Very excited to report, too, that they did in fact keep Pam Dougherty as Big Mom. Still can't believe they dropped this randomly and I found out just by checking this forum today, lol. Very excited to ration these episodes.

I have learned that companies will always value maximum profit, especially in cases where reaping those profits won't negatively impact the brand (which would affect their maximum profits, lol). (Meaning people expect 12-13 episodes, so they aren't angry about not getting 14). If it's any consolation, I certainly wish you'd won this debate.
Jimbei sounds just a little more garbled than usual; will probably take a few episodes for him to settle back into the role. Big Mom sounds good, but I'll need to sit with her performances and hear more of them to see how she measures up to David's Kaido.
I think they nailed all the siblings. Yonji sounds a little different from what I expected, but it fits well! Brulee sounds good, too, and Bakugo voicing one of the siblings is hilarious. Only voice I'm not sold on yet is Judge, who gives me (at least on first listen) that anime-VA issue of sounding like a smaller guy trying to sound big. I think that's a problem of pretending to have a deep voice using the front of your throat instead of the back, but I'm no expert.

That's the same thing I thought when I originally heard the sub voice, so its sounds like they're accurately adapting it, I guess lol

I screen record on funimation then sync up the audio, thats why most of the clips I upload have the subs still.
The real arlong park was the friends we made along the way

Zephray, with all due respect, I think after how many times they have screwed up putting up episodes, they wouldn’t do so by complete accident. This is a normal gap between releases, on a tuesday like always, and all the episodes are there. It’s clearly not that they didn’t intend for them to be out.

They could’ve easily forgotten (and it seems like they have) to post about it or announce it. I hardly think I said anything worth debating. And yes, who knows, they may have gotten communication wires crossed and posted it a week before they meant to. Who knows with this company, particularly with the surely overwhelming merger happening now.

Per usual, you have a lot more faith in this company than I do. Probably because I’ve been following them since the OP dub began over a decade ago.
I’ve worked for some companies over the years, both big and huge. It’s never so seamless a process as it looks from the outside. Mistakes happen plenty even at larger companies than Funimation.

It’s not about faith it’s that this would literally be like next to impossible to do by accident. You’re saying they accidentally uploaded all the episodes, on the day they usually release things, completely finished, no issues whatsoever, they haven’t been taking down or anything, is a mistake? That just defies common sense.

What I meant is the people who announce the set might think it’s coming out next week, like there was a miscommunication between release and announcements and the release happened a week early relative to the announcements. Let it rest, mate.

One thing that shocks me is that apparently Judge knew about Haki, so i wonder why he never sought out to learn it for him and his kids, it must has to do with his arrogance thinking his technology is superior because man the likes of Ichiji with haki would be devastating
