No I think they just didn't notice the pandaman of volume 74. The editing of One Piece in France isn't serious at all.

I might seems odd but i will not be surprise if they actually do not have the permission for the volume 74.
The thing is that Glenat has to negotiate for every volume (it's not a pack).For example about the cover:

Still better than ivrea, they feel the need to have the volume cover both in the front and back of the book, so if you go to a comic store where the volumes are sold sealed you don´t have a clue of what the volume/manga is even about

Commence people saying Barto's joining because the way his hair hangs makes it looks like he's slightly more centered than Barto or that he's got the same number of people on both sides of him.
But no, this should hopefully be the final nail in the coffin for anyone who would think either of these are joining. Absolutely love the design and especially the color scheme on this one. Always been a fan of the dueling covers like Baroque Works and CP9.

The color scheme for this volume is just amazing.
But then I don't really understand what was the point of 76's cover which basically showcased the same people(minus the dwarves) , but in different poses? Well, no matter StrawHats looking all gangster seems awesome. Luffy looks great. -

Maybe Oda wanted to draw only the future alliance. To respect the parallel with the previous cover, he couldn't change the position of the gladiators. Maybe the first version had 6 pairs of feet dangling at the bottom of the cover, like Doffy's feet in the previous cover. It was ugly so he added the tontatas to hide those feet…

I usually dont like covers with so many characters like the latest three, but the 76 was unique, the 77 was a very much needed Donquixote Family exlusively, and the 78 mirrors the 77 so it´s ok.

Nah, this volume covers up to Chapter 785. There'll be at least one more Dressrosa themed cover since the next volume will contain the Bird Cage pushing and the conclusion of the fight (and maybe the epilogue of the arc, depending on when it starts and ends).

But yeah, I wouldn't have expected him to be on that cover. He appeared in Chapter 704 in the panel where he was mentioned, and again in 706 where the D Block competitors are all shown off along with the other blocks. He wasn't really that important of a character compared to the characters that got a spot on the cover.

When it goes to chapter 785 it would be a tease for those who don´t know the fight will still go on…787 seems more likely.

Damn. This looks really amazing. I'm buying these volumes as soon as I can and add them to my OP collection. It's a really pretty and incredible parallel and both look great. The colour scheme is also not normal in OP covers, so I praise that too. Funny how Law blends in as a part of the crew, like Jinbe did back in Fishman Island
(although I don't want Law as a crew member, like I do with Jinbe). But it's weird to see Ideo, of all people, in the cover, instead of Kyros, who defeated Diamante. Elizabello and Orlumbus had their roles to play, Ideo… not so much. But he's a cool dude, so I don't care. And Oda already depicted Luffy, Law, Zoro and Kyros a while back (volume 75). Can't wait to see the undercover.Aaaand by October we should have the final volume of Dressrosa. 9 fricking volumes. Jesus.

Another Alabasta similarity - you get a villains cover than a mirrored heroes cover. Volume 79 will be titled Rebecca's Adventure, and she will grace the cover with a grin as pictures of the Straw Hats in combat are in the background. :ninja:
In all seriousness, I love it! The Heart-Straw alliance takes the main focus while the Colosseum fighters and dwarves hang on on the bottom, as they are the allies amassed for the arc (and contributed to victory)
