I'm even more convinced now that they won't have to defeat Jack to save Zunisha and the Minks and that the arc is almost over. 2 or 3 more chapters left IMO before Luffy leaves to meet Sanji.
A lot of important info. While I'm excited to see Marco join the fight against Kaidou, I hope he doesn't "steal" a fight against the 3 calamities from the young guys (Zoro, Sanji and maybe Law/Drake).
About Momo's line about Roger, I think he's just talking about Ace's visit to Wano. He could have just misunderstood/misheard his father referring to him as Roger's son.

Finally, I'm really glad that Nami, Chopper and Brook are joining Luffy. I don't mind another crew separation since those three are going with Luffy.
I don't think the Tea Party arc will be as small as people think. Not Dressrosa long but probably close to 2 years IMO with at least 2 flashbacks (Sanji's and Jinbe's).My only hope is that the MarimoHats won't have as much adventure as the SwirlyHats to tell Luffy and the others when they meet again in Wano.
And one random prediction. I think that Franky will make prosthetic limbs for Inu and Neko.

But I have to admit a lot of Zoro's opponents almost "made friends" with Zoro after their defeat.

To make it completely clear what it looks like to me, I'll give an example.
This is the pic you posted. We have some substance with dots, that stretches on both sides of aft superstructure. Underneath is something that looks like bunch of straws.

EDIT: Also, now that I think about it, the image is too blurry to conclude it's not one big egg covered by aft superstructure and rear mast. So maybe the baby dragon hasn't hatched yet after all.

Such a good chapter. What I like the most is the future split of the strawhats. Now the list of all the things that have to get done before the most probable battle against Kaido it's in the end like a bad sign for Jack. It's like he's not going to last much longer, or at least, he'll have to run away again.
Just to nitpick, I thought the end would have been better if we didn't know that Jack was intent on attacking Zunisha itself.
Either strategy was possible. This choice made for two dramatic chapter endings consecutively; if Oda had gone the other route, the ending of the previous chapter would have been the beginning of the next chapter, or somewhat more in the middle. So the first problem I run into with the alternative is the lack of tension in the ending of the previous chapter. Secondly, I think Oda wanted us to be able to focus on the tension of Luffy hearing the voice, more-so than also having to wonder what Zunisha is crying about. Of course many would have speculated it to be Jack anyways, but I think Oda wanted us to focus on that aspect.
Also, when will Greg's podcast be exactly and how will I be able to listen to it? Since I'm a European I might not be able to experience it live.
EDIT: I've pretty much been convinced that BB will be the final villain after all, especially in relation to the fluidity of the title of Pirate King and how it is an idea more-so than reaching Raftel and instantly getting that title. Still having some trouble visualising how things will play out, but that is natural.
Awesome chapter, seems Luffy can understand the elephant like he understood the sea kings and we got people who knew roger who want to talk! Also yay! I was right that the twirly hats are gonna go with Luffy, I hope we get a brook fb. Tonnes of funny gags this week and set up, I really want to see what happened between cat viper and dog storm, also I wonder how the confrontation with jack will go. Omg I was so happy to hear about Marco too. This feels like real progress and Zou is becoming one of my favourite arcs since the time skip.
About predictions for the next arcs, this is all conjecture:
cat and dog will have to work together to fight jack and I think jinbei will show up at the wedding to join the crew, the fi bomb will go off mid ceremony and Lola's card will prevent any major fight with big mom, meaning that she'll let them go this time. I just don't think the tea party will be a super long arc with a yonko fight but Luffy may get a copy of big moms poneglyph. Idk what will happen to sanji but I think we may get a reason for why he won't hit a woman.
Regarding wano its super cool the white beards may join us, this reinforces the assumption that it will be a long arc. I also believe there will be a water 7 like confrontation between Luffy and Zoro over luffy's decision to go after Sanji, somthing bad may happen when he was gone. I think an argument like that will be solved by the end of the arc but Zoro will finally be challenged in wano and he may be shown to have kings haki to further parallel Rayleigh.
Finally I think revive the will occur immediately after wano.
The fact that the elephants age was mentioned when we first saw it made me think that it had some knowledge of the Void Century or Oda wouldn't have specifically told us the elephants age right off the bat. Luffy hearing it was bound to happen at some point. There must be a story behind that elephant I mean it's practically walking on water.
Momonosuke seemed quite serious when he said he met Roger. Maybe he met Ace since it's known Ace visited Wano Country, someone has already mentioned this theory earlier. I wonder if Momo formed a friendship with Ace somehow, it would certainly make Luffy's will to help Momo even stronger.
Have to say Inuarashi and Nekomamushi are two awesome allies for the Straw Hats. They both know some major characters and know the seas. I wouldn't be surprised if they joined the Straw Hats like they did with the Roger and Whitebeard Pirates. It's good to hear an update on the Whitebeard Pirates, bad to know that they're so fucked up now. Luffy recognising Marco with a pineapple had me laughing. There was some good humour in this chapter.
I don't know if someone mentioned this before but, do you think that marco or the rest of Whitebeards commanders lost their DF to teach?

WB pirates probably retreated on time after seeing they were the losing side. At that point they were probably all too aware BB knows how to steal devil fruits. Why give him free presents if there's a chance you can still help defeating him in the future.

I can see Zoro and Mihawk have a last Little "comparison of power" where both go all out, but it might end with a tie or a Close victory for Zoro. The Person that kills Mihawk in the end will be Shiliew and Zoro will take revenge on him for killing his Mentor, or he will have to defend his title if he has beaten Mihawk.

Maybe BB has an Ultra move like Law's eternal life-move that can extract DF even from living People. I don't get it anyway why they put that towel over the dead WB. I am pretty sure Doffy got Ace' fruit from the war when Ace died.
We saw it on Panel what happens with DFs once their user died (Smile the Axolotl anyone?).

He can stop them using their fruit while they're alive but he has to kill them to steal their fruits. (if he could steal them when the user is alive he could have just stolen whitebeard's fruit when aojiki froze whitebeard)

Not sure why you would be so disappointed. Though One Piece is long, it is still fairly condensed considering the amount of things Oda has the potential of working with. The Straw Hats do in three days what takes others three years; if they ever achieve it. Imagine how long One Piece would be if they traveled through each island until the end, then had to backtrack. And then how would they have found Zou? I'm perfectly happy with the way Oda is doing things. He's making it so the Straw Hats can achieve their goals in one journey. We still get to see a lot of the world, and we still have nothing less of that journey experience of seeing more each island. I can understand that you have a bit of a feeling of "oh, so there's nothing at that last island for us… okay...", but you have to admit, before this chapter we didn't even know that "last" island was there; we thought Raftel was the last island. Oda removed the point to that last island before ever even introducing it. So I don't really see how he could have done better. (edit: well this is kind of assuming that there is nothing on that final island anymore. I think not, but who knows, maybe there is still a point to them going there. Wouldn't know what, but we'll have to see.)
The crew splitting up allows Oda to resolve many plot points in a shorter timespan. Be glad that the right members are joining Luffy; they will get their spotlights now.

Now the whole "Wano Kuni is isolated" and "not even marines step a foot on Wano Kuni" makes sense and why leaving Wano Kuni is a crime.
I guess the Shogun(s) had an Agreement with the WG, that those Masons must never leave Wano Kuni (otherwise info bout the ancient language would spread) and for Exchange the WG lets Wano Kuni be (Independent and isolated).

Jozu will be dead and his fruit stolen the only reason for Marco and some of the whitebeard pirates to be alive is if they ran away or if blackbeard tried to recruit them then they ran away.

I don't think all the whitebeard pirates escaped since some were killed for their fruits like jozu and others joined as allies to stay alive but marco must still be alive for weavil and his mom to want to hunt marco down i am guessing marco said he would join blackbeard in exchange for sparing the remaining whitebeard pirates but then ran away with them when blackbeard was not watching or he could have just got away by himself since he can fly.

OK, so now I got this straight:
At the end of the road, the last Island in the NW you learn bout the mystery of the Poneglyph and the ancient writings, then you gotta find the four Road Poneglyphs to bring you to Raftel. I hope that works now. And since Luffy has Robin in his Crew and already even deciphered the first road poneglyph, the journy to the last isle became redundant. But they can still travel there. Just for fun. Would fit with Luffy IMO.

If CC knows then Vegapunk should know too, right? And marines as well? I'm guessing parts of the structure do know about it. The ones that need to know anyway. Sensitive information needs to be contained, after all.
Anyway, at this point, I think stealing fruit doesn't have anything to do with BB's fruit. So, we saw BB hid what he was doing from everyone, we saw how CC recycled DF on PH, we saw Burgess planned to steal Luffy's fruit without BB around. That's enough for me.
There's still stuff to do on the last island, the strawhats(and the readers) just happen to have gotten the big info ahead of time. There's still something relevant to their quest there, or else they'd be told not to bother.

From a narrative standpoint, its good because its setting up the search and objective now, giving an incentive to deal with the emperors… instead of spending the next five or six years having random minor adventures, getting to the last island, and THEN going oh wait, there's still this to do..." It's still on the way and there's still other poneglyphs, but it's not actually Raftel.
They might think there's something redundant about it, but there absolutely WILL be something special when they get there.

I very much doubt any of that is even remotely true.
WB Pirates re proud of who they are. None of them would ever ally themselves with BB and betray old man WB in the process. They were fiercely loyal to him, they went into battle against the World government for him.

If CC knows then Vegapunk should know too, right? And marines as well? I'm guessing parts of the structure do know about it. The ones that need to know anyway. Sensitive information needs to be contained, after all.
Anyway, at this point, I think stealing fruit doesn't have anything to do with BB's fruit. So, we saw BB hid what he was doing from everyone, we saw how CC recycled DF on PH, we saw Burgess planned to steal Luffy's fruit without BB around. That's enough for me.
I am with you there. I also think that stealing WB's fruit didn't Need the Yami Yami no mi.
The big Question is: If the user dies, does the ability go to the next fruit available? Or was Smiley's case just a big coincidence and a fruit on the other side of the planet could have been "infected" with the ability as well? If the first possibility is the rule, then I can tell how Doffy got his Hands on Ace' DF.

I very much doubt any of that is even remotely true.
WB Pirates re proud of who they are. None of them would ever ally themselves with BB and betray old man WB in the process. They were fiercely loyal to him, they went into battle against the World government for him.
If any of you wonders how BB could defeat the invincible WBs, how about this:
BB was a WB-member for DECADES, that means he knows every Division commander inside out. So he also knew about certain weaknesses of each commander.
