My first love is and will always be Renaissance Faires. I wear garb (call it costumes and I will hurt you) of the Elizabethan Era. Not complete as it would get very hot and I would melt!
Is anyone else on here a rennie? Or even has anyone else been to a Renfaire? If so what faires?
I have been to Iowa Renaissance Festival. Jubilee Renaissance Faire and Bristol Renaissance Faire. Plus after this weekend, I will have attended the first annual Four Kingdoms Renaissance faire.

I've been to one and I had fun (aside form the yellowjackets and one of my friends being a goober and making the rest of us uncomfortable). I'd like to go to more but I never have the money to afford it when there's one in the area.
If you spoiler me, I will eat you with tater tots.
I had a friend that was into that. He would make weapons and everything and travel around and stuff. I think I'm going to check it out sometime. I mean what do you think cosplaying and such came from? XD
Also my school does something like this every year… where everything cost a penny. Its pretty sweet but usually we just throw pennies at people.

Hmm yes the should have faires at Glastunbury. I can't think of which one it is off the top of my head though.
Silpheed, do check them out. They are wonderful and fun. Plus you could always dress up as a pirate there!
