It was a okay series in my opinion. But I rather if they bought back Angry Beavers, Rocko, or Zim before this series. I just hope Rocket Power doesn't return.
Nickelodeon bringing back As Told By Ginger

But why revive this at all?
The character designs were ugly as sin.

Ehh…if you were raised with rugrats, rocket power (ugh), the show with Nigel Thornberry in it, and ahh real monsters, then the designs shouldn't be a problem at all. The issue lies with the fact that this show was just..."meh". There's so many better shows that really ought to be revived (at least they got Hey Arnold but...ehh...).
-
Well, that's an… interesting move. I mean it wasn't a bad show or anything, but it's not quite what comes to mind when I think about Nick series I'd really want back. I really don't remember what topics Ginger covered aside from being a female-perspective cartoon drama, but I guess they have an interesting chance to deal with identity issues (gender, sexuality, etc...) that have become a lot more visible and relevant since the show's initial airing.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . shrug

My sister and I really liked this show because it was one of the only cartoons where the characters actually had different outfits and would rotate their wardrobe. Also we really liked the opening. We would watch any show that had a good opening no matter how terrible it was but we did enjoy As told by Ginger quite a bit. I remember Ginger's best friend being the worst though, she'd sellout her friends for a slice of cheese.

Pretty sure this is fake. The source they listed is apparently pretty notorious for writing bullshit articles like this in an attempt to get people to look at his art and/or watch his crap on Youtube.

Might just be me, but Viacom lately is getting very desperate to the point of banking on older shows like this, even if they weren't even that big. So I guess this might actually mean yet another return of a few of those Klasky-Csupo shows…which I never ever really cared for in the first place aside from the first run of Rugrats
Though the thing with the shows the TC listed (aside from RP) is that those ended on bad terms with Nick, so the likelihood of getting any of the original staff involved is slim to none. Other shows will likely get rebooted or revived instead

I can definitely see that as well. It's why stuff like The Splat exists.
And yeah, I'm doubting the authenticity of this until proven otherwise. That MoviePilot website isn't reliable at all.

This is fake. Genuinely surprised so many of you feel for this.
-
Makes a more sense that it's fake. Especially in that K-C has long since retired from producing new programming and it would take a lot to try to get them back in the game.

As already point out, it's fake, but I will say that just shifting the mouths up towards the middle of their faces make the designs much less hideous.

Ick thanks for reminding me of that.

I think the news struck us as too unimportant to be scrutinized.
