One Piece usually gets Cover and Colour pages in one of the two double issues during Xmas/new year
It seems there is a short spoiler for chapter 770 by Kaze on 2chan
still waiting for the dofla family color spread
I Think Oda just chooses not to waste time depicting Law gesturing for shambles in every panel, the fact that we've seen the finger gestures for it in the past and the fact that Oda went through the trouble of drawing Doflamingo holding Laws fists closed proves it in my book.
He was holding his fists in order to bring him down to the floor.
They were dropping down at the time.

Alright! this is my final involvement with the Law gestures thing, it's getting as annoying as Vergo's metal **ck theory sigh

If this idiot can do finger movements while holding a sword…etc then Law surely can.
This doesn't explain why Law didn't escape Doula Mongo.
Who knows, she might start pulling off Dragon Claw moves with Hardening just like Sabo. Or fishman karate!
That would be awesome.
Still, if I had to choose, it would be fishman karate. And she could still hurt logias with it.
I would definitely love Robin with some Dragon like moves or Fishman karate basics.

And I am content with her "Hulk Smash" aspect of her style of fighting but she most likely should have picked up few moves from Koala and other revos.

The idea of a 'Ten Fist Ten Brick Fist' would be great.
The more I think about it, fishman karate makes more and more sense. She would have no reason to keep her Haki a secret from others. And as said already, it would be sweet in combination with her devil fruit. It would probably allow her some shortcuts.

But with Jinbe eventually joining, Fishman Karate is unlikely.

Yep! it's up to everybody's own interpretation(s); Dofla's hold, stamina, mental stat, haki… whatever puts your mind at ease about it. Move on people.
But with Jinbe eventually joining, Fishman Karate is unlikely.
Because it's forbidden for 2 SH to use similar fighting style?
Never did like that implied rule. I think it's fine as long as the other crewman is a dual class. We have Zoro pure swordsman and then we got Brook, swordsman/bard dual class. Jinbe would be a pure fishman karate master, while Robin would be… hmm... trickster/fishman karate dual class?

KC says: But each character has a fighting style that set them apart from the other, Brook uses a sword, but his techniques are devil fruit based so they don't collide with Zoro's pure swordsmanship.
Robin has her own fighting style, which is closer to Jiu jitsu. Why would she change that now with fishman karate? Lol.

False equivalence. Zoro and Brook have different swordsmanship styles. The true equivalent would be different martial arts.
Santoryu and Fencing Style are as different to each other as Fishman Karate and Hasshoken are different to each other.
In your case with Robin and Jinbe, it is the same martial art.
It would be the equivalent of Brook suddenly using 3 swords or Zoro using a rapier.
Robin has her own fighting style, which is closer to Jiu jitsu. Why would she change that now with fishman karate? Lol.
Is not changing it but implementing it to her fighting style and making more deadly.

It wouldn't be the equivalent of shit, it would be Robin trying her best to pick up something that will help the crew in the future.
Not overly expecting it, but it would be a lot better than Haki, considering how Luffy already exclaimed monster 3 are the only ones who can use it.

You didn't really think this through, did you? Lol.
She wouldn't change shit, she would reinforce her fighting style. And as far as I recall, fishman karate has grappling and throws too. Granted, Jinbe used it on water, but still.

That was at that time. We clearly saw Ussop learn it so what Luffy said only applied in PH. Every strawhat is going to learn haki, its much needed in the NW. Robin with haki will be so effective..grow an arm on Akainu and punch him in the balls

Oda won't be making two main characters share the same fictional fighting style.
It hurts uniqueness.

Well that would make her improve a lot, but i'll rather have her learn/awaken CoA and CoO.

Jimbi has fishman Karate, but wouldn't Robin have something different, sure you can call it whatever you want but once she implement that style to her own it becomes a completely different style which going by your logic is completely fine.
Maybe Law didnt shambles away because if he did so doffy would teleport with him too because he was grabbing Law. Like with Luffy when they escaped Diamante, he was teleported together with Law because he was grabbing Luffy. What do you think?

At that time? It was like 12 hours ago. And Usopp didn't learn anything, he just awakened Observation. He's still far from measuring power of everyone surrounding him and predicting his enemies' moves.
In the same way, Robin won't suddenly be able to give Trebol devastating logia overriding punches or kicks.

No. when Smoker grabbed him and shocked his throat, he teleported himself only.
Well that would make her improve a lot, but i'll rather have her learn/awaken CoA and CoO.
Those are becoming increasingly boring. I'm hoping not everyone will follow the same skill tree.
Fuck. You are right he did only teleport himself.
To ZOMBI
Like DoDo said, they are alot of ways to beat a stronger opponent (Robin don't need BH or FK to beat Trebol, Like when Luffy didn't have them to beat Crocodile and Enel) .
Robin will solos Trebol.

Name several ways in which Robin could defeat Trebol, then.
What would happen when she sets Trebol on fire?

Set the mofo on fire.
Find Oil and put it on her body, that way his DF won't work on her :ninja:
Lightning =/= Rubber
Oil =/= Sticky
Mehh, it was the same with Usopp back then at the factory, no matter what we say, they needed of fanservice is strong, we can't do nothing but wait 'til Trébol leaves pretty clear who's above in the food chain.
What would happen when she sets Trebol on fire?
Maybe he would die and maybe nothing would happen. Nothing seemed to have happened to him when he lit those dwarves on fire.
Maybe he can change his glue from more and less flamable. Maybe he can change the humidity. I doubt he's that stupid and incompetent to be defeated by some fire after having the same logia for like 30 years.
I hope you guys have more than "fire". I did read about "several ways".

Oda could've drawn Doflamingo holding his wrists or something else to illustrate what you're saying yet he specifically drew Doflamingo holding Law's hands closed.
Why do people think that law has infinte stamina and can do his techniques whenever he wants to? I am very critical in that regard, but its perfectly explainable. The Red Hawk hit is easy to except, Injection Shot also and now this scene too. Nothing what could be illogical, imo.
But interpretations of various people are diffrent, so…

Robin could always sprout a giant hand and wipe him up in a tissue he is a mucus human after all.
She could also find a way to deconstruct the chemical that he becomes when he is sticky; or add an element to it to dissolve it such as water like when she attempted to attack crocodile with a vial of water for a surprise attack. As long as she's using her clones she can be safe from being trapped and fight him at a distance to then spring a surprise attack taking him out with something that will be his elemental weakness.
Robin is really difficult for Oda to write as a fighter as we've seen in the past as she does revolve around a lot of OHKO style moves for fodder. But I really want Oda to challenge himself and write Robin in a semi-decent fight scene one on one for once.
He was after being beaten by Dellinger, Pink and Vise ( & possibly Bastille), but now he wasted what little he had left on the (failed) attempt to destroy the factory.
Classic Fukuru situation, I assume he will get his hands on some cola the moment Oda is getting tired of the hardboiled joke.
I was thinking that as well.
So Franky with 100% cola should be able to wipe the floor(:P) with Senor Pink.
Cabbage's gonna switch with Barto-boy and go after Doula for his precious popularity, and then Cabbage vs Trébol is gonna happen with no problem.
Robin is heading to Kyros, Becca-fail and Diamante and she can change her way to help Leo save LittleCherry.
Dunno why we're already discussing one very unlikely versus.

Robin fans are itching for a Robin fight even if her opponent out classes her.

Damn straight. We believe in her :)

Uh, why does that matter?
There are several ways to hold someone. Holding his hands closed doesn't really mean anything.
Because, as said countless times, he didn't bother to close Law's fists during an entire 3-page conversation. And then there's the fact that immobilizing Law's hands was never stated to be a weakness.
@Paper:
Robin could always sprout a giant hand and wipe him up in a tissue he is a mucus human after all.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
gosh im starving for a new chapter. bring it on KAIZOKU… BERAMI!!!

im betting bellamy is goig out to the words of "weaklings dont get to chose how they die" from Doffy

But what if Bellamy was about to attack Luffy then Dofla kills him before he reaches Luffy and says "remember weaklings can't choose how they die"
Bellamy with last breath replies- "but I knew you would cut me down and that's why I did it" doesn't that mean Bellamy in fact did choose how he will die?

So Bellamy is Luffy's Rockstar? But Bartolomeo is perfect for it! He already has the look and everything :ninja:
