Full disclosure, I did overall enjoy the film, but it's a little weird for me since that was my first exposure to the story. All I'll say is, while I liked it, it probably didn't deserve a best picture nominee.
And that's two Oscars for Mad Max.

I had a Smash Bros tournament tonight, so I'm not watching, however I do have something to say about the Oscars:
I find it very funny that a movie called "Room" is a contender for best picture.

Cinematography goes to The RevenantEhhhh....ok The Revenant was beautiful looking in a minimalist sort of way and its vast scenery but I still liked Hateful 8 better.
