I find it's more people making "customs" and then selling those as "legit" pieces. Currently there have been no "announcements" regarding exclusive One Piece POP Vinyls… but judging from DBZ, Sailor Moon, Naruto and Bleach. We'll probably get some EBgames/Gamestop and Hot Topic exclusives down the road.

Bootlegs exist, but as long as you're not ordering "prototype pieces off eBay".. you should be good. Also like Cyber-Robin said, with conventions and after-market sellers just make sure the POP is legit. It show look off if it's a custom piece. (However, some customs I've seen are pretty damn good.) (Sabo for example)

Yeah, Nami doesn't look half bad. I'm sad that GOLD isn't creating the same buzz as Z did. Still, looking forward to seeing the film in July.

Hell yeah it does, the alt one is a super metallic gold dress that looks crazy. Especially compared to the other DXF Film gold Nami that being released which looks quite crappy in my opinion, though its more of a combat one. Where as this one is literally called Glitz and Glamour or something like that. Hopefully they do a Robin.
On another note I received the VAH Nami after grabbing her for 4k yen during HS's last sale. She is worth every penny, love the size/scale. Haven't played with her yet but am very happy I decided to grab her. Most expensive figure Ive bought in a year at 4k yen lol. Times are tough.

Yeah, Barto is LIMITED again. Not sure exactly if it is just a repaint. I says "revised" so it could be a 1.5 or a completely different figure.
To make an announcement on the Jump Calendar Senior Pink must be in production. It even has a price. I've never seen anything from Bandai be cancelled after showing up on the calendar.
I only picked out a handful of announcements, yeah there are loads more. Hancock VAH, Tashigi BB and Perona CB we already knew about so I didn't need to mention them.

They've been getting larger for a while now. Just look at the MSP line, 20-30cm figures non stop!
Banpresto always had their figures in the bigger scale among other sizes, too. I own a Lupin prize line that's what, 5-7 years old now? They are about 26 cm.

I wouldn't go that far personally, for the money it is definitely nice. Mine must be curved alittle since her legs and bottom of her dress don't lay flat like her upper body.
Need to get the Boa Jeans Freak since I seen she is out. Hopefully when my fav store comes back from holidays they will throw her up.

I got everyone except for Ace and in typical Ace fashion, I saw him at a comic expo two weeks ago and I slept on purchasing him. Not too worried, they are slowly popping up in Gamestops/Ebgames.

Not sure about Hancock. It's the boobs XD it really makes her look awkward in some poses. But maybe its just me. I recently boxed Zoro up and gave him away to a friend. And haven't even been bothered to open Chopper up. Just don't seem to be in the mood for it.
I'll get Robin and Usopp if we get him. Which makes me somewhat sad since I was planning on getting the whole crew but Megahouse's handlling killed it for me.
Yeah, Hancock's boobs are killing it for me. I like big bosoms alright, but they just look like 2 ugly unproportional balloons on her and are really killing the way the figure looks all in all. I am not sure if I want to order her 
Picked up Dramatic Showcase Robin at a local comic book shop on clearance for $20. Quite happy to finally have her. You may wonder where is the stone railing in my pics? Well its just a big ugly grey slab of pvc that I immediately put back into the box. Much nicer without it. The yellow circle is a reflection from a light, I'm horrible at taking pictures any more.

She's a great figure. One of my faves Was so happy to finally get her and Heavy Chopper into my collection after complaining for 10 years about them
Yeah the same shop had Soge King and Chopper aswell, thinking I should grab Chopper but he won't be as cheap. They had the full set at some point. I got lucky since the figure was clearance + they were having a sale so got an additional 20% off which has since ended. Can't decide if I want the whole crew from this set. Kind of just want Nami and Zoro.

Banpresto is now harvesting the fruits of their Figure Colosseum tournament investment. Practically now they have a group of very good DB & OP figure sculptors on board.
The experience in sculpting dynamic pose One Piece figures will serve well for them. Oda's art will be best represented in dynamic pose.
I think Megahouse never thought about it or they tried to avoid risk. They keep producing standing POP (and now sitting on chair ones) and the figures just look flat in display after a couple of weeks. It doesn't even look good in pictures.
For example, I have enjoyed taking pictures of my Scultures Jango than any POP I have.
I like POP but the price rising without any good reason pushed me to buy less,also the lack of good choices in term of characters.
Banpresto SC line became more important to me with the great pose and quality for cheap.
I hope I can get these two guys above,that was one of my favourite moment.

This looks so good, I don't know if it's a photo effect but the darkness effect would have been cooler if it was even darker. It looks blueish on top and in thinner parts.
Great idea anyway, with that specific Blackbeard it does look great and so dynamic, I don't think POP would give the same result.

Thanks, but I'm actually looking for info on the little WCF figures. I ordered all nine Straw Hats in their white outfits, but Banpresto hid the rest of the figures behind ovals with letters on them that don't give any info in the solicitations. =\
