Gosh, I'm behind. Still need Nami, Kuma, Manticore and Chopper. On the good news. I finally managed to beat chaos goldenweek today. Been trying on and off with a double blackbeard team. I thought I finally had it sorted out and was really optimistic about beating it. And then Heracles appeared instead of the turtle stage… o_0
Problem is I only have one friend with max special blackbeard up and he was gone afterwards. Even tried restarting. So, I ended up taking a sp-level 22 friend, and with gpu I just barely managed to squeeze in enough time to get his special charge and let myself be beaten almost to death by goldenweek and her mobs. And even then the impact still fell short and left goldenweek with some health. Good thing I had Kidd's special which was enough to finish her off. You all are probably laughing that I got stuck on her but I'm still really happy. It's actually really fun to keep trying these teams and work out the kinks and feels really rewarding when it finally pays off. I do need to get my special levels up though, haha. -

Nothing to laugh about! Chaos Coliseum is pretty challenging and you did beat her, so.. congratulations!
And yes, making Raidboss specials a priority is a good idea, most of them get so much more useful on a reasonable cooldown.. if they just wouldn't be so expensive to get!
I like the Coliseum as format so much more than raids (3 weeks to MAX a unit, 30 stamina per run instead of 40 or 60 and still a guaranteed drop, Tomes, Cotton Candy…)! -

Really hurting on Global for box space though, have 50 colo Hawkins and a bunch of various raid bosses so it sure would be nice to get a skillup event about now.
From the Coliseum I triple maxed Urouge, Smoker, Hawkins and Wyper so far. All of them without skillup event and all of them had their special MAX long before their sockets (mostly because they also have books I suppose). Another upside of that method is that you know exactly how many you have to farm. So, from my experience waiting for skillup to level colo units is completely pointless. That just to give another perspective..

Yeah, I've fed 10 copies plus whatever skillbooks I had and only ended up with 1 skillup and 4/15 sockets so that kind of turned me off of it; but I think if I was gemming for runs I'd probably be more keen on that method.

Quick interjection to complain about Raid Luna's drop rate. I ran through his 40 stamina about 8 times without him dropping at all and eventually had to do a 60 stamina run with a gem revive.
Anyways, GP Usopp is the obvious fixture and Doflamingo is pretty common. Beyond that, maybe Fossa? He's on my slasher and STR teams.

GPU and Doffy mostly because how useful they are. I've also used Leo in two or three different teams, and now that my SW Luffy is maxed and socketed, he's my main STR/Fighter beatstick

Same here! I use Gladius in ~80% of my runs at the moment, he's great!
He's a core member of the team I use for almost anything at the moment (because it steamrolls most stages and I have it fully socketed).
I use him in Enel teams all the time, too. For example this one, which I used to farm Kuma yesterday. Normally Gladius is on the lower left (because he gives himself an orb) and the Doffy spot is variable, most of the time I have Halloween Zoro in there.
I also use Leo as much as possible, mostly because I love the character but he's also an outstanding unit. I'm socketing Leo with tomes right now and plan to socket Kidd with his colo version starting next week and then use this team for many things, to get some variation. I'd love to have Barto as captain for that..

One character I use a lot is smoker, another one is log usopp (by far the best log unit after log luffy). but that is mainly because I'm a sengoku user.
dalmatian get in a lot of my crews as well since I got very lucky with his sockets and skill ups (while momonga on the other hand…)

I've had Log Usopp almost since it was released, but I ignored him just because I didn't like his contradictory captain ability XD.
More units:
- I'm very fond of Garp. He was my first real captain, one that I could use to build a crew around him and the second raid boss that I skill-maxed (first was Mihawk). I've found better and stronger PSY units since then, but I still use him anyway sometimes (as a beatstick too or in a Powerhouse crew with Dellinger as captain).
- Blamenco too, his ability is pretty good to get STR orbs and his high recovery has helped at times in my Rayleigh crew.
- Ivankov for the QCK teams. His stats aren't that great and he's often hissed as the most useless raid boss for some reason, but I like him (maybe because I got Capone fairly early so I could use him in tandem with Iva)
- Lastly, from the INT characters… I'd say Slasher Croc. He was the first story boss I really tried to get, and I managed that right before Alubarna was released so I evolved him to his slasher form as soon as I could. I haven't used him much since I shifted to class-based teams and got Legend Mihawk, though

That's true, at 20 CD he's pretty much useless, because there's many better combos for a full red board. But with maxed special Blamenco & Ohm are the fastest combo for full STR orbs in the game with 11 turns (turn 10: Ohm, turn 11: Blamenco = red board). I'm mentioning this, because it isn't as obvious as many other orb combos. It's not 100% guaranteed, but I used it quite a few times and it always worked.

I used the Kraken-Blamenco combo for that, but because I never got Ohm (I didn't go after any of the Skypiea characters but Story Enel, and only got Gedatsu and Shura with FP recruits).

DEX: Izo+Kalifa, Law+Apoo
QCK: Ivankov+Capone+(Miss Valentine, Zoan Lucci, Candy Sanji, Lulu)
PSY: Garp+Mr. 2, (Cindry, Choo)+PSY Jango
INT: (Cindry, Choo)+Towel Nami.For class full orbs things get trickier XD

STR: I mostly used Wapol & Young Arlong for full red boosted orbs. Young Arlong got obsolete with raid Kuma, who does the same thing with much better boost. Wapol will be obsolete and replaced by Colo Kidd when he's out. The fastest combo for Kuma is together with Bepo, though.
QCK: Kaku (the QCK Slasher) & Capone is enough, no need for a 3rd unit, but it's slow (18 turns)
PSY: I rarely use full PSY teams, but if I do I use 3d2y Chopper as captain and SW Shanks as friend, then there's no need for orb control. It's impossible to get bad orbs and neutral orbs are rare..
If you absolutely must have a guaranteed full matching board you can use Cindry, no need to combo then.
DEX and INT you already named the best combos I know of.
As far as classes go definitely Heracles'n for shooters and cerebral of course. For strikers, the best combo is having colo Hawkins & Killer in the middle row. Man, I can't wait for Killer, his special is so amazingly good!
This is my would-be Slasher Dream Team once Killer is out, but I don't have INThawk unfortunately. The orbs are not 100%, but using the specials in order Kaku -> Doffy -> Killer -> Zoro the chance to get full matching is very high. Both Kaku and Zoro cap at 18, Mihawk at 19. So it's up to 3.2M damage in turn 18 and the same in the next turn before even starting to attack!

Lao G/Shiki is fantastic for getting matching powerhouse slots, if slightly limited by how much you get bad orbs. It's still a good feeling to turn all bomb or negative slots into boosted matching ones though.

I'm so bad at raid farming…I've managed a good team to farm Doffy (but it's based on G3 Luffy so it needs a lot of concentration). I don't remember if I have a good team for Enel since I never farm him much

Good news: Phase 3 of the Frieza event starts tomorrow and it'll give manuals for Legend Marco and the Revolutionary batch.
Bad news: for some goddamn reason the Colosseum dissapeared 24 hours before it was supposed to -
its more than 24 hours this time. last sunday I got it gone 4 hours early, wich was ok since I was pretty much done farming. this time , when I saw the thread on the reddit , I grabbed my 60th hawkings and knew that was it.

I hope they put back the Colosseum when the day changes, even if it's just for 19 more hours. My Hawkins still needs 5 or 6 more skill ups

Maxed colo Kinemon and 22/25 sockets - missing 3 bind ones though, naturally.
RR Boa 1/3 - 1 skillup short of maxing, her books really are the worst to try and farm though.
raid Kuma 6/15 with awesome socket luck
raid Doffy 5/21 to finally max him but sockets were 100% garbage.
raid Ener 11/15 - amazing rng and good socket luck too.
raid Kizaru 1/12 - sighAttempting to max Elizabello too while it's here but not having much luck..

Double Doffy + coffin boat + Law + Mihawk + GPU + Prison Mr.1 works quite well for me. My Doffy even is far from being maxed (still missing 10 lvls) but it works. When my 2nd Doffy's special is ready, I can use him and Law to give the final punch in Enel's face.

I think it'd be easier if you used a slasher booster instead of Apoo. Sure, Law+Apoo combo is great, but another slasher gives you more HP and the additional damage you need to take down Enel. You'd have to reroll Law, though in case you don't get at least 2 DEX orbs from him.. rerolling specials sucks, but it's better than wasting 60 stamina, right?
Personally, I went nuts on the recent Gasparde and Halloween FNs and triple maxed 3d2y Zoro. With him (same team you're using, but Zoro instead of Apoo) Enel went from being one of the hardest 60 stam raids to one of the easiest (2nd only to Kuma I'd say). Before I got Zoro I used Kohza, the raid was a lot harder then but manageable. One of the two Mr. 1's should work as well if you don't have Zoro/Kohza.

If you dont manage to take him down with the Kohza boost, youre pretty much dependant on orb luck after that and PrisonMr1 kind of mitigates that in my opinion.

Yes, you're right. I used Kohza because I have better sockets on him, but thinking about it.. INT Mr. 1 is the better choice!

I have Kohza and both Mr.1s, I'll try Prison 1 next time (Law's special is usually horrible to give DEX orbs by itself, though).
The colo is coming back tomorrow, right? I'd better save my snails today then, Nami/Robin's fortnight has become too frustrating for me

But Im looking forward to new fortnights and Colosseums. Noland is getting boring and I shouöld have enough SWS/Mr1 books now. Wheres the skill up event? X)

I'm saving books for usopp, zoro and sanji, all wich I don't have. zoro is the one I have the most (30 - 5 for each level needed), but I'm thinking of reducing this to japan new rates (1 in 3, so 18 books), and do the same with the others.
I mean, by the time I get them, If I do, the rates would already be better. I also have a lot of marco, shanks and ace books, and a few of Log luffy (and 2 of boa). helped a lot when I pulled WB (pulled in CP9 sugo, was skill up event at the time. started at 21 CD from day one, wich was great) . and also helped me with shanks that I pulled, I'm just waiting for a skill up event, but have more than enough books, I think. the ones I do have (luffy and nami ) I would'nt be saving if I didn't, so my box is really cramped.

^Yeah, Global needs a skillup event in a bad way right now. The only books I hold onto if I don't have the unit are for 6* at this point since it's helped me out in the past. But like last Sugo I finally used my SW Shanks books to make boxspace and then I pulled him. >.<
Ended up farming 25 Ener copies yesterday, hopefully I have as much luck with skillup as I did on JPN. lol

Yeah, as others have said I'd definitely switch up Apoo for a slasher booster or Doublefinger. It's pretty much a sure kill from 70% if you have a couple dex orbs.
I used to run Doffy caps(sometimes with Mihawk co-cap instead once I got sockets), Mihawk, Kozha, GPU and Slasher Croc since I don't have Law - but having to reroll orbs was super annoying. Ever since I got Moby Dick skilled up I can speedrun safely with Sengoku or mix it up with other caps if I get bored. On Japan I just run normal slashers with inthawk or 6*law lead, sometimes Caesar + Fuji caps.

Outside of pulling Koza, I can't think of anything more irritating in this game than doing a fortnight and the drop from the final Round being a cola. Happened during Alvida and it just happened to me again during the Robin and Nami one.
And then, just because, I get three Apprentice Buggys while doing all of that fortnight's levels.

Just cleared the new Kanjuro colo - it is definitely harder than Kinemon's was imo. I'm assuming it is like Kine where you have 3 possible mini bosses for stage 3; I ended up getting Magellan who does paralysis for a turn + poison that ticks pretty hard: barely made it through by popping everything on Moria(stage 4) and then using Law + Mihawk specials on Kanjuro to take him out before Magellan's poison killed me. If he happened to have some resurrect mechanic I would've died lol.
His special turns color orbs to matching for free spirit/strikers but turns rcv/bombs bad so it's pretty good but not quite as good as Kine overall. I'll probably focus on maxing dex Moria instead of him since I'm not even sure I can make it through safely every time.

Man this Hawkins Colosseum business is really starting to piss me off now.. i was doing a few runs, gemmed for the next runs, restarted the game to refresh my friend list - and he's gone again. Again with more than 10h on the clock. Dafuq is their problem with this event?
