Ok, so I got my new Fighter Man, Legend Jinbei, and tomorrow I'll leave him evolved and ready to fight. His special almost looks too overpowered, but does it really make hitting Perfects that hard? What if I counter it with a character who can make Perfects easier? And who would be his best partners? I'm guessing Koala, Hack and Señor Pink at the very least

True, the turtles are now normal again, but the turtles that have been pulled earlier still retain their godly power in the character box. Gonna be holding onto those puppies for just the right character.

Congrats on Jinbe! He's one of the best captains you can have. There's a ton of amazing options for subs like the ones you listed and don't think there's a set dream team like with Ace/Croc but rather per fight. Raid Sabo and raid Kizaru are both really nice for him.. and if you happen to have 6* Marco you can do pretty much anything. I've seen some stuff with Don Sai + Hadjrujin too. And yeah, if you use 3D2Y Luffy special first it cancel out the negative from Jinbe.
Half of my friends got a 6*, so I end up pulling.
4 pulls: Crap, Shit, Poop and 4* Vergo. New RR, he's a pretty good beatstick, but he isn't worth those 20 gems. I won't pull until that 2 anniversary, hopefully I'll get my second 6*.
On the bright side, thanks to the afro FN I finally changed CD for auto-heal on my LL. I mentally prepared myself, and got into that hell known as Training Forest: Pheasant.

Maxed the bike failing only 3 times (yep, I was at 999), that must be a feat!
Man, that was quite hard, It's not that hard until you get to CobyMeppo's stage, then you must pray and hope to get good orbs. Then you get Z (not really) which is a pretty straightforward stage. And then you cry. The Warlords' stage with that combo-breaker zoom is hellish!
All my gratitude goes to Urouge, his 4 farmable sockets and his special, which gave Aokiji some boost in the final round that came very handy.
I also got Ener in the FP pulls. Too bad I farmed him already!

Low HP specials like Don Sai and Don Chinjao are awesome for him (now I kinda regret evolving Chinjao). I'd be great to get QCK Marco, but since I don't have him, I think I'll go with Koala(I'll change her for Don Sai once he has skillbooks), Pink, 3D2Y Robin (1 HP+orb lock) and CP9 Califa (absolute protection with 1 HP).
EDIT: then again, if I get locked orbs maybe it'd be better to have Sergeant Coby (1.5x for two turns) rather than Pink's 1,75x for one turn…

after my crushing sencond multipull yesterday… I'm having fun again. this new FN is nice. I need a dragon to evolve gasparde, and since I'm already near out of space (colo smoker + several books) I'm probably not waiting long to socket gasparde.
I'm gonna gem a little this weekend (after I see how many gems I will have left from shiki), so I can go resocket lucci (taking out CD and going autoheal) and finish socketing kaku next week

I don't know what to do today… I already got the new characters from this fortnight and I'm not that interested in the manuals (I have 3D2Y Brook, so I guess I could farm those), but I'm not interested on the other two fortnights either XD (should probably get some sockets on Slasher Croc, but having INThawk...)

I really wanted to farm croc. I could use sockets on the versions I have (prison, impact and slasher - no legend) . but gasparde with his 4 sockets is taking priority. tomorrow I don't know what to do. I already have 30 smokers (plus 9 books), but he will be back a few more times… I think I'm ignoring him tomorrow to continue gasparde, then shiki, then gasparde a little more until lucci (wich I use a lot, so i'm re-socketing him)

That last skill up was a real pain but I'm glad to max him before the event finished. Maxed Don Sai, Kumadori and Kid Law special in the process.. plus Baby 5 and Buffalo almost fully socketed.
Now I can focus on Zoro/Brook/Sanji sockets from halloween FN… and on that note, it looks like the 3 new halloween FN's are gonna be like the girls of summer ones which will be especially nice for Roci and Sugar sockets.

Akainu is freaking rough! On stage 2 you get a debuff where RCV gets completely disable to the point that even specials or autoheal sockets won't work so stalling is a bitch. And Akainu res after death to like 50% and knocks the unit that gave the final blow away so Inthawk is really nice to have there. Basically there's zero room for mistakes or you're screwed.
Got 3 copies of Shiki so far on natural stam thanks to snail meat since I don't have any gems left after sugo. Went 3 for 3 ez on 60, decided to do a 40 with the rest so I could get the gem, and failed that because I couldn't stall it right due to early stage mobs dying easy. lol

I'm running slasher team with Law/Inthawk/3D2YZoro/raidDoffy/ColoVista. Inthawk seems almost required with the way Akainu res + knockout a team member. The early stage are freaking annoying, like HP boosting captains get screwed with the swap on wave 3 and no way to recover it back.
Oh, no, 17 books to max Law special.. I have no idea how many for Baby5 but her poster dropped way too much. I had her at 15/15 before evolving, pretty much leveled her up with just her copies and whatever junk fodder/books to clear box space.
So far I've only beaten 40-Stamina Shiki, I got beaten on Stage 2 of 60-Stamina and I'm waiting for my Stamina to replenish.
They have announced Ace's Training Forest! There's also a new "Beginner's Set" starting in a week where you buy 6 gems and get 4 extra gems, an Amber Hime Turtle and a free try to get some special characters).
EDIT: Nnnope, can't beat 60-Shiki. I'll stick to 40 until I get a copy and move on

Got a few copies from stamina 40. It was easier than I thought. But 60 is still not possible.
Okay I cant beat 60stam without gemming but Enel/Enel-Lucci/Doffy-WB/Ivankov works well for 40stam.
Wb and gladius ont he bottom row are doing the jib for me ! I,m at 8 copies. And its hard. I got beaten twice ob the early stages and the first time on shiki sinceramente gladius become the captain and I did 2 greats

I'm doing Double Enel, Legend Marco, Lucci, Thatch, Sugar and so far 7 copies from 40 stamina thanks to the meats.
It's not the team I really wanted to use but I'm still at a low level so my crew cost is low.
For Shiki I'm using Ener friend captains with 6* Marco lead, DJ Sanji, leopard Lucci, Thatch and Boa. Only thing is I'm 100% without sockets except for what's on Sanji and the friend Ener, but it's steady but slow victory.

What are you trying to stall on? I think if you use Doffy to attack you could stall a really long time in the first 2 room? I've been able to using the Dex mob in 1st, and int cannon guy in 2nd room.
Oh, using the Kuro ship from syrup island mission too probably make a difference.
I keep dying on shiki. I got 14 copies and failed like 6 or 7 times in the dinassours stage or the praying mantis
I hate that mantis so much. I've messed up and had to stall until the blind drops a couple of times now.
Just now realizing the absurd amount of orb control a Driven team gives you. Orb-boosting and slot-swapping happening all over the place.
Shiki/Lao G jumps out as a way to get a full red field with a Driven boost and two waves of damage on the side.
Wow Zephyr was so easy but Shiki? I can't even get to the guy to get him T_T
Got my copy from 40 sta on the second try. Double Enel, mihawk, hina, 3d2y luffy, doma. Even though he swapped in mihawk as captain in between I still managed to get him. Yay, this game is becoming more fun by the day. Also, did my first time over 1M damage yesterday. Felt great.

failed so many times… its a little sad. I hope he comes back. I really like the character, and until he does I think I'm gonna save untill the skill rate up is permanently raised, and even then I will wait a skill up event
How big is your box space? Im starting to think that I messed up not expanding it very much in my early stages of the game and now I kind of wanna use my gems for raids and RR multipulls…
Only have like 280 slots and Im already filled to capacity with skillbooks and Enel copies. Grrr
0 copies. I couldn't play much during the afternoon, but even after beating 40-Stamina 5 or 6 times and he didn't drop.

You should start trying to use more synergy in teams as you get more and more pirate lvl. Luffy's a nice beginner lead since he boost all classes by a bit now, but like for instance, your new Ivankov boost free spirit sub-class by 2.5 so that would boost both Luffy and Hancock as well. Or Hancock lead with a full qck/psy team, Nami captain with Iva and Chopper and other int subs, etc.

I used double LL, raid Doffy, Ener, Zoan Lucci and Intvankov. The last one mainly because of the healing special, the sockets and the 7-hit combo needed to finish Shiki off. The sockets were Lv.5 AH, Lv.3 Bind and despair and Lv.2 orbs and Lv.1 CD.
The stalling was done in the 1st or 3rd round. The only thing that could kill me was the 1CD mob squad or missing the combo. So it was.

Striker teams are 100% viable. Aokiji makes a great Captain.

strikers are pretty good both with and without legends
they have
2 2.5 captains (kid and vergo)
1 legend entirely centered around them and also pretty easy to use (bartolomeo)
they have one of the best raid characters in aokiji (1.75 boost + 2 turns orb lock and really good stats) which also makes a decent captain if you need less power and more hps
they have access to some pretty good beatsticks,including legends like whitebeard and its 30% hp cut
they also have a variety of good subs like
damage reducers (alvida,both fortnight and colosseum version,smoker if you need something less powerful but that stays for longer)
heavy poison (impact crocodile)
orb manipulation (kumadori,carue, colosseum killer)
orb boosters (fortnight kaku,squard,colosseum smoker,don chinjao)
fixed damage dealers (raid enel,squard)
delayers (leo,diamante)
healers (mansherry)
and probably something i don't remember right now..only thing they kind of lack is decent HP cutters (the ones that do % based damage, like "cut 30% of the hps of your opponent")
that being said,in late game pretty much every class it's "viable"..some are more OP than others,some are more reliant on RR pulls than others, but all in all one of the strong points of this game it's that
a) every class is competitive
b) most of the characters are useful,one way or the other
c) it's a game where you will not survive with only one team, so you are forced to strategize and make evrytime new teams to better deal with what the fortnight/story chapter/ raid/colosseum stage is gonna throw at you….probably some of the most OP team can clear almost anything..but they usually need multiple legends and RR characters.

I got extremely unlucky with gasparde skill ups. global need that permanently increase ASAP. I nearly maxed his sockets (only 1 chain to go, might regret not giving him orbs)

During the 2nd japanese anniversary they increased the skill up rate. Permanently. And of course, they still get the special x2 events.
