First, for those that don't know, I'll give a short summary of what Xianxia is.
A Xianxia novel generally starts as a coming of age story, and revolves around a person training in the art of cultivation(martial arts with super powers basically) advancing, growing stronger, and discovering rare items as they go through
many adventures. The characters in Xianxia typically live incredibly long life spans, series usually start off with the main character being a young child or teen, and ends with them being thousands or sometimes even trillions of years old(immortal), and a supreme being.
I would recommend reading Coiling Dragon Ring, and then Stellar Transformations, as an introduction to the genre.
But, right now I'm not reading a Xianxia, I'm reading this. :D I really like the concept, story could be written better though.
I’ll let A0132 introduce himself and the novel, but in short, although the name sounds like a ‘horror’ novel, it’s not (or at least, not just). It’s a novel where characters from real life are thrown into horror/action movies like [[B]The Grudge], [[B]The Mummy], [[B]Resident Evil], [[B]Starship Troopers], etc., which they have to survive through their wits, knowledge of the plot, and…everything from Xianxia cultivation techniques to vampire bloodlines to spells to…gauss rifles?! Team battles, character development, using kungfu on dinosaurs from Jurassic Park…trust me, this is awesome, WICKED fun! The MC starts off as a bit of a ‘righteous Japanese MC’, but quickly and actually grows up!
