Pierrot are hit or miss. As long as it's not done by the guys behind the mess that is the Twin Star Exorcists adaptation, it's possible to expect a decent adaptation.
I look forward to seeing how they will animate the magic attacks. If they don't bother putting a decent budget in the main strength of this manga, I won't even bother watching it. -

Nah, majority of episodes are just subpar. Bleach for whatever reason despite being way less popular and coming from the same studio had way more consistently well done animation, especially during battles and overall having better openings etc. than naruto ever did.

Bleach only had a few movies. Naruto's animation would always get hammered during the stretches when the movies were in production.
Pierrot is a fine choice for Black Clover, I'm guessing this replaces Twin Star Exorcist in the spring and gets a similar 50 episode run.

I like that this series uses a lot of tag team combo tactics to get around being fully over powered. It's rarely just one character curb stomping an opponent. It's pretty refreshing and it's done in a way that makes sense.
