Good chapter. It's true the feeling of start and stop that Oda has had going on for nearly the entire arcis still there, but it's a matter of getting used to it. Fights aren't as focused as before, and that's already part of One Piece's new dna.
Once you get that out of the way, the content itself is still good. Last week's coreography was definitely more creative, but this was good. Last week was Luffy going all spinning karate master, and this time he said "fuck it" and threw the kitchen sink at Doffy. . .and failed. I can get behind the flow of events.
Cavendish was a super bro, and it was a nice detail that Barto was still dazed (and confused) after Zoro's ubber mountain slashing feat. This is super minor I guess, but I liked the confirmation that Barto seems to be the key to getting from the 3rd to the 4th level and vice-versa.
And Wadatsumi joins Jinbe. No one talks about it, but man, something came out from this slightly cute but overall not very eventful detour on Jinbe's journey.
