Submissions for the new Arlong Park

The basic setup for the new site is now in place, so I need people to help add content to the site. The types of content we'd like submitted are as follows:

Chapter Summaries
Episode Summaries
Arc Summaries (Manga and Anime, particularly the filler, because no one ever wants to watch that)
Movie Summaries
TV Special Summaries
Manga Volume Summaries
Video Game Reviews/Guides
Anything else you think might be cool or useful for the site.

I might propose, when you have the plot and character summaries, organize them with breaks and clear marks for spoilers.

Perhaps the character and plot summaries can be structured in "layers"

i. e. at the top of the Nami page, it might only say she's a pirate thief. Roll past a warning for Baratie arc, and you find she betrays the strawhats and steals their money. Another warning and you get to the exposition in Arlong arc.

That might be interesting… I have already set up a "layer" system for the episode summaries, so we may consider that.

Are you interested in summaries for all chapters & episodes or just some? If so, which ones?

Most of them, since all of the old summaries will be scrapped.

Hey Robo Blue, I have a ton of info from my old site Total One Piece. I'll sort out what's useful and get it to you.

And for some of that stuff, like chapter summaries, couldn't you just take from the current arlong park?

i could help with the review/ guide of grand battle rush considering i have the game and the guide. also id like to see the attack section updated more often too. and have some water 7 characters too in there. idk well im sure the new arlongpark will be just as good

hey i just wanted to say something about hte website which has probably mentioned but i havent seen because i had trouble finding this forum, why cant i get on arlong park website? is there something wrong with it? past 5 months i had problems entering arlong park and tried finding this forum

The way the new site will work, many "normal" forum goers will have editing access to it. If you have content that would be useful (that you would not mind being incorperated to Arlong Park), its likely that you will get access to add and maintain it yourself.

The new system currently undergoing some final testing, expect some kind of official announcement within the next few weeks.

I'd gladly help with episode summaries, since I have pretty much the entire series burned now and I love looking back at the old episodes anyway..

It probably doesn't matter if you played it on the actual system or on an emulator. It's the same game.

You have a good taste

As Roboblue said it doesn't matter, but if you wanna play it in your computer use a psx controller adaptor cos it's very difficult to play with a keyboard XD

I might suggest editing the FAQ page about how OP is serialised to require less maintenence.

"In the United States, One Piece is published in Shonen Jump magazine monthly, beginning with issue No. 1. As of November 2005 (Issue 35), they have published to Chapter 81, and have been releasing between two and four chapters per month. Volumes in their Graphic Novel series, containing eight to nine chapters, are issued about three times a year, with Volume 8 (containing chapters 63-71) released late September 2005. Volume 9 is scheduled for January 2006." Now, there's less need to change the now-obsolete number monthly, since it doesn't say "xxx chapters have been released" with the implied "as of now"
