Actually, I do think I've done most of that! Including all the Pandaman's secret back cover story starting in volume 25.
All except number 5 and 7.
And that's mostly on my inability to learn Japanese, (and also not being in Japan) despite my desire to. I've put too much exp into other avenues. I also can't play piano. Both skills I'd love to have but can't quite make the time or energy to starting to learn them now.
I guess by that same token I haven't technically done 6. But i watched 6 and listened to your summary of it on the podcast, so I was able to follow it!

Greg, the recent way of Oda's storytelling (aka skipping some stuff)… Is it because it would take a lot of time if he were to show everything? Or is it because that's how Kabuki or some japanese movies have that same style of storytelling?

1. The giant Captain Hajrudin said he wanted to reform the giant pirates for a new era, but Big Mom said in her flashback that if she had the giants backing her up she'd easily have beaten the other Yonko and become the pirate king. My question is, if Hajrudin somehow manages to reform the pirates in the elbaf arc, and they have hundreds of giants (instead of the measly five he has now) how would someone like Black Beard be able to compete with Luffy? if what Big Mom said is true that should make Luffy the strongest, How would someone like Black Beard compete with him…. maybe an ancient weapon? or maybe he recruits the rest of the level six prisoners (that would seem weird though, since he had them fight to the death and all, and only wanted the strongest ones) what's your opinion on this
2. And will any more groups join the grand fleet? Most people seem to think yes, because of Usopp's lie about having 8,000 followers and there quite a bit off as it is right now, but who would join there ranks, the minks and samurai? Or maybe Pekoms and Carrot would join as captains of the nox pirates and carry on Pedro's legacy? what do you think?

It's got nothing to do with Kabuki, he's been doing that heavily since the war at least. (And a little bit since Water 7) And while you could chalk it up to just being the chaos of the war at the time, once we got to Fishman Island he constantly started off paneling fights and secondary character actions. For instance, the three princes fighting Hody's goons was off camera and just mentioned. It's entirely something he's doing so that the story can move forward. If he focused on all 8000 plot threads and characters he introduces every arc like he used to, we'd still be in Dresserossa right now.
Of course, if the anime was a higher quality they'd take advantage of those things that Oda just giftwraps to them and use it as filler content, (along with cover stories) but instead they tend to take one or two characters and run gags into the ground instead or organically fleshing out the world and showing more action and side stuff.

Just because Big Mom thinks it doesn't make it so. Moria thought having Oars would make him unstoppable and that having an all Zombie crew would keep him from ever losing someone again. And yet Oars is gone and Absalom is dead.
Giants are certainly a force to be reckoned with, sure, but every time we've ever seen them int eh series they've mostly served as fodder to be taken down by someone a fraction of their size. Narratively, they would mostly serve to showcase how strong the enemy is, rather than be a legit major force.

As they do it with nobodies and asap, they translated davos "she can't see us" as "sicansios" just like that, it means nothing, transistor didn't catch Davos' accent, and just said "he's just cursing".
They also did some weird things with hold the door.

I don't think all of the Giants of Elbaf are as united as some think. I don't even think the strongest of them are the pirates that Hajrudin is gathering or the ones we've formerly met in the story so far.
If marrying through Loki was the key to a powerful union, maybe those powerful enough aren't the pirates and maybe those serving under the royals of Elbaf.

I think you're absolutely right to doubt the cohesiveness of the giants. At one point I thought Elbaf could be cooldown arc but I'm not sure that will be the case anymore.

I've always thought there was something fishy with that Lola/Loki marriage. Isn't it weird that any giant would even approach a daughter of Big Mom considering the reputation she has in Elbaf? Besides, not to be rude, but Lola doesn't strike me as the type people fall in love at first sight with. Considering Loki's name inspiration, I think this might all have been a plot to use the power of Big Mom to take over Elbaf or something. And maybe we'll see another attempt in the current story.

For what it's worth, the Scandinavian countries during the Viking Age didn't exactly have the most stable enviroment. Norway, for example, was divided up between petty kings and jarls for centuries.
