I didn't knew that either, but it would explain why this manga feels different. Two of my favorite manga are also written by female mangaka (Kekkaishi and Full Metal Alchemist) and it is true their characters and plot usually have a unique feeling to them.

I like that there is drawbacks to the power up. They are mainly based on anger so they do not completely master them yet. But it’s true that Nezuko is a bit to powerful

But it's still friggin' cool and since they can only use this power when they're really angry, nearly out of control, and close to dying, it means it's still not enough to fight an upper moon properly.

That's what I felt when Tanjirou was hyper in previous chapter but collapsed due to exhaustion. I thought the author found an acceptable way to develop the growth of his hero.
But I hope it is not Tanjirou who will save Nezuko but Uzui instead -
Oh this week chapter is extremely good. I loved it. The flashback, the parallel between both girls. Everything was excellent.
And I really like this artist drawing style. You really feel the love of their mother on this pages. And those funny faces -

Just caught up to this series and while nothing sticks out in particular yet, I find most stuff very solid, including the art style and some loveable side characters. Good stuff overall

A sudden op-power up that makes the readers doubt the writing?
Not a problem, easily rectify in a few weeks with an explanation: the stress it causes is tremendous(to the point of life and death) and the upper moon is actually just using less than half of her power, with the other half being his brother.
This manga pleases me a lot and has a lot of DGM vibes along with the heroes always struggle and never catching the break.I just really like this arc.

I like Kimetsu it doesn't feel like it's doing anything outstandingly(like Hero Academia came out with a bang and totally felt fresh and like a new generation of shonen) but I enjoy it a lot. It's kinda of the anti Black Clover(and I don't even dislike the series it's just meh with some good moments) to me.
