Jump Festa Website just opened for the 2016 event. It'll span from December 19/20.
One Piece Stage will be happening but no details on who will be attending just yet.

Oda was embarrassed when he was asked to say something about the future story of ONE PIECE.
Oda: "Strawhats will lose a nakama next year…"
Voice actors and audience were shocked at his words.
Zoro's voice actor asked Oda if Zoro would die in the fight against Mihawk next year.
Oda: "Anyway, I promise that everyone will be fulfilled after the arc finished."
After his statement, ONE PIECE fanbase was thrown into turmoil... A famous actor made a phone call to Oda's editor.

If Oda don't come, then i guess it's only the voice actors who will do the show (though i love them) i expect news and interesting ones!

I'm in Jump Festa. According to Oda, next year is Sanji's year. He says in a letter that Sanji's mysterious birh wi be revealed.
Let's just hope that Oda doesn't pull a Kubo, where it's the fullbringer arc and Chad will have more relevance:ninja:
On a more serious note, seems weird that we will be getting an idea of Sanji's birth. There was never a time where it seemed important, and saying that is the only reason to believe that he can be a world noble or something important. On the other hand, we can get some Sanji action and have Kishido return to us.
Though I have to wonder about the reveal part. There have been a number of times where Oda claimed something and it happened much later than expected.

I don't get it, is Sanji born on the same day as the pirate king or why the heck would it count that much for them to give him alive only bounty.

I truly hope that Oda do not troll us with Sanji backstory.
I hope this Sanji stuff ends up being something way off from the prince speculation. It's almost too easy to put together. At least his character will maybe be redeemed.

Whaaaaat?? He actually dropped that kind of bombshell in future development?
That alone proves that the poster links to his mysterious homeland. Is his current mission related to this? Seems more possible, but I'm thinking his current mission may later transition into his origins story.
Is he descended from a royal bloodline? A lost civilization like Robin? Whichever, I'd guess he either has no memory of his prior life or that it wasn't anything very traumatic–he has never dwelt on his past so it must have been fairly "normal" for him.
So far the only other Straw Hats with no known birthplace is Luffy, Nami and Brook. Luffy's is obviously not going to be revealed for a very long time, but Brook's may be explored in due time. Heck, his life before becoming a pirate is more or less entirely unknown. Probably a bit irrelevant since most any possible kin have to be dead right now, it still has some merit (if handled right)

I'm calling it right now! Sanji was born a noble but his parents gave him up to a North Blue orphanage for currently unknown reasons when he was still a baby at the time.

i always thought him mentioning that he is from north blue in jaya is interesting. I'm glad we will finally get a sanji arc!!!
One thing we know for sure is that Sanji is from a rich family and he is spoiled brat.
I went back and read the chapters of Sanji starving with Zeff, and in one of the chapters Sanji had a flashback to how he was wasting foods, he ordered the cooks on his ship to throw away leftovers..
And the thing Sanji said to Kuma, I will be the one to cause the most trouble.. Majority of the readers laughed at it thinking its Sanji sprouting nonsense to look as important as Zoro.
I bet most of you have forgotten this scene but it seems Oda has planned out Sanji story a long time now.

You know what? I rather have the old theory that Sanji is the son of the blonde gorosei, then sanji as son of some random noble/king/CD that we never saw before and is some low importance character.
Would show the relation of the SH with the old names in the world. Luffy son of dragon, sanji son of gorosei.

If he is part of an important royal family, then that's a huge reason to have him as "only alive".

Close, but i think Sanji's mom is Miss Bakkin (the reveal the she's blonde on the cover of volume 80 maybe is a hint). No clue about the father, could be anyone from blond Gorosei, to Jack to WB at this point (and WB was blond too in his youth :ninja:).
