Owning some Hokuto No Ken, Maison Ikkoku, Ranma and Dragon Ball mangas is a typical French combination, because those were among the first mangas to be translated in French and released in Europe in the 90s… and among the first Japanese animes to be aired in France/Belgium too, back in 1987, with other series that were famous in Europe like Saint Seiya, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Ulysse 31, Remi, Candy, Mazinger... and live Japanese shows like Bioman (what Power Rangers was inspired from).

btw, i use a cd/media holder as a book case. they're not very deep and have adjustable shelves which makes them perfect for manga. all of my manga are in japanese.
