Reports saying Christopher Lee has passed away at the age of 93.
R.I.P. Christopher Lee

This is sad.
I believe he has appeared in more feature films than anyone else if I recall correctly.
-
You're kidding me. :O
-
That sucks. I'm only familiar with his more recent work like LOTR & Star Wars, but he was amazing in both…..and he had such an amazing voice.
R.I.P :cwy: -

Really sad to hear this. Man was a class act and one of the few good things about the Star Wars prequels
-
Really came as a surprise to me. May he rest in peace.
-
Apparently he passed away on Sunday…?
That crushes my soul
-
I was just looking at his wikipedia page yesterday thinking … Damn, i hope he will stay with for at least a few more years.
But that's how it goes. It really makes me sad ... i admired him very much.
RIP Christopher Lee.

My love of vampires and the Dracula novel come from this dude. He was the first portrayal of Drac I saw in a movie and certainly never let me forget it. Been following many of his works since then, dude always threw everything into his roles even from small bit like Ansem in KH. Really talented, very respected and much love to all his work, especially when he kept going at his age. I'm really gonna miss him.
R.I.P Sir Lee.

93 years. What a wonderful long life he lived. Giving the world unforgettable roles in both movies and games.
Truly one of a kind. :(

indeed
In my youth I loved watching the old Hammer Horror films that had Christopher Lee in them. Only ones better when Lee co-starred in a film with Vincent Price or Peter Cushing.
I know I've seen at least one film with Lee & Price together … I just can'te remember the name!
It was not House of Long Shadows... -
Goddamn, I was really saddened by this. I'm glad he had a long, eventful life as an incredibly successful actor. He certainly deserved it. I'll probably watch Dracula tonight.
-
He was a great talent, and it's a shame he's gone. At least he was around for a long time and had a very prosperous career, though.
Rest in Peace, Christopher Lee.
-
Rest in peace. A legend among legends
-
Had a long great life with literally hundreds of films in his CV.
RIP Christopher Lee. -
So it's true then. :_;
Rest in peace, Mr. Lee, you were a superb actor with an even more superb voice.
-
Rest in peace Christopher Lee, even if you've been famous for your performances of terror and your terrifying laughter. You captivated several generations.
Biting necks, battling Jedi or living in middle earth, you were a great actor.
Respect

One of the great, classical British actors has left us. Another knighted great.
-
Goddamn. More props to you, Sir Christopher. blows kiss
-
I forgotten that Christopher has sang some Tolkien songs….
This is was listed as Treebeard's Song -
I had a hunch he wouldn't live to see Episode 7 released - I hope he's resting in peace.

I doubt anybody here knows this, but he starred in this film called 'arabian adventure' in 1979. Its actually an old fave of mine, and highlights just how old he was considering how old he looks 36 years ago.
Watching that again definitely reminded me how much media/films in general have progressed in such a short time. Even weirder if you view it from his perspective, with crude carpet rides to full cgi battles against the jedi in only a small portion of his lifetime.
