Hello fine people

Hey there. I'm Atuin. Long and short term fan of One Piece.
Long Term in that I started watching One Piece around 10? years ago. But what I saw initially was the 4KIDS nightmare and Sanji's snotting all over my tv. I gave up not long after when I discovered what butchering had been done to the show. However the art, the characters and the concept I loved.
Short term fan because it took me until a few months ago to erase the nightmare version and dare tackle the enormous number of episodes the show has accrued. To say now I'm a fan is an understatement as I have gotten up to the Thriller Bark arc in such short time.
I LOVE One Piece and wish there was even more episode to get through still.

My favourite character is Usopp. I also really like Zoro and Nami. I think the 4kids dub has put me off Sanji somewhat as he (and Franky) are my least favourite Strawhats. But I still like them all.

I know there is a split of the strawhat crew coming up soon in the anime where I'm up to. I'm dreading that. What I love about the show is not just the awesome "SUPER" cool fights but the nakamaship. Water7/Enies Lobby arc combined them perfectly. Plus it got a lot of Usopp development in there. :)

So anyway. I am glad to meet you all and finally discuss the show. I'll probably catch-up quick enough to discuss the show up to date as I'll probably be skimming a lot of the later arcs. Coby… shudders Kill it with fire!

And generally everything they have after that whenever you get to it. The filler and long and awkward pauses start to get really annoying after then in the anime.

Hey. For the record I have over 100000 followers. I upgraded from the 8000 :D
Just got done with Thriller Bark and the Saboady arc and in the midst of the Impel down arc. I read the manga for the Lily arc and I'm glad I did as it was rather dull. did intend to read the manga for Impel down but glad I took chance on the anime as I am quite enjoying it. Stil sad about the split but this will do fine.

I wish I could watch it all, erase it from my memory and start again.

I don't mind the fillers myself. I like a break from the major action just to spend time on a more personal level with the Mugiwara. G-8 is by far my favourite filler arc…

Never could get into Naruto. Think I'm just not into the characters. I've quite enjoyed the One Piece Fillers.
