I forgot how bitter sweet the end of part 4 was, poor Hayato, Shinobu and Shigechi's parents.
Kira's last part was great !! The effects used in in the "bites the dust" part was awesome.

Goodbye Morioh!
Are the starfish of Jotaro's Thesis the work of an enemy stand?
Hi friends, I just finished the anime! Where's the best site to start reading?
I liked DP cleared out the mystery of Tonio food was capable of healing Okuyasus dad.
Good Bye Reimi, she is probably the cutest girl in JoJo.

Batoto has the best scans lined up for each part. Every part so far has full fanmade color scans except, frustratingly, for part 5. Part 5 still has ancient scans of the last few volumes, but they're being worked on. Apparently the color project is going to start work back up from the beginning on Part 5 in January, so if you want to wait up, better quality is on its way. If you want, you can sort of skip Part 5 for now, since it's pretty standalone. I'm not a fan of skipping, but I only mention the option, again, because of the scan thing.
Reimis dress seems that is about to be ripped in pieces and Kira looks more surprised that Reimi is showing her ass to him than her scar.
Kira
! got run over by ambulance trying to use bite the dust earlier today, you can say there's no such thing as karma, but after Kira we believe.
That was absolutely fantastic. Anime wise at least I gotta say this is my favorite part with part 2 being a close second. Kira is an interesting villain, lots of fun and engaging characters, emotional rollercoasters, and plenty of random posing. Quality stuff. I may be saying this because its fresh in my brain but this is a definite top 10 anime IMO. Sad its over, gave me something to look forward to every week.

Thank you, Lord Capricorn! I offer you this tithe in gratitude.
!
good adaptation
obviously doesn't fix the inherent issues that Part 4 always had but it's an enjoyable ride due to how much DavidPro cares
only thing I woulda changed was some pacing issues, some audio choices, and some of the casting choices
other than that, I suspect that they may actually make me give Part 5 the time of day yet
Jotaru's ending butt jut pose cracked me up. Such a weird way to end it. Like he was farting.
Overall I nearly teared up when Reimi got to move on. And I completely forgot that was how Kira went out. Just….run over. The paperwork the ambulance drivers have to fill out is going to be a nightmare.
Meh, why didn't Hayato told his mom about what happened to Kira ?
-"Hey, mom, you know dad ?"
-"Yes, he is late for dinner."-
-"Yeah, he got run over by a ambulance, he is not going to come back."-
There, pretty straightforward. Of course, he had to skip the part with a biologist, a mangaka, a plant that is a cat and something about a time loop.
He just figured to treat him the same way as every other Kira victim was the fair thing to do. Kind of jerkish, but when you have to explain it on terms of punching ghosts and super powered marine biologists..
I forgot that Stray Cat is adopted by Okuyasu. I always thought he just died with Kira.

I really, really like Part 4 and I loved this anime adaption. But it still reinforced in my mind that the fight with Kira is one of the worst final battles in Jojo, even if Kira is one of the best villains.
! It's not Diavalo bad but it's not nearly as epic as the Kars, DIO, Pucci fight and doesn't have the emotional or shock elements of the original Dio fight.

This is because Kira is just a human who wants a quiet life.
And now my favorite part ends. I'm sad but overall it was amazing and allowed me to relive this great part in anime form. I know some people aren't fans of the final fight, and I will admit that the animation makes the pause times for lots of dialogue more awkward, but it's still one of my favorites just with how it's more about getting those few shots in to win rather than a battle of brute strength. Between this and reading part 4 I really need to reread and/or rewatch the various parts again.

That's fine especially once you remember how absurd those two fights were because the Villain's were ridiculously overpowered and were beaten through dumb luck in Kars case and some unexplained circumstances that no one can seem to agree on in Dio's case in SC.
In Dios case it was because he used his injured leg to stop Jotaros punch.

I think Green might have been talking about the overall circumstances of the fight like Jotaro learning to stop time because "he has the same type of Stand" even though that type of possibility has never been seen or elaborated on in the rest of the series either before or afterwards.
it's almost like stands are inconsistent across the entire series or something

I thought that they mentioned the body was identified as Kira. Hayato would still have to figure out how to explain the missing father who's actually been gone for weeks. And trying to explain that Kira murdered him and why he knows would be very confusing.
True, but I thought Hayato would just ignore the details of everything and just tell what was convenient for him to overcome this situation, on the other hand, Shigechi's parents are in a worst situation.
In Dios case it was because he used his injured leg to stop Jotaros punch.
That's the implication…..too bad Araki glossed over it unsurprisingly, along with how the damage travel all the way up from Dio's leg to his head causing it to pop like a pimple.
But hey KONO DIO DA.

They're a product of their environment:ninja:.
That too .
It gets even more sketchy with Joseph and Holly not even having humanoid Stands.

Doesn't make you ask too many questions compared to why a baby has one and can use it with no problems…..unless Mannish Boy was supposed to be a dwarf.

Eh. The Invisi-Baby could passively turn invisible, so I'm cool with that. That, and I could care less about such one-note characters, as good as the Hierophant Green "Lali-Ho" and Joseph's slow "Oh. My. God." scenes were lol. Heck, we don't even really know why characters like Avdol spontaneously summoned their Stands. I think I remember it being compared to how mediums are born with telepathy or some other typical half-assed Araki explanation.
We call them stands because they stand by you…..
Unless they don't.
I might be in the minority but I didnt really like Hayato that much aside from his kamikaze scene, he was a very annoying character with big amount of plot convenience, the way he was screaming was truly unbearable, but I guess it had to do more with her seiyuu(I was comparing it to how Armin screams in SNK and its like day and night).

I didn't like the majority of characters in part 4. Josuke is one of my favorite Jojos. But I have never really like Jotaru. He's just a bit too bland. If he hadn't started getting the stop time he'd be pretty basic. Which I suppose makes since that power wise he'd be basic too since he was at the forefront of the new powers thing.
Pretty much everyone was massively annoying for one reason or another. Or just fairly pointless. Rohan was okay though and Okayasu had moments. But there was just so much that could have been avoided lol.
Hayato was majorly annoying. Characters without powers or non participants constantly narrating every little action is one of the worst tropes lol.
Hey, Speedwagon was fine in the narrator role!,even Stroheim to a lesser extent.
Reimi is probably the one Damsel in Distress character done the right way in Shounen, in the anime she was just "perfect" in that role, and the way she trolled Kira was better than in the manga.
People shitting on the Speedwagon Archetype in Jojo is fucked up imo

Hayato accomplishes more than Dire, Straits, and Caesar combined.
Discuss.
Hayato's voice is probably the only part about him that's abrasive.
If he had Speedwagon's voice, I bet we'd be clamoring for more dramatic narrations.
Speedwagon is fine. But he also wound up being overall useful to the story.
But I think with as many series I watch and read plus with the majority being sports the sideline narrator bothers me more than anythingvelse lately lol.

Worth reposting this then
@Cyan:
Caesar
I literally noticed a few months after watching Part 2 that if Caesar was taken out of Battle Tendency, literally NOTHING changes in the plot. At all aside from less emotional stakes.

Pretty much this. Hayato's much more effective, I could care less about story efficiency if your personality, voice, and even your design is annoying to me. Good writers make main characters both useful and entertaining.
And about Speedwagon. As weird as it was for a character like him to be introduced as an intimidating enemy and yet never play a role in battle at all afterwards, his obligation to help Jonathan so much because of feeling he owed him his life just from seeing his moral charisma appeals to me for some reason.

I'm pretty sure you could do the same to AC/DC, but we'd be deprived of that fucking crying panel.
Without hayato kira would have won, he's sick enough to record his parents bedroom.
Hayato manages to figure out how Bites Za Dusto works and gets around it in spite of not actually knowing what Stands are.
Smart kid imo, Kira is blessed to have such a genius child

Nah. At least he showed the fruits of Joseph's training and actually got taken down in a proper 1v1 fight without any gimmicks like whatever the hell that chariot battle with Wamuu was supposed to be categorized as lol. And he got the Red Stone of Aja transported and properly distracted Team Joestar during that period.
That's nowhere near as redundant as, say, finding the Pillar Man's base, Caesar having a last minute backstory, Caesar rushing into the villain stronghold recklessly, Caesar encountering Wamuu, Caesar nearly beating Wamuu, getting Wammu's ring into a blood bubble, dying, Joseph finding that ring, choosing not to take it until he beats a fully recovered Wammu himself, and Joseph and Lisa Lisa being outnumbered by vampires and deciding to negotiate with the Pillar Men for the Red Stone of Aja to fight in Rome.
If Caesar wasn't in the story, we literally could've skipped right from the first step to the last step. And nothing would have changed.

Its kinda sad he accomplished more than Part 6 Crew, and that Reimi killed an antagonist unlike Jolyne.

Fixed. Lol. He was already dead. But now he's supposedly in Hell. She got the satisfaction of destroying his soul.
I was a bit confused about Jotaru getting that moment of looking like he got those additional hits in for the people that encountered Kira. But he was barely present. He was a looming factor but besides the coat shop I didn't find him that relevant to the story. Maybe if Araki had shown more of him interacting with Josuke and Joseph it would have worked better.
Koichi was probably my least favorite of the hero bunch.

He's also one of the few characters to get killed twice and be brought back to life…..a courtesy not many other characters in the series got.

I wonder what she'd think if she found out he pulled a James Brown and made another comeback.
Duwang Gang power rankings
Koichi was probably my least favorite of the hero bunch.
I'm never a fan of straight man characters that are only characterized as being "normal" and have no unique personality traits besides screaming at the absurdity of the protagonist's adventures. Just because a character is meant to play such a role does not mean they can't be unique like any individual on their own. It gets even more awkward when some as bland as Koichi gets his own harem for some reason. I loved his fight with Kira though.
I'm also disappointed that Joseph didn't appear more in the story. He could have at least met Josuke's mom for a hilarious scene. And I wish that Tonio contributed to the overarching Kira plot since he showed up to the Stand user convention where everybody was warned about Kira.
Tonio's power would be one of the most horrifying and unbeatable in the entire franchise if he himself wasn't a pure force of good and happiness and cleanliness for everyone
That's asuming pearl jam can do something else than heal. If he was a different person, then he wouldn't have that stand .
I wanted to see Rohan talking about american readers.
