Yeah, that is the kicker with prize figures it seems. Amazing sculpts, let down by mediocre finish, paint app and QC.
That being said, it helps keep the price down. The new Luffy POP retailed at 10,000 yen, whilst I grabbed this for 2,000. You really can't complain about that.
Tbh, I don't know if I'd pay 5 x the price for a POP quality version of this sculpt.

Nope, nothing yet, but I expect we'll get an announcement on the SJ calendar on 1st May. They may get released in October. Based on my calculations the anime will just be starting the Luffy Vs Katakuri fight that month so it would be perfect timing. The fight also lasted 20 chapters, and the current pacing gives us 1.5 episodes per chapter, so we're looking at 7 months for that fight in the anime!! lol
October 2018 - April 2019 will be the perfect time to release all things "Katakuri". YOU LISTENING MEGAHOUSE????

Nope, MUGIWARA Vol.2 haven't gone up yet, and they're for August. WCI Vol.2 isn't until September and we haven't even seen the prototypes yet. They should appear next month.

The paint and finish on Luffy G4 and Jinbe for example are incredible. There is a lot of attention to detail. The sad part with POP now is we don't seem to get any accessories or additional faces anymore. I think Sabo may have been one of the last to come with a good selection of additional heads and hands.

I personally think the POP version will be 100 times better than this custom. Look at Jinbe and Bege, they blow the amatuer products away.
I still really hope they will give us an SA-MAXIMUM Doflamingo. With us getting Hancock, it may open the doors for the other Shichibukai (Buggy, Weevil??!!)
