Stephen A. Smith is a buffoon at times, but he's 1000% right about this. How are you going to join the team that just beat you? He's pulling a Ray Allen in 2012, but the difference is that he's a top 3 player in the league and the cornerstone of a franchise. And I agree with his disgust of any comparisons to Lebron in 2010. This isn't comparable in any way. The Warriors have been the best team the past 2 seasons AND just beat him. What were the Heat like in 2009 and 2010?
@loneassassin:
Eh it's a smart move. He can win a title next year, opt out and head back to OKC and get the biggest contract available in 2017/18 since OKC can offer him the biggest contract even if they keep Westbrook
The only solace I can take out of this is that it's practically a one-year deal.
I'm not bought in to them running over the league and breaking the record again. They will lose depth and teams are going to go at them HARD all season. I say they fall between 65-68 wins. I can't wait for Bradley, Crowder, Smart, and Brown to give their 3 shooters hell.
I like the Warriors too, but I hope they get booed in every other arena. I despise Durant right now, but come to the Celtics in 2017 haha
@killerbee1000:
I'm cautiously optimistic about Rondo coming to the Bulls. He's a passing PG, so I know he'll spread the ball to Niko, McDermott and Snell who usually can't create their own shots. I just hope he can get along with Hoiberg and Butler.
The money is good from the Bulls standpoint(I'm surprised Rondo's agent couldn't get him more) but the fit looks horrible to me on paper.

Zaza just joined the Warriors.....

Second returns are out.
There's some head-scratchers here and th…
wait
no way
EHHHHH?!?!?!??!?
With Kobe retired, Durant in tow, and Zaza's support from his country and bandwagon fans, don't be surprised if GSW has all 3 frontcourt All-Star starters next year. If Westbrook didn't exist, they'd have a shot at the whole lineup.
