O_O whoa Mr 3 won yesterday's match? I always found him to be criminally unappreciated, its nice to see him getting so much love here.

I am a bit disappointed that Crocodile lost in the 2nd round, but hey he lost to the blue goomba so I am partially fine with it. Seeing that this year would be The Year of Jinbei's Awesomeness and Plan Names, I'm totally fine if he wins this tournament. But then lets just hope that Enel makes it through so that we can at least have one likeable(?) jerk in the 3rd round ;_;.

Its a pity that Croc didn't win though…. he could have helped us get rid of Azami...
Whoa wait. Mr 2 is losing? For shame, AP. For shame.

Galdino beating Big Mam was incredible. The biggest tea drinker in OP vs. the Tea Party inviter, and the wax man somehow came out on top. Thanks AP. Nice to know I'm not the only one who appreciates Mr. 3.

I voted Bart in the following match, but I couldn't decide between the two at all and felt a pang of disappointment when Bon was lagging. I think the better character ended up winning in the end. Forgive me Bon!

Luffy vs. Perona. Perona never stood a ghost of a chance. Aside from Luffy being One Piece pretty much, she's such a polarizing character; you either love her or find her insanely annoying.

I might have to add Shanks vs. Tom, but yeah, those 3 matches are going to be great. Law has a strong fanbase, so does Buggy, I can say is a pretty even match.

But my body is not ready for Moriah match.

For example, I don't really like Corazon either, though I recognise he's a good character. I think I am in a minority though.

And how about Law ? Do you think their flashback helped people to like Law more or even give some depth for his character ? I know it was tiring to read another flashback in Dressrosa, but this one I liked and doesn't seem forced.

Pudding was a respectful and tough opponent and I had a lot of fun making those silly campaigns, and if you think that was it, HA !, What I showed was only 25% of all the campaings I did.

If there's one thing I know about AP it's that if a character is too popular to the point it has fanboys discussing how they're more powerful than characters x, y and z they won't be voted for because it's hipster to not like the popular characters around here. The polls that are conducted in Japan have Law placed second, usurping the immovable Zoro who's been rooted to that position since beginning of One Piece. Don't expect characters like Law, Zoro, Sabo, Ace, Shanks, Kaido to go far they're so cool that they become uncool. Not that it's an issue, it's nice that background/secondary/tertiary characters get some loving too.

I understood, this is why characters like Blackbeard and Lucci are "running jokes" in this forums and characters like Pwngoat, MR 3 and Norland have the chance to shine at the AP tournaments history. And this is why these tournaments are super weird/fun.

For a moment I was scared of Pudding, I thought she could do a come back in the last second.

So Chopper's the only Straw Hat who lost this round, huh? He was the first Straw Hat to fall out of this year's Oro Jackson Character of the Year Tournament, too. I've always found it kinda interesting how he's so popular in Japan and practically one of the mascots of the series there, but never seems to fare as well in the eyes of the rest of the world.

I recall some people complaining in one of the chapter threads that Big Mom was too weird and should have been more straight up badass like Whitebeard. So the opinion can vary I guess. Kaido, for all his drunken and suicidal quirks, still mostly comes off as a cold and distant strongman from his appearance and his inability to die, which I guess makes him a little less fun to support. Obviously I love him though.

Mate, listen to this story. I once in my younger years started to care less of one piece, I thought it lacked nice caracters like the old ones, And then the day came, and I saw mister F*cking 3 and the messias lord captain buggy our saviour and god in impel down arc. That was the best chapters in one piece for me, MR 3 was a legend in that ark. :w00t: :w00t:

I'm gonna guess Jinbei. He's come close multiple times, and he's shining at the moment. Then again, Jinbei could always get elected next year with this year being a now or never time for Carrot to shine. :ninja:

I think it its highly unlikely that Carrot will win, but maybe that's just my indifference towards her. Nekomamushi, Jinbei and even Zunisha are strong contenders right now, and their designs and quirks are great campaign material. But you could never predict AP, maybe it would be Cora-san, Ryuunosuke or maybe… The Wizards of Weatheria? :ninja:

Judging from the Manga section, Jinbei is extremely well received by the AP Community, and all his actions have been pure awesomeness in the recent manga chapters, so I think there would be no objections if he brings home the title, even if it costed his life. And since its the year of Sanji, maybe it would be him? But then, Sanji is a very polarising character, and that would be too predictable for AP's tastes. Well... I am biased too, I would prefer a Jinbei win over a Sanji win tbh.

Final Match: Due to various circumstances, the Final Round of the APCT is a death battle between Fred and Satori, while Machivise-sama our Zero Ou watches from above.
I really wanted to continue my fantasy epic about Satori, the tragic hero who fought a hopeless battle against the Park… :ninja:
