That was pretty interesting and cool, my favorite part was the author making even more race swaps. Namari being horny on main was also great, I had a good laugh.
That said, I didn´t like the little halfling in Kabru´s party calling himself Kuro´s owner, it feels wrong to treat the guy like a dog.
Kabron party is all kinds of fucked up.

i was REALLY tense most of the chapter, the author has such an easy time to pull me into this universe.

yes it was a really tensed chapter. It's that time where you really don't know how they can get out of it.
Really good chapter, I am looking foward to the next to see how they get out of this one.
And damn, Laios explained it in the worst way possible, but then again he can really choose his words properly in that condition.

Mithrun's teleportation combat continues to be cool. So I wonder what happens now. Will Laios want to stop Marcille? I guess if why working with a demon is bad is explained to him he might.
This could have been avoided if they had let Kabru do the talking, then again it wouldn´t have been very fun to read about that.
Also, the fact that the winged Lion knows Mitrhun makes me think that he was also the goat demon, so maybe there is only one demon, but able of taking different forms.
I second that, the teleportation battle is amazing. I just hope the splash right before the demon leaves wasn't Mithrun squished against a wall : he's a fun guy to have around, so if this was what I think at least I'm hoping someone will resurrect him.
I'm a little confused, however, at how easily Marcille is being played by the White Lion. Especially after everything we've learned on dungeons. Unless Laius & co never heard Kabru's tale which was only ever told to the reader ?
She might eventually be able to do something for Farlyn thanks to her new status, but hell if it isn't a dangerous path to tread…
Mithrun is okay and non-squished on the last page. He switched himself with one of the spiders or something I guess and the spider is what went squish. And Marcille has shown to be willing to do dangerous things to get what she wants. Like when she revived Falin. She's falling into exactly what a demon does, try and lure people in with the promise of making their wildest dreams come true. And while Marcille isn't dumb she's also not really portrayed as the smartest person in the world.

Completely agreed on Marcille. In retrospect I don't think she heard Kabru's dungeon tale at all (will go back and check eventually), so it would make sense that she is easily manipulated by the demon.

I guess they're one of the canaries. They didn't go down with the rest after Laios I guess. If you look at the page they were first introduced they might be one of them. Kind of a nothing chapter. Just characters reacting to the dungeon changes.
I find it incredible ryoko kui can keep finding new plotlines and ideas to continue the story whenever the ending is seemingly at reach (reviving falin, finding the dungeon master etc), but at the same time keeping it fresh and organic.
Can't wait to see what madness marcille will cook up with her new dungeon!
Man, I really don't remember that chapter all that much. Either it didn't make any impression on me or my question wasn't as rhetoric as I thought and I actually missed it..

The elves really just keep making things worse by jumping to conclusions and not explaining things properly, huh. The whole thing with Marcille could have been avoided if they simply allowed Laius to explain himself and killing him now would only make her go actually mad.

Kind of sad Kensuke never played a bigger role in the story. I really do wonder how they're going to fix things, if they even do. The demon is letting them get close to Marcille but they've already tried convincing her and it didn't work. And I can't imagine the demon would let them hurt Marcille in any way. This chapter may have shown that the demon is basically a slave to human desires. Maybe the solution will involve that in some way.

I originally read a few chapters of this and found the characters (specifically almost-marysue Senshi) to be obnoxious and generally unlikeable. Went back recently and am glad I gave it a second shot. The characters improve, the writing improves, the art improves - it really comes into its own, and keeps its themes without bending over too far backwards to do so.
