Now if something interesting would pop up in winter… absolutely nothing seems interesting, but still Osomatsu is entertaining and will still check out Aijin.

Shows

- God Eater - Loved the first set of episodes, the animation is interesting, but I like it.

• Ace Attorney - Very skeptical, but could be a fun show.
• Big Order - Seems promising and again could be a fun show.
  - Bungou Stray Dogs - Very intriguing by the premise and I have a weak spot for Bones.
• Concrete Revolutio 2nd Season - Watched the first season and it had it's ups and downs, and the constant flash forwards, flash backs, and flash betweens made it challenging to stay with the show. I'll give this season a shot and might stick with it just to see the conclusion.
• Joker Game - Production I. G., generally has beautiful animation, and the premise sounds promising. I'll give it a try and see how it is after 5 episodes.
  - Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress - Looks like AoT with trains. Definitely giving this show a try.
• Kumo Miko: Girl Meets Bear - A little bit of comedy as I wait for the release of The Boy and the Beast.
• My Hero Academia - Expectations are not high with this show, but again I have a weak spot and will try anything Bones produces.

Films

• Digimon Adventure Tri. 2: Determination - I'll keep watching it until there are no more.
• Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions - Looks like Yu-Gi-Oh wants a resurgence like Digimon. I'll watch too see Kaiba be a jerk once again.
• Ajin - Demi-Human Part 2: Collision - Haven't seen part one nor the show yet, but based upon both I'll decide to give this film a try.
• Garo: Divine Flame - Liked the first series of Garo, so I'll watch this for sure.

Macross Delta was a nice eyecandy, but the overly flashy superhuman idol master stuff did make me roll my eyes into my socket.

It's only been like 7 or 8 years since Frontier, but Jesus, they must have had some MAJOR breakthrough in tech.
And organic Fold system!? Damn, I figured the only organic beings capable of that in the galaxy were the Vajra.
(Proto-Devilin probably could, but those suckers are basically cosmic deities. I don't think they count, lol.)
The Fold Quartz and type-V virus research must have been pretty robust after F.

That line-up is bound to make summer and possibly fall look pretty dull in comparison.

Then everything else beyond that is just a welcomed surprise. So far that's nine show I'm looking forward to and not in the sense of ''oh, looks cool I'll check it out'' but in the sense of ''I can already tell waiting for all of those every week will be tough''.

I know hype can lead to disappointment but…damn.

Just a few weeks until the new season hits!

Looking through the PVs and there seems to be the most anime I'm interested in a season since I've started following by season. I actually really feel like I won't be able to watch it all.

Aside from My Hero Academia, Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress, Kiznaiver and Macross Delta, Bungaku Stray Dogs, Mayoiga, Kuma Miko, Sakamoto Desu Ga and Flying Witch catch my attention. A lot of variety - action, relaxing cute stuff (the bear one looks super cute), humor; some very interesting premises. That's a whopping 9 series that catch my attention before the season start. Makes up for the fairly lackluster winter, I guess?

There's still Osomatsu-san this season, but otherwise I'm with you guys. Bring on some new anime. For some reason I'm extra excited for this season, too.

Maybe it just is this winter season. I did end up also picking up the short Sekkou Boys, which was really fun, but literally nothing aside from that and Erased and Osomatsu-san not even grabbed my attention. Usually I do check out quite a few first episodes. (To be fair, I've heard good things about Rakugo and I have no doubt Lupin ended up real good based on what I saw, they don't exactly "grab" me to watch them right away).

Hopefully it keeps close to the character-centric first half of the previous series. Going heavy into the overarching story did it no favors.

Every time some Joker complains about the "filler" in series like Cowboy Bebop, someone needs to point them to Rage of Bahamut.

I'm placing my money on My Hero Academy catching my attention right away and ultimately leading to me pickin' up the manga; just like it happened with ERASED. The preview makes it look incredibly cool and truth be told I can't seem to find anyone talking trash about the source material either.

The Space Patrol Luluco short is super cute. I've always liked Imaishi's art style, it just needs good execution to back it up. Gurren Lagann was good, Little Witch Academia was good, Kill la Kill was pretty clumsy at points. I like this little short so far, though. If you straight-up love Gainax/Trigger/Imaishi definitely check it out despite it being a short.

Lost Village (Mayoiga) was wierd. I don't really know how to describe it? Over-the-top, melodramatic in a bad way? I feel like the "craziness" and "wierdness" of the characters was played up too much to the point of distraction and made it really hard to take seriously. I do expect B-horror kind of fun, though. Can't wait for them to start tearing each other apart!

I decided to watch Space Patrol Luluco on a whim. It doesn't look like it's going to be the most involved thing, but it's really short and had me laughing like at some of KLK's funniest moments. Also, I don't even care that he only appeared for a scene in one short episode so far, this guy is the best:

Well Lost Village was very intriguing and it has a character called Lion too. So I might just watch episode 2.

Ace Attorney was well done. But I don't think it's exactly my kind of story. I will try episode 2 to make sure.

Eindrid was pretty boring. Might be too soon to judge but I can't watch too many shows either. Dropping this one.

Having checked out the glorious Duwang, I will also assess the first episodes of Ushio and Tora: the Hakumening, MHA and Swagamoto.

After that, I will hold off on them till I'm done with Fall and Winter leftovers, including the amazing Rakugo, which I saw only one episode of and now I'm obliged to see it through because it looks like it could become one of my GOATs depending on how it shakes out.

Today's anime were My Hero Academia and Kuma Miko.

My Hero Academia had a very solid first episode, kicking off as a good adaption of the manga - good animation, characters are instantly likeable (the slow pace helped to make them more memorable)

Kuma Miko was uh… interesting. I wasn't expecting the latter half at all, but I really liked how it highlighted how bizzare old fairy tales could be, even if the "sexy" part stuff was kind of wierd. It's gross-out kinda humor, which also makes it pretty memorable. I was just expecting a girl and a bear doing cute things. The ending song is peak adorable and catchy, though. My favorite ending of the season so far.
