Z and Shiki are canon do to Oda writing them into the history of the manga.
However their movies are not.

But Zephyr isn't in the history of the manga. Only Shiki is mentioned in the pages of the manga.
He's just a non-canon character who was given connections to canon characters, but these connections have no bearing on the overall story.
Z has never been written in the history of the manga. Anime, sure. Also yeah he was an Executive Producer but he didn't even write Film Z… He had influence but clearly knew it was Toei's film and not part of his world. Why else would anyone think he was ok with the anime team making their own Maring HQ design, knowing full well that in the near future he was gonna do something completely different?
I always thought that we would count the history of Z, because it seemed his timeline fit the story, but we never really used the movie at all.
Wasn't this the hype for Weeble?
Already loving Robin's out!!!

In reality Oda himself declared Strong World as Luffy's last 17-adventure, so it happens to be canon. This even foreshadowed the timeskip way before Ace's death.
Z's film instead is completely noncanon.
In this movie, the Straw Hats visit a bondage club.
So looking at the images, it looks like Masayuki Sato's the character designer/animation director yet again.
Zoro and Sanji look soo weird with those black gloves on. And based on the small sketch on the bottom right, it doesn't look like Franky has any new super hair styles either Hopefully, like the other movies, they have more than one outfit

The quote was "And as far as something that will hold true for both the comic and the anime, this will be Luffy's last adventure as a 17 year-old". This doesn't really mean anything canonically though, as it was just referring to what was going on in the movie storyline and the manga storyline compared to the real world timeline. If taken literally, it would mean Luffy turned 18 between Thriller Bark and Sabaody, which we know isn't true.
Strong World has other issues though that make it unable to fit. Zoro's injuries from Thriller Bark aren't prevalent, Brook's "first fight" with the Straw Hats is said to be at Duval's base, and the events are never actually mentioned in the manga to have happened.

Based on the two previous sketches with Luffy, there should be two other different outfits for the Straw Hats.
Nami's outfits the best as always.
Cool work, Sergi. It seems accurate enough.
when we will get the trailer? normally it should be around this month… (4-5 months before the opening date)
I hope that the strawhats have like several outfits in the movie.
something like
Nami & Robin:
Beginning of the Movie
When they are in the golden city
Final Fight
After The Fight
the Guys:
Intro
In the golden city
Final Fight
So Franky does have a special haircut.
So Robin gets to wear this pervert trench coat, ready to flash innocent bystanders?
Meh, not liking these outfits that much.

One of those will have a tie-in to some promotional designer label no doubt.
Brook, Robin, and Sanji win this round, methinks.

I concur. Sanji in particular looks pretty good in all black and Brook reminds me of the scarecrow from Howls Moving Castle.
In my head I'm already calling this Luffy's Eleven.
Why did you repost the same scan?
I can't see them, man. ;_;
(although, I can see the Sanji one just fine for some reason)
Edit:
Okay, I can see them all just fine now. Thanks a bunch!!
Now that I seen Robin's in full view and color, I like it even more!! Everyone else's however…....are just.....meh (Although Zoro like sort of alright as well I guess).
I'm liking Usopp. Brook and Robin are also cool.
Whereas "Fire" color scheme was the order of the day in Film Z, "Tron" seems to be the theme in Gold.
this is atrocious. hope they use it shortly during the movie…
Nami looks… great
Matrix Piece Film: Pleather
Finally Robin is back to having the less revealing outfit than Nami.
Luffy with dem swag goggles tho.
this is atrocious. hope they use it shortly during the movie…
Well the strawhats usually have like around 2 to 4 outfits in the movies, so we will most likely see them in other clothes during certain parts in the movie.
Nami and Zoro best.
Franky and robin worst.
It's not clear enough but it seems Robin has blue eyes, and that surprises me.
What is the purpose of the googles?
Nami looks awful
Nami looks great as always. robin disgusting.
Alterations I would make to Nami & Robin’s Outfits
! >! >! Robin:
Lose the blue belt
Shorten the Jacket and its sleeves to a medium length
Change the blue to a more daker Blue
Change her Heels to Platform High Heels
Open the jacket and wearing a Blue Bra
! Nami:
Give her short Opera Leather Gloves
Switch the bra to a small blue tube top
Lose the waist tied jacket
Change her hairstyle to the way it was in the Filler Arc ‘Z’s Ambition’
Give her blue lens Sunglasses
It's surprising how divisive these outfits are, especially Robin's. Personally I think they look great.
Side note, were these drawn by Oda? Because everyone's legs are super long. Nami in particular looks like a member of the Long-Leg Tribe.
The outfits suck, and whats with the leather gimmick? it's kinda weird, Sanji in particular looks like the gimp from pulp fiction.
Franky is probably the only one who looks badass especially with this new haircut.
Hahaha. Reminds me of the reactions when the Z outfit designs were shown in 2012.
Lots of bitterness and moaning in that thread.
well i know we may get more outfits in the Film since of that Sketch of Luffy with the Ax could mean they will get more then 1 outfit cause they may do what they did with Film Z and make outfits that are invovled with a promo designer label.
Luffy did have like 3 outfits in Strong World and had 2 outfits in Film Z
Nami had 5 outfits in Strong World and 3 outfits in Film Z
So….
we will see more in the trailers that show film footage

I still don't really see what the big deal is. They're clothes… Are we supposed to be impressed by them? The bitter whining is pretty silly when you consider that the clothes mean absolutely nothing.
Wasn't sure about the outfits at first, but they're all already growing on me a lot. I particularly like Luffy's, Zoro's, Robin's, and Brook's. I can't say I really dislike any of them.
And yeah, Film Z's outfits were really divisive as well. Funnily enough, while I like the Z outfits as a whole better, there are fewer outfits that I dislike out of this set. I guess I liked the theme of the Z outfits better, but while I thought some of them were kind of bad, these ones have a less-great theme but better-looking individual ones, if that makes sense. All my opinion, of course.
Brook looks great in that white suit!
Those ugly outfits are obviously the opening act costumes, but the white tuxes look pretty rad. Brook, Zoro, and especially Usopp look great.
Seriously, this is probably Usopp's first movie outfit that I've liked.
