Hello! Did anyone saved this or have a new link? Thanks!
I have it :) .
I have it :) .
Well, my question was aimed at people who, if they had it, were willying to share it, and not for those who just replied out of spite.
But thanks anyway, bro! Already got it and if anyone wants to watch it again, can see it on the link below :)
That darn Greg and his spite posting
Spite posting?
Matamune, I was waiting for a DM!
Was happy to share my full HD rip. Thought it might be an excellent time for you to get back to me on all those DMs I sent but you ignored where I asked why you have beef with me and wanted to know how I could work towards smoothing things out.

Dude, trust me when I say that i have absolutely no beef with you at all, au contraire, I genuinely admire your work and think that your achievements as a OP fan went above and beyond even yours and anyone wildest dreams. I think we had a feud, discussion or whatever, but that was SO LONG AGO! I was eleven years old when I joined the forums, man, and I honestly don't know why you want to "fix" our "relationship" that bad. You're coming off as passive-aggressive as shit, specially when you drop my name on random posts (http://forums.arlongpark.net/showthread.php?t=43241&page=362&p=4045980&highlight=matamune#post4045980). How can i know that you "expected a DM" when you do things like that?
If you are that happy to share your full HD rip, just do it. Do it for the WHOLE community (like you do several other things). I'm sure others will be as thankful as me if you do that.
Thanks for the link!
Oda has just made a message about OP Knowledge King (quiz competition) that will be held on October 24th. He jokingly asks us, “What is ONE PIECE?”. lol
But at the same time, Oda believes maybe the most knowledgeable fans can give the correct answer even to this question… :ninja:
!
Greg won this competition multiple times previously, right?
So what Oda is basically saying is we already have all necessery clues to figure out what One Piece is. I think with that we can assume that at least one of many fandom theories is correct and there will be no totally unexpected twist regarding what the treasure it.
Unless he's lying.
He's definitely lying haha
Eiichiro Oda favorite Volume Cover is the 53 !
*not sure if this was mentioned before.

I mean what's done is done and we all more or less expected this to be the reason why the ~20 chapters leading to 1000 felt rushed and clumsy, but I really appreciate how open he is about it.

You didn’t check out the Magazine thread I see.
Always nice to get confirmation that it Oda did in fact cut corners.
Shame about what it did too Wano, but what can you do about it.
I think anyone with some basic form of literacy knew that pacing was wank up to 1000 and the several returns to things that were handled in a super rushed way like Jack made it even clearer but always nice to have official word on it.
I guess in the context of trying to fulfill the demand of making 1000 special in some way things could have been much worse but I really don't think it was a very positive thing. I guess the most I can appreciate was the following rooftop fan service but it srsly is just wonky with how it split the matchups again.
Good now all the : " chapter *00 hype! Only important things happen in the *00 chapters" can stfu Forever.
Today in the Radio Program (ヤングタウン土曜日), Sanma Akashiya a was guest and someone emailed if Nika "Sun God" a model of Sanma and seems he believed it.
Anyway, Eiichiro Oda answer him directly that "its not true" but he will show his face next time.
Seems Nika will appear in the manga soon

Damn i need to read (and re read) all greg's posting since oda seem to hinted that he or fans at his caliber already able to decipher the one piece mystery code :ninja:
From OP Magazine 14 released today:
When Oda met editor Iwasaki for the first time, he asked, "Do you play Pokemon Go?"
Editor: Yes, I'm level 19.
Oda: Only 19? Then you're not qualified as my editor.
Editor Iwasaki doesn't know if Oda came up with Yamato as a character before Wano or not. Iwasaki has heard Oda saying his characters sometimes act as if they have their own will contrary to the author's intention.
*Oda takes a walk twice a week to improve his health…

Interesting, I really have the feeling Oda only came up with Yamato's character during Udon prison/Oden flashback.
Interesting, I really have the feeling Oda only came up with Yamato's character during Udon prison/Oden flashback.
There’s a possibility he thought about it in some capacity by Alabasta, because of Ace’s vivre card and the question of where he got that.
Glad AP is back.🥰
Oda (2022): I've been earning much money despite me just enjoying my ridiculous drawings. So, I decided to spend my money on ridiculous stuff. (ex. shark toilet, dragon bath, etc)
24 years ago, Oda told the Film Red director about the whole story of One Piece until the ending. The director recently said he wishes OP would end soon because it has been so painful to not spill the beans. BTW, Straw Hat VAs said they don't know how OP will end.
Oda said in the TV show that he is jealous of Straw Hats since they're enjoying their journey. He added he's determined to go on a trip every day after OP ends. When Oda was young, he sat by his father and drew an oil-painting of Luffy.
In the TV show, Oda said he keeps in mind he should meets his family only once a week because otherwise he feels so relaxed with his family and can't focus on drawing manga.
Oda's dragon bath was introduced in the TV show. The dragon was designed by Oda himself.
The drawing of Oda's father is displayed in Oda's house.🥰 His name is Seiichiro Oda (尾田精一郎), an artist. Seiichiro means "energetic first-born son". On the other hand, Eiichiro (栄一郎) means "glorious first-born son" as in his glorious manga.
Oda: Shanks is not a perfect cool guy. The most important scene in chapter 1 is where Shanks was at a loss when Luffy got abducted. Anyone can draw just a cool-looking character. But Beckman just smiles and supports him. Thanks to their relationship, Red Hair Pirates can exist🥰
Oda asked the film Red script writer, "It'd be entertaining if Doflamingo and Crocodile appear in the film." But the writer rejected his offer. I was hoping to see them in theaters..
When creating Film Red, Oda asked the film staff, "Now that OP is near the final saga, it's time to tell you guys about all important events that will happen until the end of the story." But all staff instantly declined his offer, saying they don't want to get spoiled too much.
Oda's TV interview with Gosho Aoyama 10 minutes ago:
Oda: About the final saga, I keep in mind I should fool around more. Even if One Piece ends up becoming a manga where my audience complains, "Such ideas are not interesting", it can be said that it is an entertainment for me.
Who is the naked guy in oda's bathroom.

The interview was in Chinese, so "nakama" was never part of it. And given the timing it's far more likely that Oda was hinting at the Grand Fleet than actual crewmembers
@Coookie Do we know what word was used then? Because without any specifics, all we can do is speculate on what he meant.
I think it’d be odd for him to say people will join the strawhats one after another, just for those characters to not actually be strawhats in a strict sense.

The original interview with a translation can be found here, the relevant part is at the end of the third paragraph. The Straw Hats also weren't mentioned by name in the Japanese translation but the "pirate crew", I'm not gonna even attempt to decipher the original Chinese with online translators.
Just keep in mind that things can get lost in translation since Oda probably didn't answer in Chinese in the first place. So we have a Japanese sentence translated to Chinese, translated back into Japanese or English.
As you said it's all speculation since we don't know what Oda said exactly, but after eight years since the interview happened, the only thing so far that matches the vibe of the statement is the Grand Fleet that conveniently was created only a year later.
@Coookie Well that’s a little frustrating. I feel let down after several years of thinking about that quote and waiting for it to happen. I suppose it’s still possible if Vivi ends up joining for the final stretch of the journey.
Oda has a 100 inch TV in his living room. A store clerk advised him to buy a 90 inch TV, but Oda insisted 100 inch TV would be better to surprise his friends. It ended up being too large to fit through the entrance, so Oda destroyed the wall of his house to carry it in.
That inteview between Oda and Aoyama is interesting, indeed.
Some Japanese are worried about Oda's statement, though.
BTW, Oda sends the numbers of his blood pressure to his doctor every day. The doctor has been warning him about the numbers being too high, but Oda insists an ideal blood pressure can't always be applied to everyone and therefore there is no problem.
I'm not Japanese, but it sounds pretty concerning to me as well.
Worriness aside, Oda's reply sounds like something Luffy would say.
Your blood pressure is expected to float based on the time of the day and the activity that you are doing, but constantly high numbers are associate with heart, blood vessels and kidney diseases (mainly). I hope he's listening to his doctor and making improviments in his life style, to say the least.
Such a long interview but very interesting. Thank you ScotchInformer
@sandman Hi sandman, anyway to get access to the video of the interview? Thank you
This is not Oda's interview, but Luffy's VA (Mayumi Tanaka) said yesterday,
"I believe I can do my work for at least another 10 years."
I wonder if she meant it'd be possible for OP anime to continue another 10 years. I guess the manga might finish around 2030..

Regarding this topic, Oda said in Jump Festa last month, "The final saga will not end so soon".
Here is the full translation kindly made by Greg.

Sorry, mate.
New One Piece Editor is Anayama.
Iwasaki continued for 3 years.
Maybe I'll post some old interviews in the future.
All OP editors have experienced the rite of passage to hear from Oda about the whole story until ending. Editor Isaka, a big OP fan since little kid, said his enjoyment of reading OP chapter every week has vanished away, but he recalled it was really an impressive moment.🥰
Oda usually send his rough draft 17 days before official release. In Fishman Island, editor Isaka advised him to delete the panels of Hody and Decken being surprised because it reduces tension of the story. Oda agreed since editor is the first audience to see his manuscript.
@Cockycent Thanks!
Some time ago I was speaking with one of the editors about the topic of OP fans becoming editors.
Of course, it's impossible to have younger editors who didn't grow up w/o One Piece these days but there's a reason super fans can never be an editor. Oda specifically doesn't want big fans to be editors. The ideal editor is someone who sits down and reads One Piece on the toilet for a few minutes, smirks, flushes, and goes on with their day.
There's no point in pleasing fans who already like the series because if they are attracted to the characters, the characters are already established and (generally speaking) will not change. It is his constant battle to maintain the core feeling of the world that's unchanging while providing new and humorous situations for the characters. The 'new' is important because fans may become too caught up in a way it should be when, so long as the core isn't betrayed, there is no 'should' for manga if it's alienating new fans. Therefore the ideal editor for OP is a 'light' fan.
My wife might make a good editor ^O^
Plus, superfans are more likely by nature to become yes-men and thus less likely to challenge Oda's own ideas, which is the whole point of an editor.
@Greg so smokers never going to be cool again :(
Interestingly enough, even with self-declared fans like Isaka, that's never a problem.
The starry-eyed fan not telling Oda 'no' might be something for ppl outside Shueisha, but that doesn't fly professionally.
This doesn't mean that in the past editors have never had that feeling at the start of their time with him. Some have even said so publicly. But professionally every editor who works at Shueisha is fiercely dedicated to creating the proper product at any cost and they can switch modes on a dime.
I cannot reiterate enough that the fanmade fantasy history of editors is nothing how people imagine it is.
Rest assured that editors, even like Isaka who gushed over OP in his elementary school yearbook, will go stone cold in the pursuit of a better story. Whether they succeed or not is up to each individual but the drive is there. In working with the team myself, I've never hesitated to state a differing opinion or be brutally honest with him and I dare say that commentary stays with him.
So Odas creative process is kind of like 2% growth no matter what. If that is how most manga creators work it could explain why a lot of manga start out stronger than they end
Every single story about manga editors is basically just reheating those stories about Toriyama's editor holding a gun to his head and forcing him to continue Dragon Ball after Bulma shot Goku.
