Chopper only expected two people. He was taken by surprise as well. You can see he was ready to fight as he was in Kung Fu point.
And Bege anticipated Sanji anyway, which is why he went for Nami and Chopper first. Chopper is not going to pop rumble with 4-5 guns pointing at him. Bege also has Seastone weapons to handle Chopper anyway.
In fact, I think Bege might have CoO. He knew about Nami, Chopper and Caesar being around.
Didn't he say he doesn't have any?

- 300M Bounty-man (that doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who crucifies people or attack marines directly, meaning that his bounty is actually relevant).
He has been shown to be a vicious man and a planner.
Observation haki would suit him just right.

After rereading the chapter i'm quite sure Sanji could have done something to Capone and Pekoms if Nami and Chopper hadn't been caught. Caesar asked Sanji if they should team up so that they can beat up those 2. Caesar is quite careful in choosing his fights as we have seen on punk hazard. So i think that if the 2 actually teamed up they could have done something. This is still pure conjecture but it's possible imo

I think this is the answer to that. When Vergo was entering full body armament mode, Doflamingo was saying to Law to remember when he angered Vergo back then. And back then Vergo was shown angry & in full body armament mode.

What I was discussing was whether or not full body armament mode makes, let's say, your punches stronger than armament punches when they are the only portion of your body that is imbued with armament haki, but Galaxy helped in this argument in the above post. -
Full body armament probably doesn't make ones punch any stronger. As a matter of fact I will say no it does not. Only that it just offers more protection and it's great for intimidation.

Punching someone with an armored fist does more damage, yeah. But that doens't mean you have to be wearing armor on your whole body for that punch.

that's certainly true but if there isn't a method to concentrate all your haki in your fist then the full body haki armor is probably the only way to use all the haki you have and therefore your attack power rises as well

We already saw that there is a downside for full body or near full body CoA haki, and that is when we saw Luffy in Gear 4. Luffy had to use almost full body CoA haki in Gear 4, and he had to wait 10 minutes after he burned out his haki. To me haki is like a muscle in which you have to work with it on a consistent basis to expand that muscle so you can eventually hold CoA haki over greater lengths.

I thought this was another interesting theory about the wedding from Alpha2late17, although I'm not sure I buy the Lvneel Kingdom part that was mentioned in another theory as well.

I've seen a lot of people wishing to see someone (Luffy sometimes) in full body armament, but full body armament does not make a person offensively stronger than when he has, say, only his arm clad in armament haki. When a proficient haki user enters full body armament, he does so to protect himself from danger.
When Vergo entered full body armament, he did so to avoid getting cut by Law(bottom-right panel).

When Pica entered full body armament, he did so to avoid being harmed by Zoro(top-right panel.Edit: But now that I remember, it was pretty strange to see Vergo to enter full body armament when he was attacking Rocinante if all that full body armament does is provide protection from attacks.

Was it a precaution against Rocinante's attacks? Or was it because full body armament does more than mere protection from upcoming attacks?Isn't it obvious? Such a great defense makes your skin tough and thus is good for offense. It's just like CP9 abilities except via Haki instead.

I do think this "marraige arc" is going to link up with the cliffhanger at the end of Thriller Bark with Lola returning in the future. How that goes about, however, is anybody's guess.

I remember people speculating that Duval was Morgan, or that Jack was Morgan, etc… but I guess names tend to be pretty solid. I guess if they both have different names, then they must be different people.
