Literally an hour after I posted it updated, what the heck is their schedule?

For some weird reason the premiere episode for One Piece was the highest thing on Toonami, with MHA not being on the list despite the description noting its ratings.
46 ONE PIECE ADULT SWIM 1:30 AM 30 0.07 144.000

I've just this second finished Ep. 951. I purposely rationed that last set. I'm ready for the next voyage!
-
@Luffy_80 What i would prefer is they release the next two sets together to cover the flashbacks and then release the next set in July
-
@AceLuffy4ever that's a good idea.

I been sayin’.
-
Just finished the most recent set. I'm so excited to re-experience the Oden flashback in English.
-
Man, yet another week without a new set. We’re slowing down. Bummer. Hopefully they’re spacing it out so they can afford to drop two sets, but that’s probably just wishful thinking.
-
I mean we know they're not lol, just be patient
-
Haha, I'm finally caught up with reading the whole thread.
I'm fine with waiting month-and-a-half intervals for new batches at this point, since that's still a faster pace than the number of episodes they release at once.
-
We also don't know how close Toei wants us to be with the simulcast. If a simuldub is not in the works, then we may remain perpetually roughly 50 to 100 episodes behind forever.
-
Here’s hoping a simuldub is in the works. I don’t want to go back to the six-week schedule. We’re at five so far for this set.
What I can’t wait for, too, is for them to start work on the movies, which I expect will be soon, since they’re wrapping up the last handful of episodes available.
-
This would be prime time for Toonami to just skip ahead and air Wano. I know I know it doesnt matter, streaming, blah blah blah whatever. But Pokemon has shown the particular advantage to a broadcast on tv in this day and age. Pokemon airs episodes that havent come to Netflix (Netflix is the one release it has, No DVD's anymore) yet in Canada and other countries that still broadcast it on TV. And showing actually new episodes that have not yet been released on DVD or anywhere else could help a lot.

Wow. This is the first time they're re-using a character for a Collection cover, isn't it? Not counting Collection 8, of course. I wonder why they just didn't go with Pudding or one of Sanji's siblings.
-
Woah! Wedding Sanji for Collection 32? What the heck? I was sure this would be either Dogstorm, Jack, Zunesha, Big Mom, Reiju, Judge, or Pudding....
Sanji isn't even in this suit til like voyage 5, very strange

I haven't purchased a One Piece DVD/Blu-ray in nearly two years. I've been exclusively watching via my FUNimation subscription.
I know that regular "extras" such as commentaries died out when COVID started, but have any made a return recently?

Yeah, I’m not wild about the repeat. There are so many good characters in WCI to use. Ah well.

Last one was s11v9, so it’s been like five sets. Before that was s11v7. S11v3 & v4 both had one.

New set is finally up!
-
I cant follow the link since I am not from the USA. Which episodes are available now?
-
The next twelve episodes, as usual. Stops when Roger comes into the flashback, like four or five episodes deep.
Just watched the Ishitani episode, and it’s so gorgeous. Perfectly ADR-directed episode. I listened ahead for a few flashback scenes and I’m not so crazy on first listen about Oden’s voice. Sounds like someone putting on a fake voice to me, at least on first listen. Hopefully it’ll grow on me.
Here’s hoping we get an announcement later today mentioning the release date for the next set too…
-
Looks like we're now less than 100 episodes behind
-
Yay!!! Can't wait to see these eps on FUNImation!!
-
Done with the set. Don’t have many notes quality wise aside from. Good. Robbie Daymonds Oden is perfect to me.
They decided to match the subs decisions of giving buggy and shanks different voices when they’re younger unlike when they first appeared. They sound good, close enough to their voices you can see what they’re going for. 90% sure Aaron Dismuke is Shanks but can’t place Buggy. Also when it comes to younger character voices young Teach is very obviously played by… Tyson Rinehart? Only like 2 lines so it isn’t a big deal but he doesn’t fit at all to me.
-
Did y’all notice the dub went up on Hulu? All the way to thriller bark.
-
@Zephray It had up through Jaya before, so that's neat.
On another note, the Toriko X DBZ crossover expired off Adult Swim's site, curious when/if that'll show up again (dubbed that is).
-
Film Red will be released as a UHD/Blu-ray Collectors Edition in the UK. It's three discs by the looks of it, with a 40-page booklet and other physical goodies. All UHD Blu-rays are supposed to be region free, but I expect the regular Blu-rays to be Region B locked.
I don't know if they've confirmed what's on the second 1080p disc in their Comic Con panel, but it would save a lot of headaches if they've managed to get the bonus episodes (the main TV series is still with Manga Entertainment/Crunchyroll).
