On a more serious note, I did like Chiffon's backstory quite a bit. It may be an all-new character that was involved with Lola, but the effects of what happened to Chiffon as a result are intriguing to read.

Solid chapter. Plot mysteries addressed, teeth grown back, all-around well-stocked with the information needed to go into the wedding. Luffy seemed unusually sharp, which I don't dislike. Anybody get the feeling it will be luffy that betrays Capone first? Like all that talk of pirate alliances and betrayal since punk hazard has put him in the mood to try it once, because it is a pirate-y thing to do. Much like he wanted to steal gold in skypiea.

It's kinda jarring listening to Chiffon talking about how her mother is abusive toward her while Nami & Carrot fanservice is going on…lol
I like how they gave Chopper candies and Carrot fruits(?).
Everyone looks great in suits.
I'm surprised Luffy actually noticed Caesar the first time (even though it took him a while). But the second time, he was fooled.
I'm liking Jinbe as the the rational one. "Do you guys hate Big Mom?" "Hell yes!" "Let's work together & kill each other afterwards."

Now, was that bath just to have the Strawhats converse with Chiffon, or is there some kind of safety mechanism for Capone, like some devil fruit that can now be activated or something? I'd bet on the latter.

Great setup chapter. I'm especially enjoying the little details such as Luffy's tooth growing back (that was a welcome gag, as opposed to a cheesier "Sanji's-cooking-grows-it-back"); Chopper being offered candy at Capone's table; Caesar hastily rising from a table with a glass of something when Capone checks in on him, desperately pretending he's been working all along. And How Jinbei keeps a cool head in any situation. The ties between Lola and Chiffon are a nice touch, because they allow us to instantly sympathize for a character who's had little to now screen time so far.
I hope the next chapter skips ahead and show Sanji back in WC castle, and concludes on the opening of the ceremony. We've had enough setup and most loose plot threads have been addressed, no need to dwell on a plan that will derail anyway (my money is on Pekoms butting in at the last minute)

The tooth growing back made this chapter a 10/10 in itself. I love how Luffy is wearing a black fedora over his Strawhat. And the fact that not only was I right about Lola being bethroted to an Elbaf prince, but I was also right that Big Mom tried to cover it up using Chiffon. I'm feeling a bit superior right now. I feared for the retrieval of Caesar being a little too rushed, but I think the flashback panels did the whole thing justice. This chapter is amazingly enjoyable if you listen to the godfather theme while reading.

Also, if there's a Prince Loki, I'm expecting a Thor somewhere when we get to Elbaf.

If Luffy can heal his tooth by drinking milk, Zoro should be able to heal his wounds by drinking sake lol.
But I suppose that kind of logic only works on irrational characters.

Bege's belief that "clothes make the man" is definitely something I can get behind. That, and Pedro's suit is looking mighty clean.
That's our big fish, forever always the voice of reason. I also want to say how fitting Boss Jinbei looks when sitting in a room with gangsters since he looks like one himself.

I am very interested in Pekoms now.
Such a good hearted Pirate being so loyal to piece of shit that Big Mom is.. I cannot help myself and wonder why he is this way towards Big Mom.
Also Luffy cares for him and calls him his friend again. Perhaps we will see Pekoms understanding what Big Mom really is at end of this arc and I would absolutely love if Pekoms ends up joining Strawhats crew.Oda is keeping him wounded all the time, yet giving him screentime every once in a while- we didnt seen even one proper fight with Pekoms using his fighting abilities and tourtle Zoan.. I expect that he might join Luffy and go into Wano.. We are yet even hinted at some new information about Pekoms in future- when Pedro went along with Luffy and Co he said to Pekoms that he is very familiar with his tendencies.

Aladine is the captain now, so it's probably better for them to have a new full-time doctor.

Always gotta love when the Strawhats dapper up. Luffy was unusually uptight this chapter with Chopper and Brooke, really have to wonder what's on his mind. Hasn't really shown to take pirate world threats seriously without Zoro around(guess Jinbe is really helping in that regard).
Loved the Gangster Gastino and the milk bit. I really hope Chiffon and Lola unite again because it hurts to see twins separated from each other.

Going back to the milk bit, really glad Luffy got his damned tooth back, it only suited him in one scene and that was in this chapter. I probably only thought it looked good too because at this point it seemed like I'd have to get used to it.
Pirate alliances where everyone wants to kill each other should become the norm, but Luffy's instincts clearly don't sit well with Bege so I'd love to see what he pulls mid-plan/post-plan
Will someone tell me how to make a signature already? UGH!

Well, this chapter was quite fun, and had couple of awesome moments. That tooth, lol. When it comes to Oda, I think I'll always prefer straightforward acts over convulted plots. The latter not being his forte lately.
Anyway, Luffy was awesome this chapter. Hope when Capone does receive that punch, it's going to be no less than Kong Gun.

Some things here are strange… like Caesar being left by Big Mom trusting a new addition Capone so much. I dont buy it...She probably will get a wind if not already of this...
Also chopper who hates baths, takes one so hapily...?
Also it bothers me that up to now besides Capone and Caesar there are maybe just 2 of his crew who stand out...
Idk a lot of things which make me think this will go to poo fast

Neat chapter, SHs wearing suits, Background info of Lola and Elbaf and BM's Beef with Elbaf and Pekoms is the most loyal BM-member atm.
Maybe she is a halfblood giant, got exiled by the giants, and that is maybe the reason she established the multi-race-Utopia of Tottoland.

it was a god chapter..a little fan-servicey but during the fanservice scene we got some nice exposition, and the bath scene was worth it if we got that spead with everyone dressed up in theme
