Even more irritating is even if you don't want the full set you gotta buy others just to get pieces.

EG: Luffy and Nami alternate pieces come with Usopp
Zoro & Sanji pieces come with Brook
Brain Point Pieces come with Horn Point Chopper
Horn Point and Robin pieces come with Franky.

Yeah, the other faces I wouldn't really care about but if for some reason you didn't want Franky, but wanted to make the 2 Robin pose it would be very annoying. I'm sure there is some person out there that might want only a double Robin that can work together that wouldn't want to be forced to buy Franky.

Not weird. It's bad. Just bad. The figure itself is terrible, with strange proportions and yeah, the face is terrible.

Tbh I think half of the set is pretty bad. Luffy's head/hat proportions are completely wrong, Zoro's mouth ruins the entire face and I don't even want to talk about Usopp because there are too many wrong things about the proportions.

Nami, Robin, Sanji, Chopper and Brook look good. And yeah, Jinbe looks good too, but with all the detail in the clothes and face, he just looks out of place in what's supposed to be a set.

Also, the whole idea of the set is just wrong. How do you celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ANIME with a set based on a MANGA cover?

Well I just pulled the trigger and ordered the entire set (2 robins and no brain point) from NY. Came to 31830 yen before shipping, which I thought was reasonable.

Especially considering I had to pay 20480 just for the G4 Snakeman Luffy POP!!

Hopefully they will look good together and not too much of a disappointment. I do usually find myself disappointed with Figuarts Zero though to be honest.

Who does everyone want / expect for Volume 2? Volume 3?

I think this is a great opportunity to get King Elizabello, Riku, and Kyros WCFs (Seriously, not one Kyros or Toy Soldier??) also I'll riot if I don't get a Big News Morgans figure. A Sai that isn't holding a sake cup would be nice too.

But due to all the "minor" characters that likely don't sell well– I'm fully expecting and prepared for them to just make another dupe set of Garp v.3, ooo Shirahoshi in a shirt, ooo Sabo in armor, Kizaru, ooo Lucci v.6, and ooo Shanks in a cloak set.

Vol 2. Belo Betty, Lindburgh, Karasu, Morley, Dragon, Sabo in armor (Momohige and Moda more likely)
Vol 3. King Elizabello, King Riku, King Wapol, King Stelly, King Cobra, King Dalton (Bison form) Kyros, Sai
Vol 4. Imu and the Gorosei
Vol 5. Mjosgard, Roswald, Bonney, Kuma, Kaku, Stussy, Big News Morgans, Kinderella with Hakowan

Dumb figures I expect them to do instead of actually characters that deserve a figure: The Empty Throne, The Giant Strawhat

I hope they do another character poll and release figures people actually want.

Yeah, this is when i'm going to step away from the line for a bit. Reverie was pretty short lived and very little was fleshed out during the 10 or so chapters we got. A Slave Kuma and granny Bonney would have been nice, but as you say, all of these figures are characters we already have in some form or another. Nothing original.

As far as Vol.2, when Vol.1 was initially revealed they also announced a Vol.2 for June, but this was promptly dropped the following month, so currently we have nothing slated for June.

July we are getting a set called -BURST-, which i'm mildly intrigued about since it will be the first set to come under the new 'BANDAI SPIRIT' imprint. That might be why we are seeing a break in June?

August and September we are getting the "STAMPEDE" Movie Vol.1 & 2 and given both Film Z and Gold had 5 volumes each, I expect we'll see STAMPEDE 3-5 run for the rest of the year.

The earliest we may go back to Reverie/Wano now is Jan 2020. Which is probably when i'll start collecting again.

Depends how picky you are. If you're okay with pre-owned you can find most anything. Depending on popularity finding new things can be tricky.

You mean the pancake OT chopper that's out this month? I'm sure NY will put some more up on release. I'm in the same boat with the new POP Zoro.

After Hancock i've been umming and arring over these maximums as they are just so expensive and I have legit run out of space, so i'm pretty much just hoarding at this point. Makes no sense. Problem is I know if I change my mind in a year or 2 they'll be 3 times the price.

The Snakeman POP and the 20th anniversary Figuartz ZERO sets may have to be my limit for One Piece merch this year. That's like 60,000 yen in itself.

Have enough on my plate just trying to keep up with SH Figuarts Dragon Ball stuff!!

No, I don't think so, there are no signs. I suspect they are just on display to complement the new Wano releases since those characters appear in Wano.

Technically those are just their Wano outfits and Chopper and Nami happen to wear ninja outfits. None of the other Straw Hats' Wano outfits are ninja though.

They seem to be the outfits from the ninja colorspread a while ago. The one with the crazy long-legs.
Now that i look at that spread again … i really hope they also release the Robin from it.

Seems weird going for Nami and Chopper first tbh. Especially when everyone seemed to be going mental over Robin's kimono (honestly if Megahouse don't jump on that they'll be smoking something) and Zoro and Luffy are more important. Question is will we see Wano Sanji or Germa Sanji?

We know basically the first two Stampede sets are coming out and have seen photos of nine out of the twelve figures (the straw hats), but I'm expecting until the "hidden" ones are revealed the websites aren't going to do pre-orders yet.

Pretty sure Banpresto are in the process of re-branding to Bandai Spirits this month which I think is why we aren't getting a set.

July has a set called -BURST- and I have no idea what it could be other than characters with attack effects. We should see them later this month, but I'm hoping they're not good since i'm enjoying the break!

Aug, Sep and Oct are STAMPEDE Vol. 1-3 and Reverie Vol.2 is November. A Wano Kuni set may come at the end of the year.
