My starter will probably be Litten, but Rowlet is so damn cute. I will be torn.
I keep looking at the moon legendary and smiling, she's so perfect. I love this moon bat. I love poke polynesia.
Now I'm just praying, praying praying that Litten keeps the bipedalism of literally every other fire starter pokemon in their evolutions so we get something as good as Braixen or Blaziken, except a cat.
And then she's my #1 fave pokemon of all time.
Just when I thought I was done playing Pokemon GameFreaks pulls me back in. I'm definitely picking up Sun cause that legendary design is rawesome.

Yup, I booted up Y for a bit and things like the slow black loading fade transition when going into major menus should not be a thing.
Menus in 2016 should be instantaneous(although I get it may be due technical limitation but in all seriousness figure it out, this is fundamental, it's as bonkers to me as Nintendo needing almost a decade to catch up on account systems).
Not to mention on the other dozen of little things of where you can cut down navigations paths or change UI order based on usage frequency etc etc.

At least for the mons, I'm leaning towards the water type.
So I guess we now have a Pokémon equivalent of Thousand Sunny (and of Thriller Bark maybe?)
The last water type I liked was Piplup and he only turns into the disappointment that is Empoleon. :sad:
That's the First time in a Pokemon Gen that I Love all three starters of.
Luckily I'll get both versions so Rowlet and Litten it'll be

I heard the Kalos region was united under the Empoleon empire.
I love the location, especially having spent a semester in Tahiti recently. They'll probably focus specifically on Hawaii but seeing representations of different Polynesian cultures would be pretty cool. Fingers crossed that the professor's (who looks great btw) name is Professor Hibiscus.
Indifferent towards the starters. They remind me too strongly of Dream Eaters from Kingdom Hearts: DDD but with less exciting designs.

You should take a look at bats again their claws are not on their wings. Anatomy makes too much sense for that.
Beside that I'm not basing my distaste of the design on how real animals look anyway after all we live in a post Garbordor world.

So what could it be the reason for the placement of this truck:
a) Humanity evolved from abusing just cabs and Gogoats
b) That's the only actual truck in the whole game and they just wanted to show off

Also I have to correct myself. Froakie was pretty ok as a water starter after all can't hate something that turns into Greninja.
So I'm the only one who's going to choose his starter not giving a damn about how it look like when it evolves? I spoiled myself the final evolutions for the 3 Kalos starters, and yet I still chose Chespin despite Greninja had the coolest design.
This time around I'm going to just spoil myself the first evolution and that's it, the rest I will make sure to avoid until the day of release.
