Luffy is pretty lax at the moment and is in no desperate rush. If Jack wants to pick a fight, he'd have to get through them.

with Kaido's interest in the secret of the world, and people speculating on the result of the kidd, appo, hawkins meeting with him, im now starting to the possibility of them working towards the same objective. The alliance takes out shanks, kaido probe for information, makes me ponder how much do pirates like kidd know about such secrets…. if they even know their are such secrets
but i think Kaido will fall before he gets the chance to do so, but the kidd alliance still has their objectives of which we are not aware of as to the why Shanks and what will they get from eliminating him and people like blackbeard might use the search for answers as reason to duke it out.

I Expect Jack to unleash a hell of attack to Zunisha, and then Zunisha cries in pain or something and Luffy hears his cries for help through the voice of all things..Then procceed on taking out Jack.
I can see all the possibilities open right now. I'm mostly leanin towards Zoro stepping in front with a line like "captain let me handle this guy - i haven't tested my powers yet blah blah", Zoro is overpowered by Jack but only by an Inch, Law pulls a gamma knife or something similar, Jack goes down.
I don't understand why Luffy needs Pekoms to go to BM. He can tell them where she is and some codewords so a group can raizo itself into the wedding. While he stays and defends his kin. I'm on the Luffys-new-alliance-beating-Jack-together band btw, but still.

I totally agree with all of this. And what's funny is, at least here, I feel like there's a somewhat-even split for those arguing Luffy v Jack as opposed to Zoro v Jack. On Oro Jackson, it seems like 80+% of the people there are still rooting for Zoro v Jack. As a strong fan of both Luffy and Zoro myself, I really don't get why so many people are trying to hype the shit out of Zoro v Jack, even when Luffy v Jack makes more sense, story-wise, in just about every way.

Dealing with Kaidou is now a priority, alright. But Sanji's one too.

Nice post. I don't understand all the die hard posters. Saying something is going to happen only brings up opposition of people that are so certain it's going to happen their way.
If only people were like;
Person A:
"I would like to see Zoro fight Jack to see how they matched up".
Person B:
"That's pretty cool, I would like to see Luffy vs Jack, that's my fantasy, can't wait to see how the story unravels !
Person C: "I think it might be a group effort, I wonder how the situation is going to be approached."
But people start to pull illogical or vague reasons to justify their fantasy and then arguments happen. I find this interesting.
The facts are, the Strawhat's are on the Island along with Law and the Minks, by the looks of it, they will all stop Jack. People should stop making their own story of events to match up what they think.

Chapters like this remind me of the time when Luffy decided to accept Vivi and Igaram's plea to save Alabasta from Crocodile, and we all know how deep that storyline got.
Luffy was hugely inspiring for Momonosuke and the kid probably doesn't even know it. It looks like Luffy wanted to give Momonosuke an objective, to learn how to act rather than let suffering swallow him up, the kind of will his father seems to have had. Luffy reacts on the will of people. Vivi's pain to defeat Crocodile, Montbland Cricket's will to uncover his ancestor's secret, Chouchou's fight to protect his owner's store from Richie lol (which was actually the first sign of Luffy hearing the "voice of all things"). Now that Momonosuke has emotionally expressed his desire to defeat Kaido, it's on. The Road Poneglyph's are an aim for the crew, but Luffy doesn't seem to give a fuck about that too much, or maybe he doesn't understand properly. Momonosuke's reasons to defeat Kaido and his plea for help is the kind of stuff that Luffy does understand and takes him to a whole new level in combat. Now helping Momonosuke becomes a higher priority for Luffy than finding the Road Poneglyphs and becoming Pirate King, which is what makes Luffy different from the rest because his actions are purely selfless - unless we're dealing with meat. However he does love this shit, the last chapter showed how much he wants to fight the Yonko head on. One thing's for sure the fight with Kaido is set up to be a big one.
The last two chapters have really created an insight into future events. Kaido or Big Mom, who goes down first? Then there's the WGvt and Blackbeard to deal with. The recent revelations about Raftel really puts the aim back in focus for the overall plot of One Piece. Brilliant timing by Oda, we're at the start of real battle for the seas. But I think it will take many years, juts look how long Dressrosa took.

Technically Jack is not going back on Zou if he's attacking Zunisha itself. I could be somewhat right about there not being more fights on Zou lol.
Even the page of him reading the newspaper earlier didn't have me convinced that he'd come back. I thought he'd go to Wano. It's amusing how the 1 billion man is so unimportant in the grand scheme of things because we have some direct confrontations with 2 emperors and the shogun coming up. Get out of the way Jack, I'm wayyyyyyyy more interested in the 'Year of Sanji' and Wano. Kaidou may not be in Wano but we can assume the shogun is. Zoro will definitely fight the shogun(fingers crossed that he's not a Spandam-like figurehead). It's been a while since he's fought an actual swordsmen and not just a guy who happens to use a sort of blade.
Jack is not as thoughtless as many perceive. you don't have to be stronger to win a fight, then again what does stronger even mean?
Doflamingo had enormous value to his crew, no better chance of retrieval than while being escorted, compared to lingering and then there are three admirals, Akainu and who else would be come an obstacle where bandages would be the least of jacks problems.
Jack destroying zunisha and its people is great from a military perspective, so i can only admire this character, what a cowardly but intelligent general in kaido's army. no survivors equals no insect seeking retaliation its a brilliant idealogy for a warrior to have, though cowardly its seems from where i stand somewhat efficient.

At this point it no longer matters who beats Jack, still i disagree with those comparing Jack with Vergo, on the basis that neigher of those two were right hand men, well there was that one translation with jack but atleast not vergo, trebol was what was deemed as right hand man, Jack itself is no Queen, king or ace when it comes to cards so, Mabe Zoro admirers can chew on that.

He's one of the three calamities, who are supposed to be the three right hands of Kaido. He is not the exclusive right hand man.

One thing that bothered me all the way through though, is the way Law has been treated. Guy seems like he have no personality nor motivations anymore, he is just there to help the SH's, and i know it can be argued that Luffy helped him enormously with his ultimate wish (defeat Doflamingo), what i understand, but it certainly doesn't look like his opinion have as much weight to the alliance as it had back in PH or the first half of DR.

roger wrote the words on a piece of gold not on the poneglyph which oden would have been able to do oden but he joined in the new world where wano is while skypiea is in the first half of the grand line in paradise. I mean, it's not like he should have as much focus as he had in the previous arcs, but at least this chapter oda could have portrayed him as being a little bit more important, because when it comes to the SHs and HPs alliance, he is an equal to luffy. They're similar to what Nekomamushi and Inuarashi are to the minks.

I have said it as well so i agree with you the minks talk about a secret weapon that might be Zou itself even though they seem to also turn into wereminks with the full moon but zou would be more effective than depending on the moon for a transformation lol.
