Thanks for letting us know. I was just thinking how nice it would be if 243 came out today. Maybe Gerusama will actually catch up with the raws since the anime is on a break.

That was a most awesome episode. They really directed it well. I've been looking forward to the unmasking of CP9 for quite a while.

One little thing that was annoying was the sudden appearnance of text on the screen. What was that all about? Was there some breaking news in Japan or something? Oh well, it can't be helped when you're watching TV rips.
Not sure if I liked the fish-eye effect. :3

There was also some cool music in this episode. I can't recall hearing some of the tracks before. Like when the agents were heading to Iceberg's bedroom. Where was that from?

Also, didn't the scene with Luffy and Pauly look like a "might-be-next-crewmember" type of tease? :laugh: I wonder if Toei knows about about the Pauly v. Franky debate.

It's an earthquake report. Usual stuff in japan.

I figured it was something like that. BTW, it always surprises me how clean the TV shows seem out there…I mean, here in the US, you can't watch a show without voice-overs coming over the closing credits, if they show them at all. Or do the TV rips somehow cut them out?

Now here's an episode so awesome it couldn't be expressed with words. I nearly forgot how powerful the CP9 are when they are first introduced!
And Luffy managed to break a Tekkai so powerful it can break a giant hammer… shudder

Toei's 4-week-break gives plenty of time for Gerusama to catch up. Go Geru! You da man.

Again a great sub, thanks Gerusama. The episode itself was good but I still donÂ´t like how they have changed the Tekkai/Tileston Hammer thing in the anime. The manga was better here IMO.

It took them slightly over 30 episodes to change the eyecatch. that's why I was surprised when I saw it. Better late than never.

True, but my college has a "bandwidth restriction" ie i can only download a certain amount of megs at a time, or if i go over, my ethernet gets slowed to a 56k speed for a full week

So I'd rather use my downloading resources on something ill save, rather than something id just delete when the gerusama version comes out. I used to download from saiyaman and maplesnow when i was off campus during the summer, but cant do that now

Godly is the only way I can describe this episode. Everything was done so well. It played out like a full-fledged thriller. Major props to Toei for handling this arc so well!

Damn I just can't get enough of that intro bit where "bear mask" is kicking ass. It was so artistic. And that tekkai was played out so perfect..

Also just watched the preview of the next episode, and noticed that 243 didn't even feature Franky and Usopp lol

Oh yeah, forgot to say thanks! The bitorrent wouldn't start for me so this was really helpful, I appreciate it! This was a great episode, very cinematic, loved the shaky camera scene when Blueno hit Tilstone.
