Amiami would be my go-to, I think they ship worldwide. Though because of the pandemic there seems to be some issues, I still haven't gotten two packages that should have been sent like three months ago.

Pretty much every shop ships worldwide i think?
So far i ordered from AmiAmi, Hobbysearch, Solaris, Nippon Yasan, Mandarake and BigInJapan and i didn't have any problems (except for import taxes which isn't really the shops fault).

It's a Chinese resin custom from YZ Studio. I knew they'd be making the "HA" face Robin and wanted no part of that.

Picked this up for about 45 USD if I remember correctly. Once they sell out resellers upcharge by like 300% sadly

I'm very heavily involved with keeping up with the custom game so I can fill in the Banpresto gaps.

Also the customs guys make MEGA versions of the characters that deserve them as well.

I have relationships with the studios in China, YZ, G-5, and BBF. I deal with them directly via Taobao– usually at like 3AM my time in the US. It's a bit complicated since I have to use Google translate and talk to them in Chinese, but it's been working great for me. There's 3 steps to ordering customs.

1. Pre-Order (Prototype images and full price are revealed) - Down payment of typically 10-30% on the figure.
2. Full payment (Months down the line when the molds are complete, painted, and ready to ship) - Rest of what's owed.
3. Shipping (Communicating with the warehouse in China to ship overseas) - Usually 10-15 for just a small WCF, 20-40 for MEGA versions. Pandemic has made shipping a bit more expensive.

I'm in a facebook group called Resin WCF Collectors. The members are mostly Thai, but they post information frequently. Sometimes even before the studios release the prototypes officially. I've been planning to open an online store for English speaking WCF fans to get the customs. Act as an agent, deal with the late night communications, etc. If anyone is interested in something like that, let me know.

The new POP Miss All Sunday looks great, other than the pose, which doesn’t make any sense to me. It looks like her knees are giving out and she’s collapsing or falling over or something. Does anyone understand MegaHouse’s intent with her better than me? [emoji28]

It looks to me like her pose should kinda give off a cover/promotional art vibe - the ones where the characters are basically floating before some background, not actually standing around.

I wish I also could start collecting some POPs again, but Amiami couldn't even send me my Nendoroids that came out in March yet and money-wise it also wouldn't be ideal.

Some of us left but do like to check back every few years to see if any old faces are still around Not sure I miss the 4am online campouts to get preorders in or hope that PlayAsia would put WCF stock up randomly. They were fun (and expensive) times to be a collector though and it was a really lovely community to be a part of

Those were the days. Setting my alarm for early morning just to possibly get a pre-order in for a WCF or P.O.P. figure. The experience was cool, but never again.

i mostly miss Mega House making actual P.O.P's,
these days it's nothing but 1 or 2 of those per year, and almost always re-dressed characters, that nobody asked for,
or the big boob girl ones….. or even stuff like Hancock in a wedding dress...... ain't nobody got time for that....

the prices are also stupid high these days, i remember getting P.O.P's for roughly 50 euro's each in like 2007 or something.
now, you almost have to take out a mortgage on your house, to be able to even buy 1 P.O.P figure, and that doesn't even include the shipping and customs yet.....

That's actually what caused me to come check in here, got a little spare cash and thought it might be nice to buy my first ever P. O. P figure but my god they're expensive now. I was also hoping to find a Jimbei figure around to go with my GLM crew lineup but he doesn't seem to have been given many in the past few years

I'm hoping Jinbe's situation will change soon. There was a decent one released in the Figuarts line a year ago which should go with them.

Speaking of P.O.P the big announcement was that Aokiji and Fujitora will be re-released.

I just bought Ace and Sabo from the One Piece Magazine Figure as well. Still waiting for Luffy. They look really good for prize figures. The color, painting and sculpt are just perfect embodiment of the color artwork.

Oh yeah, it's a great piece with lots of memories. Just had to have it to look at with my kids one day.

Oh and I recently got my Gear 2 Figuarts Luffy and while it's tiny, I really like it. Looks great with the other two on the shelf and I love how you don't have to use the base.

Nice collection, TC. It's been a long time since not reading your posts here (quite a few years already). Good to know that you're still collecting OP figures.
I can see FZ sculpts are getting better and yeah the Banpresto's base is the only complaint I have over their figures. FZ didn't have such problem.

Btw what did you do to the POP, the color tone seems a bit different. It ended up really nice.

I finally decided to put an end to my One Piece collection. I had Wano Luffy PO'd and it would have been my first new POP since Snakeman, but decided to cancel it. It's sad, but since clearing out my attic, I've had a mountain of boxed POP's for 6 months in the corner of my room and came to the realization i'm never gonna have the space to display them and still continue collecting. Looks like Kaido is out now as well, and as I expected, it looks a lot smaller irl, especially for 40,000 yen. I think now is a good time to hang up this hobby.

Sure? The last Jinbe P.O.P. came out 2 1/2 years ago.

Does Megahouse have any events planned this year btw? Feel like it was ages since the last announcement and there are some good choices for Wano. Either spring on the Supernovas that are important now (Drake, Hawkins, Apoo) or maybe some Scabbards (Kinemon, Kiku). Big Mom is also still missing, but at this point I'll doubt we will ever see her.
