GREAT EPISODE! They did an awesome job this week especially with the Raizo stuff
So they finally learned how to put good filler in episode.. next week episode looks awesome too. I won't mind taking half chapter this way :ninja:
Gotta say I was expecting and hoping they would add material to show the rescue attempt for Doffy. Glad to see I was right. Hopefully they get some direction from Oda on that so the power levels between Jack and the admirals aren't done incorrectly. Hoping for even a small speaking role from Doffy given the preview.
This episode was fun overall but dragged on too much showing scenes of the destroyed city.
This was a good episode that could have been great if they adapted more of 818. The reveal of the Road Poneglyphs is enough to make this episode above the norm, but the Raizo ninja arts moment was fun. I forgot that Law was involved in the ninja fascination lol.
I enjoyed this episode thoroughly. Really solid music choices, the last scene was powerful.
I'm hyped for the Jack scene next week, I hope it's quality filler.
Great episode! Also liked seeing the addition of Raizo with the Kozuki Family in the opening.
I don't think I've been really excited for an upcoming episode since the Doflamingo's defeat episode. Looking forward to some good fight filler
I thought this was the best art for a Shingaki episode in a very long while.
It's especially apparent in this episode, but in addition to the action cuts Tomita's been doing a lot more longer, low-key, talking heads sorts of scenes this arc, and it makes me wonder if one of these days he's going to follow in Takara's and Ito's footsteps and become an animation director.
Raizo easily stole the spotlight this episode, and the music used during his showcase was epic! Must. Find. It.
So, next episode, Jack vs. Fuji and Sengoku animated, plus Speech Time feat. Doflamingo.
