Yes, and that always happened when Luffy was going to beat the main arc villain (and Luffy always said who he is gonna beat himself in advance) and Zoro said that because there was always a subordinate of the villain who got in Luffy's way so that he couldn't fight the arc's boss. The last example of this is when Zoro said he'd take care of Pica so that Luffy could proceed to beat DD because Luffy said he would kick DD's ass. This time Jack is the one who Luffy said he'd beat (so Jack is this arc's main villain) so if you think Luffy is gonna watch how Zoro fights him or if you think that he is gonna leave Zou to go get Sanji back and leave all his friends in danger, you couldn't be more wrong and maybe you are even delusional. Frankly I thought that when Oda shows that Jack is back on Zou (and Luffy hasn't left yet) that this stupid speculation that Luffy won't fight Jack will stop. Ah, guess I'll just have to wait for a chapter or two…

I really wanna know what happened between Jack and the marines escorting Doffy. I mean, it should be easy to Fuji sink Jack's ship with his abilities, yet Jack is alive, why? He failed but managed to escape, he did rescue Doffy and it's coming with him to Zou, and Sengoku, Tsuru and Fuji are all dead.. A battle in the open sea with so many DF users shouldn't have a different outcome.

Well if they do attack then its another reason for luffy not leaving but i think its mostly people wanting a sea battle that think that way since i thought they were talking about FINDING zou due to it moving its harder to go to than a island but instead that the people on it are the targets and if they killed zou then the people on it that they're looking for would drown and they would not be able to get any information out of them.

the first tea party we knew about was set to happen 3 days after the event of fishman island,but that one either already happened (but pekoms and bege were way too chill about the strawhats if that's the case), or it has been postponed because of the lack of fishmen island sweets,the wedding or both

Loving these translations. "Riley"…"Crying like a pussy"...Even though it was a completely serious part of the chapter, I burst out laughing at Brook's "OMG". That was so bad.
Honestly, I'm surprised that some people are surprised that Luffy will probably fight Jack. In every arc, even the most transition-y arcs, Luffy's fought somebody. Why would that be any different now?
Loguetown --> Luffy fights Smoker
Reverse Mountain --> Luffy fights Laboon
Jaya --> Luffy fights Bellamy
Long Ring Long Land --> Luffy fights Foxy
Post-Enies Lobby --> Luffy & crew fend off Garp
Amazon Lily --> Luffy fights Bacura, then Sonia and Mari
Post-War --> Luffy & Brothers fight lots of people (in flashback), Luffy skirmishes with Jimbei, Luffy + Jimbei +Rayleigh break into Marineford again.
Return to Sabaody --> Luffy fights Demalo Black and a PacifistaZou is already longer than or equal to all of those arcs, and some of those fights were actually pretty epic. Is Luffy really gonna leave Zou with his biggest fight having been a teeny tiny skirmish with Rody and Black Back? Methinks no.

It's not a question of trust though. There's a lot of pride in there as well.
Luffy has a bunch of friends on Zou right now. He's not going to leave them behind to fight regardless of whether Zoro can protect them or not. That would be incredibly out-of-character.
Luffy won't run away from an obstacle hoping that others will solve them. That was Ace's entire philosophy.

So THERE were those 3 days! I guess the first Party got delayed or sth. after the Vinsmokes/Charlottes found out about Sanji. I wonder if the treasure-box from FI has been opened by now. Neptune and that Minister were afraid that the bomb inside of it could explode once the box opens.
