Wow these new Wano POPs look amazing!
I've been out of POP collecting for a while now (ever since they abandoned the Z line to focus on fanservice versions) but these new ones are tempting me back. Hopefully they do Wano costumes for the whole crew.
Anybody know the best shops these days to buy pops from? (I'm in Aus and used to buy from AmiAmi back in the day)
I've missed Chopper, Luffy and Nami so a bit late to the party =/

Did Sanji upset someone? Looking at a ton of new sets which seem to now be limited to Luffy, Zoro, Law and Chopper.
Found Ichiban Kuji Wano Kuni Nami for $44 cad + tax and could not resist buying her. With the shipping shutdown in Japan and all I've been dying for some One Piece goodness. She is quite beautiful.

I'm in the same boat. I was going to get them all, but decided just to get Luffy and maybe Kaido. As for fan service, it seems megahouse still can't help themselves. It's a damn shame. It would have been a great nami figure otherwise.
Her outfit is pretty fan service period, om my IK one it just barely covers her butt. Though it looks like Megahouse gave her a thong lol.

Well there are regular Bandai model ships and there is a line called the Sailing Ship Collection that is almost the same scale and comes with tiny Straw Hat Figures too. In fact the Wano Version with Straw Hats in Wano attire is supposed to release next month. They're also a fraction of the cost of that Chogokin version. Unfortunately nothing is painted so ship parts come in certain plastic color and you add water decals or stickers and have to paint the Straw Hats.

This version is European version from MegaHouse Spain, I pre-order it in a local shop. That's why I can get it even in this circunstances

I'm in the UK and mine came from Nippon-Yassan. They tries to ship him before lockdown but it got sent back. So they upgraded it to UPS in May. No sign of O-Nami yet tho.
BTW I know there's no Wonderfest for obvious reasons. Anyone think we'll see anything new announced online?
If they do announce or show something online, it would be a new concept. Not sure if that's something they'd like to do or just hold off and announce/show stuff in the fall/winter. Showing new figs at their conventions is a big deal there.

A lot of people left and lets face it One Piece just isn't getting the interesting figures it was years ago. I went from spending £200+ a month to like 4 figures a year.
Lets face it. If this was 2010 we would have had all of Wano P.O.P released by now. While awaiting Okiku and Kine'mon to be released. Right now we have what? Luffy, Chopper, Nami and Zoro? Edit: Looks like Law was announced too.
I genuinely don't think at this rate we will see Franky or Brook. With even Robin and Usopp I'll be surprised to see.

As I see it, One Piece main collectibles have always been POPs and many years ago MegaHouse killed its own brand with a lot of wrong decision (I speak in term of general interest, I don't know if half naked irrealistic figures and 5 re-edition of the same character sell more than what the line used to focus around)
I would still buy figures if prices were affordable like 10 years ago. I can't spend 250 euros for one figure, I remember 10 years ago POPs cost around 70-80 euros, with the single big shot like whitebeard that cost me some 100+. Smaller figures like Banpresto and Bandai are usually boring.
Some unofficial figures are amazing and they make every character, but are extremely expensive as well.

Yeah the price is real off-putting now. Wano Chopper cost me more than SA-Robin did years ago.
There just aren't many releases like there used to be and OP itself peaked with the Summit War. For figures nowadays, it's just one lewd version of Nami, Robin, or Hancock after another. I'm still in it for WCFs, but news on those since the pandemic started has stopped and now they're all delayed.
Customs are still going strong for WCFs. I'm getting regular deliveries from China even with the pandemic. Things slowed down for a bit between Dec-Feb, but it's been great since. There's a great facebook page called Resin WCF Collector (mostly Thai collectors) but they share info on WCFs and customs from China including new Wano characters that the Banpresto line hasn't touched yet. Most of my customs are of a stronger quality than the official figures. I'll have to post an updated collection photo soon. Just got a size accurate MEGA Oars Jr for my Marineford shelf.

Same here, and not only official prices have risen but even second-handed ones. I've tried searching for some figures I don't have but people seem to have gone crazy, thinking it's right to ask 200€ for a Bartolomeo/Sabo or 70€ for a Zoro CB, to me that concurred in the decline of the line.

Thanks to their small size and cheap price, they allow to collect many characters, including usually neglected side-kicks. WCF figures are too mainly focused on straw hats and popular characters.

I have the full collection of both MBH and Figure Collection (I haven't put them on display since I move to my new flat, shame). I started to collect them more than 10 years ago, always buying every single set when they were released. Such a heartbrake when I realized that both lines were discontinued 
Yeah there used to be so many great sets like those but they've all been discontinued. The only left that I can think of is the Log Box which is cool little diorama like figure scenes of characters. They announced a Wano set but they did reduce the sets to 4. I really miss the Great Deep collection where they were character busts, I bought all of them including the secrets and LE sets. Loved that set

Wow, I've never seen Roger look so cool and so much like Ace. First Oden figure I can think of and 3rd Kaido that I know of.

They don't normally spoil stuff before the anime with their figures. Oden is still like 5-6 months away in the anime.

Those special sets normally range between $20 and $40 per set. Definitely affordable. They had Luffy/Katakuri a couple years ago and most recently Luffy/Nami and Zoro/Chopper Wano figures. I got both sets for like $50 + shipping.

You can always try mandarake. Things sell fast there, but unless you want to go the route of proxies, it's your best bet.

New figures announced: special Figuarts Zero set based on One Piece Volume 91 cover (starting in November 2020) and a new Ichiban Kuji set based on Wanokuni that will be reveal next 22nd July (but we can see Kaidou figure in the scan).

Maybe we could exchange some info about where to get these sets. the average range of price for the Banpresto WCF collection is around 100 reais, just so you know.

Yeah, I did check up Mercado Livre, the 100 reais price is to be expected, the ones I own (a Shanks and a Mihawk) I got from amazon for about 80 reais, but it was around when the exchange rate was 1:2. What screws me over is that I want more niche ones like Rayleigh and Shakky, Doffy and his officers, the admirals and Momousagi and Chaton, Prime Garp and Sengoku. And these's are kind harder to find here.
I might try to buy Mestre Kame WCF in Mercado livre, is about 35 reais, give me a head up if you ever saw a Jackie Chun.

I've decided to get a huge centrepiece for my collection and going with a resin statue like BP Studio or Pandora Studio or the like. Anyone here collect or have any? There are lots of resellers online, but want to shop somewhere safe so looking for recommendations.
I was waiting for Tsume to make a Luffy but more and more it seems that isn't happening.

Franky and Brook looks especially awesome. That Sanji is bordering on Stealth Black, but it looks pretty good as well.
