Got the game a few weeks ago, finally started playing it yesterday (been playing DOOM and Pirate Warriors 3 until now).
It's a really fun game especially to finally be able to "use" DF abilities in a more direct way.
Just dipped my toe into the "Wanted Poster" rewards fights and I got REKT by Koala about three times in a row.
Is this a "get gud" moment, does Koala kick all kinds of ass, or is it a combo of both?Just a question from a "new guy".

Well… Koala has some great long combos for sure. If your characters have low levels it can be hard to deal with difficult fights (you deal less damages and lose your life faster).

That's kind of disappointing. Lucci is no big surprise and I'm glad that at least Caesar turned out to be in it, but why Garp?With Cavendish, Pink, Vivi, Kaku, etc. there have been much more interesting choices. No offense to Garp, but I think his fighting Style is kinda boring..

I agree, we had these characters playable in Pirate Warriors 3. I would of liked to see different characters like Kaku and Vivi

No and that's exactly the point. Despite some Punches we haven't seen anything, but I'm pretty sure he's going to be some kind of wrestling type of character. Like PW2 and 3.We had some questionable choices so far (Sengoku, Drake, Kid), but yet again a Character we haven't seen much? Furthermore I don't share they hype for his character, neither

Drake can turn into a dinosaur, Sengoku can turn into a gold statue that shoots beams and Kid have magnetic powers. You can make a pretty good movesets just with this information. And this isn't even the first game Drake and Kid were playable.

I never said that Drake, Kid und Co. were bad choices...I just said that they were questionable (compared to characters who showed actual a lot of moves & we've seen in fights, for example the whole CP9, Caesar, Vergo, Mone and the other members of the Donquixote Family). Furthermore I thin that they made a pretty solid moveset for Drake und Kid. (Sengoku is the only one I don't like, but that's a personal thing).My only point was that I don't understand why people wanted to see Garp in the game, who hasn't shown as much yet. I totally get that it's POSSIBLE to make a solid moveset for him, but I still think that there were better options on that list (Vergo, Señor Pink, etc.). So I don't understand why you want to argue with me about my personal opinion?

Hmmm… can't say I'm surprised with the new DLC characters since they're all pretty much playable on PW3. Really wish they would've announced a character we still haven't seen playable in recent games. Sad that not a single female got enough votes but oh well.

We have a fighting type, gas type, and rock type.I know some people are disappointed your favorite character, consider about certain characters should be in the game because they never been playable or not enough female characters in the game. Keep in mind we still have 2 DLC slots left that might be new playable or a promotion for the gold film. It's 50/50 chance. Cross your fingers.

Out of the top of my head? Yeah pretty much. And yeah there are pretty much 2 more DLC slots available. Hopefully it'll be new characters instead of just costumes, but I'm expecting the latter.

Oh wow, I knew Lucci would make it no matter what but the other two are a surprise! I don't mind, they both will be pretty awesome to play as. I thought Burgess was a ton of fun so having another grappler in Garp will be great.

More panels doesn't mean a better choice. The same could be said to characters like Kuro, Don Krieg and Arlong.(That it was a choice btw).

I don't really arguing about your personal opinion, but just saying that just because Garp didn't had a chance to show enough action it doesn't mean he is a bad choice either. At least people were smart enough in not voting Rebecca.

I'm ecstatic that Garp made it into Burning Blood. I'll never understand why Spike left Garp out in the story mode and gave Akainu his role. I expected Lucci, but I didn't expect Caesar so I'm curious as to how his moveset will be like. I guess a playable Coby is nothing more than a dream…

There aren't any gas types in Pokemon there are Poison types…...which Caesar techinally isn't but Magellan is.

Welp, there's always next time Magellan. Garp and Lucci really should have been in the base game already to be fair(Garp for a more complete Marineford story and Lucci because…well fighting is kind of his thing) so I'm not disappointed. Ceasar is shockingly popular it seems but his fruit should make for fun movesets.

I totally agree with this. They should just use the same costume system they did for Akainu, Kizaru, Aokiji, Jimbei…. Hope they will correct it in a patch or do it in a sequel...

It's an alternate costume for Bon Clay. Tesoro's face is like a mix of Crocodile, Zoro and Ener XD

Kind of preferred that the Nami & Robin Costumes were the Leather Outfits from Film Gold. But hopefully the devs are generous enough to give more then those 3 costumes but I will just wait and watch to see what happens

Honestly, I find that to be an incredibly stupid thing for them to do as it really makes no damn sense as they could have simply did what YamiNoTenshi suggested which is what I also think they should have done. -_-

Yea, The Devs probably should make a big costume pack that has all 3 outfits (the ones seen in The 10 minute prequel episode 0,Leather,White) of each Strawhat from the Film Gold Movie.
