God that is fucking horrendous, like it just gets worse and worse as you read. Incredibly disappointing, I really liked Daman.
I don’t really think your first instinct upon seeing a story like that would to be how it would effect an english dub if an anime, but this probably won’t much. If he gets blacklisted (hopefully), two of the characters he voiced will probably never get lines again, and one of them probably will have an incredibly minor role if that (kelly funk).
I just hope the victim is doing alright.

Casted as the lead villain in an OP movie, an important character in Evangelion, and now a big character in Haikyuu. This guy was blowing up. We won't miss him on OP (Bullet, Tanaka (Film Gold secondary villain), & Kelly Funk), but future seasons of Haikyuu will be odd with the recast. He was a good actor, too; bummer it's always the good actors who are assholes.

Yeah, after Chris Ayres unfortunately passed I thought this guy was a good sound-alike for Freeza. Sucks for people who were actual fans of his work. A real shame.

He was very good at changing his voice without sounding hokey or not believable. The guy had a ton of range; how do you go from Kaoru (spelling, the guy from Eva) to Douglas Bullet? It was impressive. I followed him on social media since Stampede and he was really supportive and seemingly sweet; and ironically he was very woke. Clearly he was in a difficult situation, falling in love with a straight man, and had a difficult time with that; it’s a shame he resorted to such horrendous behavior, slander, and sexual assault. Not to mention the age difference factor of him taking advantage of someone younger, and this accuser has a lot of proof, it seems. I’ll be shocked if Daman gets another job in this industry (rightfully so), and I’ll definitely miss some of his inevitably recast performances, like the new one in Haikyuu.
Have any voice actors spoke up about this yet? Will be very concerning if they’re all quiet about this guy.

Yeah, gonna be real here, he's nowhere near as big as Vic (which took something as big as DBS Broly to spearhead it) so lots of people probably won't really care.
I'll also be very surprised if Funimation or anyone else in the industry does something about it. At best he'll be silently dropped and replaced with a soundalike.

It's going to be more interesting for the upcoming Dragon Ball stuff. Since he's the current voice of Freeza. And we know sooner or later the anime will come back to cover the Moro and Granola stuff.

No special features again, and they already replaced the funi logo with the crunchyroll one. I wonder if it was delayed specifically to not spoil the merger.

Damnnnnn. The new releases aren't going up on the Funimation store. Guess that's kaput too and I need to switch over to buying on CR's store. This particularly sucks because I was getting a % off Funi purchases as a subscriber. So this merger just made the cost go up about $5 for me every set. >.<
Stupid CR discounts suck; they require you spend $100 each purchase to get money off. That never happens for me because I buy the preorders as they come out.

But they missed a few…773, 775, and 777 are still missing the dub. It shows on the site as "Subbed Only".

I've been catching up on the Zou dub lately, and I gotta say I love Sheepshead's voice. He was so forgettable in the sub/manga, but I'm consistently laughing out loud when he talks in the dub, the accent is great. Dogstorm, Catviper, and Jack are all great too, but this guy stood out as someone I did not expect to enjoy

Im just so excited for the next batch to get announced to know when i can hear the Vinsmokes in english, i was coming on here to say i hope they cast Vados from Dragonball Super to be her voice actress until i remember she is already Vivi :P, another voice i think would suit her is Megan Hollingshead who played Mai Valentine back in the day for Yugioh and Rangiku in Bleach

He might be lying this time to avoid legal action; or he might've been lying before to get back at the guy for a sour breakup. You never know with this stuff. Likely this last article saved Daman's career, though. He can say a bad breakup went wrong now. I don't think anyone will fire him now, especially if no other people come forward.
If others come forward, people/companies will be far more inclined to believe the accusations.

We don't really know how involved Toei is in the process. I'm not sure. Also, we don't know what happened with the hack and how that influences their data deliveries.

It is a shame that I don't live in the U.S meaning I can't buy the episodes to watch, so I will have to watch when they hit the stream on FUNimation's site. Which since they never announced when they will be, I am guessing (and based on the pattern of past releases) this batch should go live via streaming on April 12th.
