Hmm, while pretty random, I kinda like that new Luffy. It's different but at least it's not another bikini POP with ridiculous huge boobs …

On another note, I kinda wanted to preorder Cora and Law today but they're EMS/UPS only for me at BiJ so ... I might just pass ... I mean, I really want Cora but something about his POP seems off (again) and I don't really feel comfortable spending so much money on it ... T_T it's a dilemma ...

I wish Banpresto would do a Scultures or CxC of him ...

Edit: Regarding that Kabuki Luffy, I'd like to see Megahouse do that Nami ....

Oh dear!! They seriously cancelled Lao G over this?? What is going on? Megahouse trying to take over from PLEX with a new DPCF line??!!

Well i was interested mostly in chibi Law, but at that price i gave up. More than 15.000 for Corazon + Law Mild is too much for me (i've to say that i don't give a damn of Corazon). I hope one day Megahouse decide to release them separate.

Well this is not so random from megahouse. There is a one piece Kabuki stage in Japan now so they made this Luffy, Megahouse is more interested in Japan market than overseas anyway so those who don't like don't buy I guess.

As for film z POP it's over for a year now there is an upcoming movie no need to release z one now.

There was a styling set awhile back, Nami turned out pretty nice. She is not happy winking face but its a decent little figure and the exact same outfit/look.

yeah, sadly I'm not really interested in styling figures, Bandai's products are really not up to my standards. XD (LOL) if they made a POP and it turned out nice, I'd most likely buy it … same for scultures or CxC ^.^

Okay cool, thanks for the link! That puts it in a more official light. In any case it's sculpted well, but it would seem kind of out of place with the rest of the POPs, and I don't think I can afford to start another line. Haha

I'm pretty thankful that's not a POP….right now I'm biting down hard on the mouthpiece to continue collecting the POP/WCF line as I've pretty much quit everything else. Man.....let's try to get back to the root of it all before all the fan service, re-releases, and wacked proportioned characters....

Nah it's not the same outfit at all. Yes, she's also wearing a kimono and a paper umbrella but that was from an old colourspread from like 2002-2003.

I don't really get why people are complaining about that Luffy .-.
It looks pretty good to me. Very different from what we usually have from Megahouese and very close to Oda's illustration. The whole gig looks amazing on it's own too, GOD I wish I could attend.

Not only do they overcharge on shipping but they also loooove to send additional shipping invoices once the item gets in stock and they realise it's too heavy/big for what they estimated. I had to pay an extra of 4000 yen for my Tomoe figure and I had already paid like 3500 … not to mention the risk of custom fees ...
after calculating everything yesterday, I found that the cheapest option for me is a local shop. the set will cost me 139€ shipped, even less that what NY and BiJ are asking and I don't have to worry about custom fees or additional shipping costs. :3

It has worked for me too, Louis but sadly German custom officers get very suspicious with big parcels nowadays so I can't risk it. Also shipping from the US is always very expensive .. otherwise I'd have bought from you too.

btw, for anyone interested Yorokonde has opened preorders again. the set is 133€ before shipping, tax included.

3 Options this year.

Miyazawa Model Exhibition - Some time around the November 17th. Mostly GoodSmile stuff these days, but likely MH will have their BB girls on display atleast!
Megahobby Expo - Confirmed for November 28th. Not holding my breath for anything great. Worried they are just going to give us more VAH and weird and wonderful POP's that have nothing to do with the PunkHazard/Dressrosa/Zou Arcs (which is what I want)…...
Jump Festa - Confirmed for December 19th. This will be their last chance to "deliver the goods" imho….........

I started collecting in 2005, i bought most of my stuff from AnimeHa (rest in peace) then i had no other choice but going for shops like HLJ, Otacute(rest in peace)and later mandarake because price getting more and more expensive, customs and VAT would have been a daily hit for me.
I started to use proxy for some items i want from yahoo and amazon but some figures getting exclusive i had to go for some places.
Until now i was going with Big in Japan or my friend when she was in Japan got some figures for me.Now she is not there anymore so i am now force to go with either Big in Japan or Nippon Yassan, mostly because even buying oversees it cost less that getting them from other shops within europe, but now i will go with this shop you mentioned, since it doesn't worth it with high shipping cost.
The only thing now is do they cancel easily?because i am afraid to lose an exclusive nendoroid as i am a new customer.

Yorokonde? It's no problem to cancel as long as you do it before they have the item in stock.

Probably 75% of my POP come from NY because i never paid a single euro of custom fee with them and they never asked me to pay more shipping fees even if it was actuallly higher than exepted.
