I don't if it just me, but I never really care much for Vic's performance as Sabo even before the entire situation about him came out. In my opinion, Johnny seem like the great choice for Sabo.

Vic’s performance was fine, but he whisper-talked too much. I’m usually not too picky about voices unless they’re way way off base from what I remember, or in the rare instances where, for whatever reason, I get a too-specific voice in my head from the manga.

Not just you. Didn't think it was terrible or anything but JYB easily feels like a potential better choice.

I agree, when Gold came out it just didn't feel like a good fit, and then Episode of Sabo further confirmed the feeling

Another thing that has to be said is that it didn't feel any different from his preformance as Edward Elric, which I didn't mind at the time because conversely I actually thought it fit quite well,
but yeah I agree, JYB does seem like a good replacement. -
I had no idea Morgans was in this movie. Now I'm super hyped.
JYB is a great replacement for Sabo. Man, this'll be an interesting movie on many levels for the dub viewing.

You guys have me hyped for the new Sabo actor; sounds like he’ll be even better than the original. Weird that this character has had two actors in three movies before we even reached him in the series.
Morgans should be an easy cast. That’ll be cool to hear. What’s that make it? Four recurring cast members we’re hearing new voices from this movie? Sabo, Blackbeard, Sengoku, and Morgans?
Bummer that Jinbei doesn’t appear to be in this movie. Guess there just wasn’t room for him.
A little good news: the theater I’m seeing Stampede in, dubbed on Saturday afternoon, is almost sold out.

My theater only has 13 people myself included, though that could change. There's a dub screening of Stampede in NYC, with over 200 tickets sold. I really hope the dub does well.

Man, everyone on Twitter is nagging Funimation for a dub announcement, some asking for simuldub. That’s literally the only thing that would make me totally forgive and forget this giant break. If a simuldub negotiation held everything up, that would be good enough for me. I’ll be bitter otherwise; bad brand management to frustrate people.

The very best scenario I'm hoping for would be that they announce One Piece Seasons 10 & 11, being released to DVD on a steady, regular bi-monthly schedule. I'm clearly being delusional, as we'll be lucky to get Punk Hazard at all right now.

I was about to post this myself, but yes it appears our prayers have been finally answered.
Now, I'm really hoping that this is a simuldub announcement and anything that's not just Punk Hazard because it would make this announcement seem a lot more redundent.

Seems like it. @Toei Animation has a big letter D on their page, then @Funimation has U, then @OnePiece has B. Weird way to do this, but I guess it is what it is.

Heck, my dream would be that they've dubbed most (if not all) episodes up to current and will put them ALL on Funimation Now tomorrow and also announce a Simuldub (of max 3 episodes behind Japan like most Simuldubs) and will just keep doing that, while pumping out DVDs and hopefully BDs bi-monthly if not monthly (like they did with Fairy Tail a few years back). Now I know that dream would never come true, lol.
It is awesome that they have put those three pics up on their twitter accounts, this gives me hope that something dub related is coming.

They did the same Twitter thing for the 30th anniversary DBZ set, with Funi and Toei tweeting the four and three-star Dragon Balls before announcing that a (limited and otherwise crappy for various reasons) 4:3 release was coming.
I also hope that tomorrow we'll finally get the series streamed in the UK, which is over a decade overdue. News about Stampede would also be good, but they might be saving that for the weekend's London Comic Con.

For the 20th anniversary of the One Piece tv series, I'm rewatching the dub of the Arlong arc. I have to admit, it been awhile since I watch the early episodes of the dub. One thing for sure, I still enjoyed Chris Rager's performance as Arlong.

The only reason I think a simuldub will never happen is Toei. Since you know how diffcult they can be with Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, and One Piece.

A simuldub is currently going on in South Korea, there's no reason it couldn't happen for us as well.

I gave up on the idea of catching up sincce they decided to do a year long hiatus. I am just at my lowest expectation phase and want consistent releases again. Dressrosa and Whole Cake are such long arcs, it would suck if we had anymore hiatus before we actually finished them and would easily kill the hype for anyone buying these voyages/collections if they decided to do another year long hiatus.
