I really wish I had your confidence in such a nice surprise happening with the Impel Down gang.
I'm imagining Ivankov at the very least will put an appearance in but if Daz, Bentham and (especially) Galdino appear this is shooting straight to the top of my most wanted games for 2016.

I think the text on the website says that you can select 3 characters from playables and support, so the supports one counts like a "slot". Maybe @sandman can confirm it.
Below the image says some examples of support effects : stamina recovery, steps time reductions, etc -

The Trailer is superb. And the Marineford Story Mode is well narrated
I mean, Squardo…
So, the trailer confirms Teach playable.
And Buggy, Ivankov and Shanks are in tooMore importantly, Crocodile's hair are well datailed
The problem is why we only see Teach in Marineford scene? I mean they included Squardo but not Blackbeard's crew?

Trailer is epic, really good made but it shows not how the Game plays in Detail. Trailers for J Stars were epic too but actuall Gameplay was not so great as Trailers promised. But the Marineford Mode seems to be great and Detailed.

Oh for fu…goodness sake. Those executioners certainly don't resemble Galdino in disguise at all.
Once again Ace somehow frees himself from seastone handcuffs; first Pirate Warriors 3, then Episode of Sabo and now Burning Blood.

MR. 3 WASN'T THERE GUYS. HE DID NOT OPEN THE CUFFS AT ALL. ACE JUST MAGICALLY FREED HIMSELF FROM THE CUFFS YET AGAIN.For crying out loud. I just want the guy to get his credit, he did more pivotal work on saving Ace than most of the other allies. Guess him and Daz are relegated to support only again.
I wouldn't rule Garp out the running just yet though. Maybe they're keeping him back for a surprise reveal? Seems like he's an obvious inclusion within the war arc so it'd be incredibly odd to see him miss out here.
Lastly... they went to the effort of modelling Squardo? ...is he a playable? That's a rather peculiar choice if so.

Dammit, I thought it was just coy editing. Garp's really missing out too, huh?
Mr. 3 and Mr. 1 once again get the short end of the stick despite their participation in the war. Kinda saddening considering they both have pretty interesting devil fruits that would of been great to play as.

Well, the trailer shows us Luffy running on the broken bridge. On themanga/anime, that happens after Luffy punches Garp, and that's why bridge is collapsing. Be hopeful!

I find it pretty amazing that we are getting the Marineford Edition with 2 figures and I haven't even heard of a collector's for a Naruto game even though it's way more popular than One Piece in the west.

Website also has been updated, the most interesting thing i found was that luffy has a (2 years ago) emblem on his name, im not sure if this means we"ll be getting other 2 years ago characters cough PTS Strawhats cough but i would for sure keep an eye on that

The East Blue villains were so cool, I want to use them…

Not only that they have promised Charakters that were never playable before, they promised something about 50 Charakters.
By now we have Bartolomeo, Burgess, Sengoku, Kid and X-Drake as really new playable charakteres (compared to the pirate warriors series or unlimited world red).
I can't believe that they are skipping mr. 2 and mr.3. Those Charakteres have a huge fanbase und when they're including even Squardo. They have to be in.I'm a little bit disappointed that they're only 2 Months until the release and we haven't really got much beside the whole Marineford-thing. I admit that I'm not a big fan of Marineford and I'm hoping at least for Cavendish, Baby 5, Mone, Caesar and Kalifa being playable.
Hopefully there will be many scans the next weeks. -

For some reason I though this was coming out in the begining of March, it's only in April we have time then yeah, but if they go forward, its going to be Fishman, Punk Hazard and Dressrosa characters.

Don't know if it's been pointed out but why would Luffy be in 2nd Gear on the bridge, didn't he go into that mode specifically to hit Garp? He could still be in the game, personally i'm not entirely fussed if he doesn't make it playable, never been that into his style of fighting in previous games.

If you are referring to when luffy first landed on marineford from the sky, then hope isnt all lost, because it turns out that in the manga and anime when luffy, ivankov, crocodile, and jimbei are standing up looking at marineford, Mr. 1 wasnt in that shot either…so maybe all hope isnt lost, i think it would be a cruel joke to make a reference to a character and they not even make an appearence in the game, but if he isnt playable then i would assume he might be a support with an anime still frame

Marineford is perhaps the most battle oriented arc in One Piece (Dressrosa is pretty battle oriented too, but Marineford has more big names).
It's reasonable to think that they'd put more effort into that arc compared to the others.
I personally feel we've got plenty of characters already. We have almost all the big players (only Garp and Magellan are missing I think) and several lesser players.
I'd also love to get Mr.s 1, 2 and 3, but it's fine if they don't make it in. Magellan has to get in somehow, and I've ashtrays thought of Bartolomeo as a pair with Cavendish.FC(3DS) - 2724-4238-5489 (LZTan)

Even if the only arc Burning Blood covers is Marineford I think that's more than enough when you consider all the playable characters available. This is probably the first of a series of games we will be receiving with the subtitle "Burning Blood" from the way Bandai's marketing it worldwide. So I think the content is worth a full price purchase for a fighting game IMO.

Marineford is more significant than Fishman Island and Punk Hazard. I guess we will have 2 weeks more of Marineford then Fishman Island and then Punk Hazard then Dressrosa till release

I'm surprised Burgess is not in those shots with Blackbeard seeing as he is playable. And man i really want this game now but i don;t have a PS4 or Xbox One :O. Maybe it will have to be PC :/. Does it have an international release date yet?

Yep confirmed on pc and out in North America -May 31st and EU- June 3rd

I'm not sure about the gameplay but the game its self to be too focused on Marineford. Where does the game start and end? Is there going to be a season pass?
