The only ones I have some doubt over is Robin v. Nami (Robin has her fans, most definitely) and Shank v. Chopper (while Shanks is immensely popular, Chopper is a Straw Hat.) But I'll stick with this.

I do hope I'm wrong about Crocodile v. Hattori, though. Watching Hattori beat Crocodile would be too funny.

TOM–Easy choice for me Don't see much of a chance for Pell.
FRANKY--Another easy choice. Franky's got too much flair.
ROBIN--This is a tough one, but right now Robin is the focus of the current arc, which gives her the edge.
ARLONG--He just gets more talk, and currently has affected a straw hat more.
SANJI--Sanji, again easy choice.
HATTORI--Hattori has a lot of fandom right now.
SPANDAM--Once again, he's the current bad guy, which gives him the edge.
SHANKS--I like Chopper, but the Shanks fandom is probably going to take Shanks to the next round.

Okay I just finished a chart with all the participants and their guesses, to aid in the scoring, keepong track etc. I've got up to Onigumo so far. I'll post it as soon as the first round opens people can make sure its correct etc. Also spent a bit of time beefing up my previous ranking table, making it easier to read etc.

@jackvance: Should 'b' represent the total guesses that person made or the total gueses that person made that have been fought. example-> fight 18. someone has guesed for all. Should "b" be 18 or 24?

Pell vs. Tom I love the fishmen, and frankly, I think he has a lot of good buzz. Pell's success against Kuro was a fluke.

AoKiji vs. Franky Frankymania is at its peak right now, with the "he might be a nakama" rumours/stuff. Ao Kiji is an interesting character, but he's too small of a role to really engage hearts.

Robin vs. Nami (!!!!!!!!!!!!) Nami's made a lot of foes… she is often seen as greedy and whiney. My personal dislike for Robin won't do much.

Arlong vs. Ace Ace is full of potential, but Arlong's already delivered as a character.
Sanji vs. Smoker When the smoke clears (wait, it won't), strawhats are on home turf.

Crocodile vs. Hattori I still hold the grudge for Croc knocking my selection out in such complete massiveness, and I think Hattori gets a lot of votes as jokes. I think Croc's incredible cruelness plays both ways– some people really dislike him for it, some love him for it.

Bon Clay vs. Spandam An okama in drag versus a madman in bondage gear…. when did One Piece get so kinky? XD But seriously, I think BC has the name recognition and the "plays well with strawhats" favour.

Shanks vs. Chopper To me, it's another Ace v. Arlong. Shanks, we're just waiting and waiting for him to show the incredible potential we all know he has, but Chopper's been winning our hearts since Drum.

I guess I'll preemptively wave goodbye to Captain Smoker. Love the Moku-Moku, hate the rostering. :D

Though I would just ask you that if there is something to change, I would actually prefer it if you delete the old post and repost it again. No need to worry, you can still compete perfectly fine with the people that already have been voting in the past round. If you do well, you'll pass the people who already have cast 16 votes pretty quickly, especially the ones that didn't do too well.

True that it didnÂ´t start at round 1 but the moment it started it was meant to go until the end. DonÂ´t want to be rude but IÂ´m not gonna change the original plan in the middle just because someone joined later on. During round two there were also people that joined later on and none of them had a problem that otherÂ´s had more guesses then them.
And as Jack already elaborated it, you can still surpass the people that were there from the beginning.

Besides, IÂ´m thinking weÂ´re really making too much out of this guessing game already lately. The guessing game isnÂ´t the purpose of this character tournament, itÂ´s the OP characters popularity contest that is the main thing here. If we continue starting making a big deal out of something that I just made up on the fly for fun IÂ´ll be ending this thing once and for all.
