@G1Ravage It's not on Funimation, it's up on Microsoft store, Funimation usually streams it weeks later. Great news though, we finally have the Reverie Arc.

@Luffy_80 It is on funimation. Voyage 8 came out on microsoft 3 weeks ago, and is the end of whole cake island. We still don’t have dubbed reverie.
-
@Blake-Bakes-Cakes Thanks buddy. I got confused. Voyage 9 will be Reverie.
-
@Blake-Bakes-Cakes Further proof this was last minute nonsense.
-
Season 13 Voyage 9 is up https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/season-1309/8d6kgwz07wjn
-
Since they have been sticking with a schedule of a set every 4 weeks with the Microsoft releases for a while now...it's possible we might get the first set of Wano right before the year ends...
-
Really glad I just got a new laptop because on my old one for some reason the video player was really slow and barely functional and I essentially couldn’t skip around or even pause without having it get stuck and have to close and restart it.
I am very sick of Super Powers.
-
RIP to Grant James OG Funi voice of Zeff and Pagaya. He had been retired for a while, but thankfully he lived a long life, and will be missed.

lmao, aren't we all.
-
Well this will be the only set i will skip due to all the fillers hoping Zephray can come through big for us, ending December with Wano will be nice

Will do as soon as someone sends along the rips for the episodes (the Microsoft eps are encrypted; I tried using those). I'm excited to work on this project, and I'm a pro with Adobe Premiere, so it shouldn't take me more than an hour or two.
-
I think I'll also end my Reverie cut with the IM episode, rather than cover the Marco bit afterwards, which doesn't really have to do with Reverie.
-
Yeah, the last 2 episodes are considered wano on the wiki which I’m somewhat inclined to agree with honestly.
-
Did anyone else notice Donald Trump at the Reverie? They even gave him a Trump voice lmao
-
On my funimation app on android Sony tv, none of the voyage eight episodes are actually available, despite it clearly saying “English and Japanese”. There’s no selection for “uncut” or English. Is it working for other people?
-
Does anyone remember and are able to find that song someone made singing through all the names of the entire Big Mom family? I can’t find it anymore.
-
@Zephray Oh wow that is something i would be very interested in hearing, was it on youtube?

I think so. I can’t find it anymore. Spent like ten minutes scrolling through YT looking for it. I might’ve seen it on Reddit.

Forgot to say: woot woot! Congrats to us all finishing WCI and Reverie! This is super exciting. There’s a random dubbed PV on the final reverie episode for Wano, plus a preview on the final episode. Nice to see what’s soon to come!
Karasu’s voice is very hard to hear. Way too quiet imo. The other new captain voices sound spot-on to me. Not sure if there were other new voices I forgot to look for as I skimmed the set, but those were all fine.
-
Thats a purposeful gag. Peachbeard draws attention to it and lindbergh later asks him to turn his voice modulator up. It is still slightly harder to hear than the other voices but its not awful.
Also, we got Ryokugu! He sounds rather neat I think.
-
Is Ryokugyu's name spoken aloud in English? If so, how was it pronounced?
-
@G1Ravage Ree-yo-kuhg-yu.
-
Halfway through my cut already. Having a hard time downloading the back half of the episodes on GoGo. Also wish this rip was slightly higher quality, but you get what you pay for, yeah? It’s still like 720 or something, not bad. The edit is smoother than I thought it would be. Only a handful of hard cuts so far. I’ve smoothed out most of them. Definitely some suspect decisions in the Sengoku section were he clearly narrates the flashback while talking on screen to himself….but I’ll cut those since they’re not important or canon.
-
@Zephray how did you get the rips?

I don’t want to get this site flagged for any reason, so not posting links. Just google “one Piece dub watch online.”
Exporting now.
-
Now, uh, where do I upload it for y’all? Last time I did this sort of thing was back in the days of MegaUpload.
-
@Zephray Try google drive
-
Okay. I don't want to get this site flagged for illegal content. Lord knows it's gotten enough flack for that. So DM me if interested in the Reverie Dub cut. I only left in the one FI flashback since it was very relevant to remembering a small character you'd otherwise have forgotten. Otherwise I've cut every flashback, episode title, episode preview, and "To Be Continued." The cut runs just over two hours long, and it covers the Reverie episodes only. There are only a handful of jarring cuts; I was able to clean most of them, but I was too lazy to search for BGM online for transitions to make it super high One Pace quality. DM me if you want it.
-
@Zephray No thanks I'm good
-
@Nitwit he did a very good cut due to me skipping the original, i missed out on quite a bit
-
I finally got around to watching it the other day. Was a joy and somewhat surreal to see Reverie finally dubbed. Mostly, I’m just excited to Kaido’s VA, who delivered some more intimidating, gutteral, and perfect lines this set. It was very cool to hear BM and Kaido interact.
-
These are also used for the season thumbnails right?

A lot of big news from Anthony Bowling at the start of the newest OP Podcast episode
http://www.onepiecepodcast.com/2022/12/12/episode-749-pigeon-guy-season-with-anthony-bowling/Most important takeaway, they are close to getting to the Raid of Onigashima in the Dub
-
@Elektrik-Dynomite Thats huge but what is the other big news lol
-
Thats kinda it actually lol, should have said just one big news
-
Anthony also pretty much directly says he’s playing one of the scabbards. Ashura Doji, is my guess.
-
He's a little unclear on this point, but it sounds like he says Mike is off the series working on CSM and other shows. Anthony is the main point person on the show now.
-
I mean yeah, Ive surmised that much just seeing the credits. I'm pretty sure Mike is one of the most experienced well known ADR directors, so CR uses him for a lot of bigger shows. It just makes sense for him to hop around things a bit. Since Enes Lobby or so he's pretty much hopped between one piece and AOT or whatever other project he has going on. I'm sure he's not done with one piece or anything.
-
But he also said they take seven episodes each. So I'm a little confused on that point.
-
@Blake-Bakes-Cakes My money is on Kawamatsu
-
@Zephray without having listened to it, busy atm, I assume he means that he himself has taken the role of main ADR Director but Mike still helps out. He's only doing CSM right now so it shouldn't be too much of a burden but idk
-
I'm surprised that the dubbing for the show is already up to point of the raid at Kaido's base already.
-
He said they were almost there. So probably they're in the flashback? Idk. Either way, they're definitely a set or two farther than I expected.
-
Wait if they are at the raid, doesnt that mean they are already in Act 3?
-
At this rate, it's entirely possible they'll announce a simuldub before having dubbed/released every episode up to the current broadcast.
2023 will be huge for the franchise, given the events in the anime and the live action. It would be a big missed opportunity if they don't kick off a simuldub next year.
-
It sounds like they intend to be simuldubbing the anime by 2024, probably sticking to the usual 2-5 episodes behind the sub release (like most of the anime on Crunchyroll)
-
We are eating so good in the dubbed. I truly love to see it.
-
Anthony didn’t really say anything about a simuldub. Not sure where y’all are getting that, though I hope you’re right. I wish the hosts would’ve asked him about their plans once they catch up. They could also just do a set every three months. Not sure which they’ll do, though I’m also hoping for a simuldub. Are other countries doing one?
