Yeah, Roger's not just a great character but he's PSY and with a Supertype that requires characters who already have a fair number of PSY characters so it's really easy to build great teams for him that get the most out of his Supertype.
Compare that to, say, Oden who has a fairly big range of characters who meet his Supertype requirements but a lot of them don't even have STR types.

I've picked up enough gems that I have a comfortable margin for the second part so I went ahead and pulled a few times. I got the new Nami and Sanji/Luffy. The latter seems like they really need a beneficial orb CA without the switch.
As is, Roger is a lot better than them.

Well I did 14 pulls on the Sweet Commanders banner. I got the Sweet Commanders (it took me until my last pull to get the Sweet Commanders), Oden, the new Blackbeard, and the new Nami.

Four pulls on the second banner did the trick for me since I picked up both Bege and the Commanders. One multi on Part Three got me two copies of Germa 66 and a dupe Roger so now I'm waiting to see how the next TM banner looks. If they have the Halloween legends or a decent spot for a guaranteed booster, I'll pull there.
Otherwise I'm going to start saving for Big Mom Vs Kaido.

I'm wondering what Sugo they will have after the Anni to bait in people before Kaido/Big Mom. Last year we had this amazing Support/LRR Banner. Maybe we will have some Global First and Kizuna Banner.

Barring a 6+ Kaido that somehow gets around NAO, I can't really think of a major legend they could dangle at this point for a bait Sugo. That would explain why they've kept him out of the Medal Shop though.
The Halloween batch has already had their content so that wouldn't work either even though they were left out of the Anni Sugo.
Another LRR/Event character sounds about right though, especially with a guaranteed Bonney at some point.

Seven multis got me Kaido vs Big Mom, Halloween Law, Kaido (finally), and Hawkins. I even got that secret Luffy animation with the plus one on one multi, which promptly gave me a dupe Hawkins. Really glad to have Kaido now that the Chopperman missions reset; double Kaido easily lets you autobattle the clashes and forests for those.
Of course now that I have Kaido, not sure what I'll do with all those medals I've collected if the Super types don't show up any time soon. I think V2 Snakeman is now my oldest missing legend and the other Halloween legends are the only other ones I don't have.
I also picked up INT Jack and Queen but not King, who, as always, seems to be the most important one of the batch. It'll probably be a Beach Rebecca/Halloween Doffy/Wano Carrot situation where I won't get him until all of the content that depends on him is already passed.

I did one try on the sugofest. And I got Kaido vs. Big Mom, which that surprised me, since I didn't expect get it on my one try that I planned for this event. Since I was planning to save my rainbow gems.

The next sugo in global after the Treasure Map is the V2 Duo Princesses and then the Kizuna Sanji/Pudding V2.
All units are good but Shiraman and Sanji/Pudding are ones you should pull for.

Rumor is that we are getting a new game mode with the update that will accompany the 7th JP anniversary no details as we don’t know much about the 7th anniversary.
He most likely just didn’t get them just due to it being phased out and effecting global, with the maintence coming to global they should at least adjust the box size for the Kizuna

One new feature also coming to JP for the anniversary that Global will get is a new ability for Duo Unis.
Super Swap.
Basically a meter is built up when you switch in and out duo units and once it’s filled you gain a super ability from it, it’s basically Duo units second special like how Supertypes supercharge same color units and the Versus abilities on VS units.
IMO a good change as duo units since the introduction of Supertypes and VS units don’t have that ability that second reason to help run them as a captain.
Most duo units have been runner as non captain units since then and this helps balance things in there favor.
ATM we just know Law/Chopper have one but I can t imagine they will be the only ones to get it for the Anniversary

Of the lot, Luffy/Ace need it the most since everything that unit does is done better by another Luffy dual unit with Barto/Cabbage probably being the next most dire need.
Warco is still really, really good even as is while Inu/Neko has taken on a second life in the Luffy/Sanji PSY/STR challenge teams; with minor tweaks in arrangement, that one team can clear the Whitebeard, Revo, and Doffy challenges and might be able to do the Ener challenge when we can fully limit break Sakazuki/Borsalino.

There hasn't been any 5+ characters since the Germa batch though (shame really since a Germa style superevo event would have been a perfect fit for 6+ Blackbeard and his crew) plus there's really not that many good Rob Lucci RR units to begin with. Makes about as much sense to just make a V2 CP9 batch unless then do that entire dual unit batch.

I think that Moria/BBV3 will be french Anni, don't know if there will that kind of hype as there was when ShanksCrew debuted on global.
Ace/Akainu though is one of the best upcoming legends.

Since we've skipped the last two, it seems almost certain that Team Kizuna is a dead concept on Global.
