Probably not going to happen. I think in a OPP interview Mike and Joel talked about how doing a broadcast dub would be a logistics nightmare due to the size of the cast.

Did they really? Wow, so there is reason to believe that they're just not sharing the acquisition info with us yet? Because I doubt that the list for the sub hasn't been updated since Season 8, they definitely have these seasons acquired for home video. Now I just want an official announcement for 3D2Y and Film Gold.

Nowadays they rarely do convention annoucements. Their panels are pointless at this point

^Yeah, we're more likely to get announcements from their blog or the OP podcast than during a convention nowadays. The one downside to that is that we can't really make very clear estimations of when we might get future announcements.

Yeah One Piece and Fairy Tail are the only two anime of Funimation that i am currently following the most, the reason Fairy Tail animation is so much better because you have to remember that we are watching One Piece episodes that originally aired like in 2011 and in 2014 Fairy Tail had an animation change after taking a year off.
Fairy Tail looks to be going on hiatus again which i think is good since that will allow the dub to catch up to them since we are seriously not all that far behind and i hope with One Piece they are able to start releasing sets back to back months then a collection, back to back month, then a collection and be able to keep up that pattern but that may be asking too much

The Fairy Tail animation's pretty cheap from what I've seen honestly, even carrying into the new series but maybe that problem fixed itself later. But then they started using that atrociously bland desaturated color palette for everything…then again despite not watching the current dub episodes in years I still remember just how terrible long stretches of Marineford got to be. Unfortunately I don't think the work being from just a few years ago is why for the most part.

Amazing how it's been nearly 9 years since Luffy first met Blackbeard in the dub. That was one of the key essential Funi scenes back then.
