Tom: Let's start this match off with a don!
Hiruluk: Or a bomb!
Garp: This is indeed a manly match!
Yorki: A man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do.
Executive Officers: We gotta avenge Doffy.
Lao G: Leave it to me!
Kuma: Speaking of leaving, if you could go anywhere, where would it be?
Urouge: Anywhere that Kizaru isn't.
Iceburg: Man, this match is kind of a sausage fest.
Kalifa: That's sexual harassment!
Wanda: What was that about sausages?
Paulie: That scandalous top looks familiar to me for some reason.
Doc Q: Been a bad year for our team so far.
Kizaru: Kinda true for the Navy as well.
Van Augur: If that is our fate, then what can we do?
Satori: Rigging things works for me.
First Round, Match 6
-
-
Urouge and Satori on the same match? Oh boy…
-
Gotta rep my main man Garp.
-
Well, shit. First time I've come in here and had no idea whom to vote for. I don't have a much stronger inclination to any of these people as opposed to others.
EDIT: It'll probably end up being either Garp (Will of D!), Urouge (Supernovas!), or Wanda (cute fuzzy Mink!), though.
-
Well finally a match I don't have strong enough like for one character right off the bat.
This time since I don't have any favorites I will wait to see campaigns. -
Campaign for me, muhahahahaha!
I like too many of the characters equally to give a vote, so I'll leave it to the campaigners.

Voting for the king of mischief; the master ruseman; evil incarnate; the ordeal of balls. Not because I like him, no.
Because it must be done.

Kinda funny how hard he tried all these years, and Machivise beat him in is own game without even trying. lol
-
It may be 600 chapters ago, but Van Augur snipe is still one of the most impressive introduction of a baddie, especially since he isn't even the main one of the group. So yea consider this if you're inclined in voting him

Who knows. It might've been his plan all along.

Now that you mention that, I did feel something uneasy when I was voting like someone was making my hand to vote for Daz Bones, maybe I'm sleeper agent of his.
-
Ah, crap. Voted for Hiluluk and I didn't even notice Satori there :(

Sounds like something Satori would post.

So close to voting Satori now >_<
-
You know who to vote for!
Or else.
-
Since Machvise is already the Tournament Winner by the Zero Rule, can we also go out of our way to get other characters to have zero votes too? Doc Q and the Donquixote execs are possible now too.
-
Voting Yorki for Brook and Laboon! XD
-
Bring it home Garp!!!
-
Just voted for the lightman who ain't too fast(mentally)…
-

No, he did it legitly. Zeros afterwards will be ignored simply because people would just let it happen rather than trying to avoid it.
ANyone else doing it this year would be planned and intentional. It'd be like shooting for a tie vote and that sucks.
-
Got to vote in my favorite old man To…Hiru...Garp.
-
I'll just leave this here. :ninja:
-
Hiruluk I s'pose.

This post is deleted!

That is exactly the reason I voted for him
-
What a friendly guy!
VOTE GARP TO BE BEST FRIENDS! -
If machvise already wins then are the rest of the rounds pointless
-
^We still need to vote for the silver medalist.

It still ( as a new user ) feels kind of cheap that it's just unmentioned. And all of a sudden pulled off like a trump card, I feel if everyone knew about it ( I dont know about how much AP has grown and the ratio of returning/new contestants ) it wouldnt happen.
And isnt the point of nominations so that at least one person will be voting for them. The zero rule almost directly contradicts this, considering it rewards a character that someone essentially pulls their support for them. Or that if one wanted their character to win, then anti campaigns would work, I dont know the diametrically opposed goals defy logic.
This might be me being a person that needs to get out more but this legit ruined my night.
I know it's all more fun but I was hyped for this. Now it's all a race for 2nd or not a race at all

Tom - best Fishman character, one of the best flashback characters. DON.
Hiruluk - oof, another great flashback character. Toughie.
Garp - nah
Kuma - the more time goes on, the more I'm curious to know a deeper backstory
Iceburg - I love Iceberg, he was one of the best parts of that entire story arc. Also cute mouse
Paulie/Lulu/Tilestone - they're cool, too bad they got some serious competition
Yorkie - he's aight, not amongst my favs though
Wanda - there's a lot of Nami jabs to make here
Urouge - Satori is the superior meme character this round
Kizaru - god his face pisses me off
CP9 - it always bugged me that there weren't 9 of them
G Lao - amusing old man, I love his design being so sinister
Doc Q - I like to think Stronger is equal in strength to the others
Van Auger - not a fan for some reason
Satori - iirc this ****er provided an ass kicking to Luffy AND Sanji with Usopp
those 3 dudes - I liked the members that weren't these 3 better tbhI could easily pick any of Tom/Hiriluk/Iceburg, but I'm feeling Iceburg right now
-
Well I had a fave here but said I'd wait for campaigns… thank you 10th Strawhat for the one you support is the one I do like... Garp.
Speaking of which......Dear AP ... you disappoint me.
No one has posted this yet?? -
Just thinking this block has a strong water 7 theme to it. Ok that song cheered me up a little. Made im not gonna just drop this right away.

Honorable mentions go out to Tom-san and Iceburg. If I could vote more than once, I'd vote for the both of them!

The wretched forsaken land of Arlong Park loomed before him, its high towers casting ominous shadows where no light dared to touch. The air was putrid, the walls black. On top of its highest tower was a huge gaping mouth, filled with malice, the very face of doom. Its inhabitants, felled beasts hideous and twisted, leered down at him from the tall battlements. Its rulers, crowned with fallen stars of different hues, glared down at him, their eyes as stone cold as their hearts. Upon their gnarled hands they wielded the legendary Banhammer, the ancient weapon said to be able to wipe the very existence of a being. The weapon of greatest evil.
Satori clutched upon his dial and gulped. It was his mission. He was to cleanse this land, this forbidding land that existed since the beginning of time, which stood there, a symbol of calamity and nightmares, a grim reminder of the darkness of the world. Satori shivered. The fear gnawed away his courage. He found himself in a daze, hypnotized by the terrible beauty of the land. His hands shook, his bowels quivered. He found himself down on his knees, so entranced by the majestic gloom of the land.
But lo! The dark clouds suddenly parted, and the sky cleared. A sky full of stars. And high upon them, the moon shone, its radiance basking the world below. Clear and cold, a serene beauty. For a split second Arlong Park seemed to diminish, its malevolent grandeur no more.
And it was gone.
But that was enough.
The sign, sent by the benevolent Lord Enel rekindled the flame in his round little heart. O how clear and glorious the sign was, filled with god's mercy and grace! His spirit, hardened by resolve, burned brighter than the stars themselves. The dark shadows of Arlong Park recoiled, inhuman wails piercing the night. His face, stern and grim, sent a waver of doubt over the lords and rulers perched upon their high thrones.Gripping his dial, Satori, Disciple and Warrior of Enel, charged forward with a yell, a ball of hope and light illuminating the dawn.
Vote for Satori. Vote for the warrior of the one true god. Vote for the one who carried the weight of the world above his wings.
Vote for the man who had enough balls to single handedly challenged Arlong Park.
Vote for the True Hero. -
Got to vote in my favorite old man To…Hiru...Garp.
Exactly how I felt.
You should vote for Satori.

bows presents her highness an embroidered handkerchief spun with the finest silk
Your highness, may this unassuming peasant humbly request for Satori to make through this round, by your royal decree?
-
I voted for Garp! ^^

Alas! My phenomenal cosmic power has no hold over this here tournament. My realm is only on Femme island. Where is that? In your heart, of course.
-
What was that madness with Machvise ? Anyway..I voted for Kuma, the ultimate defender of T. Sunny.
-
Proof that grandpas can still be cool
-
-
since we have already have a winner LOL
I'll go auto pilot….......
so Garp it is.
-
I voted for Lao G so only the oldest grandpas advance from this match. The Grandpa-rty
-
@uniaka:
He got nothing on this grandpa:ninja:
!
what you talkin about?
That's one wild uncle, not a grandpa! … and he's not that old, he's only 56 compared to Lao G's 70 …and odd that we don't know Garps age lol!Even Lao G wasn't seen takin care of babies, he ignored poor Jora as she took care of Dellinger
Garp is it when it comes to real grandpas
