Love that trio of Luffy/Bege/Ceasar tbh. its real fun. Katakuri looks cool too but really want one without his scarf tbh. Hoping the POP will do both faces. Law looks exactly the same as all of the other Law merch. The Perhona looks cute but not a char I really love enough to buy tons of merch for so will pass unless I find it cheap.

Since yesterday I didn't even know there would be Megahobby, I remember years ago waiting it for months and having lot of talks on who was going to receive a POP and the excitement in waiting for announces.
Now I just wonder how can there be so much request for babes that they're doing those since years, seriously, who is really buying those things??? They're awful, not just for what they are but especially in the design. We know One Piece's girls have extreme curves, but these are even worst. I really can't comprehend, it could be nice if they kept them more realistic (like the various Banpresto) but as they are they're ridicuolous.
Anyway, I love new Boa and Katakuri looks stunning, can't wait to see how much accessories they give him (expecting a second face with mouth wide open). Sanji doesn't impress me, they should have showed him along Pudding. Whitebeard and Jinbe are pure art, gorgeous. Prices went too high and the fact they're doing almost only Maximum doesn't help, even though they're stunning.
In another world by now we would already have a lot of exciting new characters we miss: Coby, Ivankov, Buggy, Mr. 3, Jozu, Hody Jones, Caesar, Monet, Vergo, Diamante, Pica, Trebol, Jyabura, preTS Supernovae, Kinemon, Inuarashi, Nekomamushi, Carrot, Pedro, Jack, Smoothie, Cracker, Big Mom… maybe it's better this way, those would be a lot of money

It's been a long time since I did my daily Megahobby countdowns! it used to be so exciting, but the good news is Megahouse are finally turning a corner after seeing all of these unofficial companies produce amazing resins.
Even I got got the FOC Studio Diamante & Trebol.
This Katakuri is amazing though, even if it is 20,000 yen it's still worth getting.
Sanji on the other hand looks pretty boring and Hancock is the first under sexualised female figure in years, so it's worth getting, just to prove a point!
Looking forward to 2019 now that POP is back with avengence!!

The set's still new, but the prices should come down in the next few weeks. There aren't any rare figures in the set as far as I remember, so I'd wait some before spending 8,000 on a set like this. As for the new WCI, I was hoping for sulong Carrot. Can't wait to see it! Next volume kinda has to include Cracker, Smoothie, Perospero, Daifuku, Oven, and Brulee (assuming there is at least one). Please?!

I'm considering biting the bullet and pre-ordering them all from Omocha House going forward.
The price is double that of amiami, but I really don't see any other options for collectors outside of the US.
Maybe I need to find a US redirection service, but knowing UPS/FEDEX shipping rates, it'll probably still come to 10,000 yen a set.
Missed 3 sets on Manda now, so expect next one will go up for 9,000…..:blink:

On the WCF front, I received my 3rd display box for my birthday XD. Now I can finally start displaying the Whole Cake Island arc figures!! Still undecided on whether to unbox the Attack set though.

Also I have post-timeskip Coby & Helmeppo displayed now and planning to add my Lucci & Spandam soon since they're all making a re-appearance for Reverie!! I may even get a Shanks & Dragon now if we don't get new ones.

I've always been curious about this and I remember it being a big talking point at the time. When did the plastic change and was it actually the plastic, or just the paint application?
Was this around 2011 with the Brotherhood and Davy Back sets?
I've only collected the post-timeskip sets from 2012 onwards, and I really like the finish on them. I would say the detail and colouring improved a great deal from the Halloween Vol.2 set onwards (late 2013).
Here is a post I found of the complete Strong World re-releases from the Treasure Rally sets. They look pretty good imho, but I'm not collecting pre-timeskip.

Right now i'm looking for anywhere I can pre-order the complete MUGIWARA56 for under $200!
I may have to risk this one and wait until release, especially since unlike Pedro in the last set where there were only 6 per 56 pcs box, these sets are all 10-14 pcs, so shouldn't be difficult to find them all.
Next rare is gonna be Big Mom from the WCI Vol.2. She's another 6, better pre-order that one!
